The Apostles is a warrior cats roleplay based in northern Wisconsin. On Lake Superior, the wild cats have made the Apostle Islands their home. It is on these islands - Rocky Island and South Twin Island - that the clan and tribe cats have lived in a peace and harmony that ebbs and flows with the tide.
But as the tides turn, so does the truce that binds them to one another; and as the water raises, a darkness follows, an evil that will end in bloodshed and violence.
While the tunnel cats make no claim to a formal camp, a large cavernous chamber, lit by a pinprick of moonlight, acts as their main gathering place for impromptu meetings and communal chatter. A ledge juts out of one of the stone walls, giving Vega and other cats who wish to speak, a place to make announcements. Extending from the chamber are many nooks and crannies, tiny individual caves, where the tunnel cats make their nests and commune in secret.
A hidden area known only to Vega and his selected family, the Stone Walls is a cave in which a mysterious old two-leg structure lies. In earlier days when two-legs roamed the islands, entrepreneurs built stone houses within the open cave. Abandoned for seasons, only tall stone walls stand within the safe haven. It is here that Vega and his family sleep, gather, and live hidden from those considered outsiders. As it sits in a cleft, none would normally step into it, making the location safely hidden from unwanted visitors.
Found adjacent to the lagoon is a cave composed of many vibrant and enchanting colors. Swirling like a whirlpool, the stone walls are a cacophony of shades, varying from reds, yellows, oranges, and greens. Light streams down from a break in the ceiling, lighting the stone into an explosion of color. The area is believed by some to be the epicenter of the island’s creation. As such, cats in need of healing from wounds and sickness will often rest in the cave as a center of life.
