Born to the former RedwoodClan deputy, Icesong's kits are born in a time of war and death, losing their father and older sister before ever meeting them. Icesong is distraught and does her best to raise them alone. Gorsekit is named after the father she will never meet and is entrusted with keeping his memory alive. She's apprenticed to Woodfrost, a well-known warrior who's started to lead the fight against ThistleClan. Recently, Gorse--'s mother has stepped down as deputy and moved to the tunnels to pursue peace. Gorse-- is left behind in a clan facing a potential war with ThistleClan.
Where will she fall in clan politics? Will she push for war like her mother once did or advocate for peace?
Family:
The former deputy of RedwoodClan. She has a long history of being a power-hungry deputy but has calmed down after losing her mate and kit. Icesong was a good, but sometimes distant mother. She did her best to overcome her grief and raise her kits. She decided to name Gorse--/Flame-- after Gorseflame and Freezingsky after Frozenpaw. She hopes it will let the kits somehow connect with the kin they can never meet. Once her second litter reached warrior age, she resigned as deputy and moved to join the tunnel cats. Recently Icesong has established a cross-clan apprentice training program to teach the next generation to be peaceful.
