The Apostles is a warrior cats roleplay based in northern Wisconsin. On Lake Superior, the wild cats have made the Apostle Islands their home. It is on these islands - Rocky Island and South Twin Island - that the clan and tribe cats have lived in a peace and harmony that ebbs and flows with the tide.
But as the tides turn, so does the truce that binds them to one another; and as the water raises, a darkness follows, an evil that will end in bloodshed and violence.
RedwoodClan makes their home in an ancient redwood tree forest that covers the southwestern section of the island. The massive trees stretch far into the skies. Their colossal trunks house numerous mice, rabbits, and birds. The wide bases and substantial mass of the redwood trees make an effortless climb for trained warriors. Once the warriors make it to the branches, some cats like to hunt birds or use the altitude to observe other cats or predators from a safe distance.
Across the forest, near the falls, an old, worn cave sits, abandoned. Redwood warriors believe that bears used to live in the cave; however, the rocks have been deserted for some seasons. The cave has since been used as a known landmark for herbs and the occasional hunt, and sometimes, a rare black bear can be scented in the winds. Many young apprentices and warriors test their bravery by venturing into the old caves, trying to see if they can best the bear that once resided there.
Near the southern cliffs, just north of the MoonCave, resides an earthen graveyard, a small, shaded clearing where several redwood trees have taken their final breaths. Their trunks are blanketed in thick moss and fungi. Here, lives an abundance of small critters and birds. Herbs also flourish in the rich nutrients of the fallen giants. This landmark is notorious for its eerie nature as the clouds seem to descend and blanket the fallen trees with a perpetual mist. The most western end of the graveyard is used to lay fallen warriors and clan-mates to their final rest.
