When Freezingsky finishes growing, she will stand at 11.5” tall, standing at less than a claw width shorter than her mother. Taller than the rest of her siblings, she is extremely leggy, though that is hidden by her insane amounts of fluff. Said fluff also hides her naturally thin frame, making her seem much buffer than she really is.
While her older sister’s pelt was a mix of blacks, reds, and whites, Freezingsky’s pelt is almost entirely white, with the only color being a mix of blues and creams on her ears and a few splotches of blues and creams on her rump. Mackerel tabby stripes crisscross those splotches of color.
Like her mother and sister, Freezingsky has beautiful blue eyes. While Whitewhisker’s eyes are a warmer blue than their mother’s, Freezingsky’s eyes are lighter than Icesong’s. They’re an ice blue, and appear harder than the deputy’s eyes.
Out of all of her siblings, Freezingsky has arguably the fluffiest coat. It’s is so long and fluffy, in fact, that she often has to spend hours grooming it, lest it gets all matted. It is not uncommon for her to delay eating in order to groom her pelt. Occasionally, she finds herself having to go to her sisters, brother, or mother for help with taming her pelt.
What she doesn’t ever need help taming, however, is her tail, as she doesn’t actually have one. Where a long, feathery tail should be, is a small, fluffy nub. One that looks more akin to a rabbit tail than a cat tail. Because of this, she’s found the idea of climbing… daunting to say the least.

Personality
+ Dedicated- Freezingsky tends to throw herself into her work with an almost obsessive fervor. It’s not uncommon for her to be out practicing moves and crouches over and over again until she gets them perfect.
+ Eloquent- Always thinking her words over before she speaks, Freezingsky is considered extremely well-spoken. Of course, this stems from her fear of being less than perfect, but it doesn’t negate the fact that she’s eloquent.
+ Neat- Despite how much effort it takes to keep herself clean, she always puts in the effort of keeping her pelt in pristine condition. She also does everything to keep her nest as clean as possible. After all, she needs to look perfect. Anything less would make her family look down upon her.
+ Obedient- Obsessed with making herself look good in order to not make her parents look bad, Freezingsky will do anything someone who ranks higher than her without complaint.
- Perfectionist- Freezingsky is obsessed with being perfect. Absolutely obsessed. Everything she does has to be perfect. She constantly struggles under the weight of her heritage. Icesong is the RedwoodClan deputy. Her father was a brilliant warrior who died in the name of the clan. Her older sister, the molly she was named after died in the name the clan. She’s so petrified of disappointing anyone that she is such a perfectionist.
- Bossy- In her quest for perfection, Freezingsky bosses her siblings around. All of them. She doesn’t care that she’s the youngest. She just wants the family to look good for Icesong and Gorseflame’s sake.
- Anxious- Freezingsky is a bundle of anxiety. She wants to be perfect so bad, that any sort of slight causes her to panic. She needs to be perfect, or else the clan will think her parents were actually bad cats and she can’t have that happen. She just… can’t.
- Unhappy- At the root of everything, is a deep seated unhappiness. Feeezingpaw just… isn’t happy and she doesn’t know why. She feels like she doesn’t fit into her fur. Most days, she wants to curl up into a ball and never leave her nest. But she can’t. She just forced herself to go about her day, pretending that everything is perfectly okay.
History
If there was one word that could describe Freezingkit’s kithood, it would have to be “war”.
Born as the last kit Icesong and Gorseflame would ever have together, and named after her sister who fell in battle, Freezingkit was surrounded by war from the moment she opened her eyes.
Of course, being born during the climax of a generations long war would do that to you.
Despite the whispers of war, her kithood wasn’t bad. It was actually pretty nice. The adults in her family did their best to care for her and made her kithood nice.
Icesong, while not around as often as Freezingkit would have liked, was there for her and always encouraged her. Snowtalon, for all the trauma of watching his sister and father fall to the same vicious killer, would play with Freezingkit. Mallowfrost was really the only adult in her family who didn’t come around to visit.
Freezingkit’s littermates were her playmates most of the time, but she didn’t mind. Gorsekit was eager to please her, which Freezingkit loved, eagerly initiating playtime with the caliby. Whitekit, despite being unable to hear a word Freezingkit would say, would drag her around camp to explore.
On one of these excursions around camp, when she was three moons old, while Snowtalon and Icesong were both busy, she and Whitekit were playing in camp. Freezingkit can’t remember what happened, but she ended up upsetting an elder. She vividly remembers them scoffing at her, commenting on how it was disgraceful for the daughters of the deputy and a noble warrior like Gorseflame to act the way they were.
She remembers another elder laughing and saying that they weren’t surprised Icesong was gone so often. She must be disappointed in her daughters too.
Those words cut deep. She never heard the third elder tell the other two off for being horrible. She just returned to the nest and thought. The elders’ comments didn’t just hurt, they felt wrong. But… nothing they said was incorrect.
She was the daughter of Icesong and Gorseflame. She was acting like a normal kit. She needed to grow up. From then on, she forced herself to act as perfect as possible. She couldn’t put a paw out of place, nor could she let her sisters step out of line. She couldn’t let them seem less than perfect either!
The trips around camp with Whitekit that she had seen as endearing turned into her trying, and failing, to keep Whitekit calm and collected while she shoved the longing to play with her deaf sister. Gorsekit’s desire to please her, while heartwarming, was unbecoming of a daughter of Icesong, and she told her that.
Eventually, these efforts were seen. She gained an admirer in Sunnykit, one of Daffodilshimmer’s kits. Cats started to praise her.
She should have relished in the coos of “what a polite little molly” but she didn’t. Something about them made her feel off. Still, when she heard someone mention how Icesong must be proud to have such a nice, polite daughter, Freezingkit decided that the odd feeling she was getting was worth it.
Eventually, she was apprenticed to Ravenfeather. The pair have a bit of a contrary relationship, but Freezingpaw can hardly bring herself to care. With the war over, the clan has more time to pay attention to what everyone is doing.
She can’t slip up. She can’t let Icesong down. She needs to be perfect.
Unfortunately… that wasn’t enough.
Soon after earning her name, Freezingsky, Icesong announced she was leaving for the tunnels. This devastated the molly, making her think it was her fault she left.
Due to this, Freezingsky poured herself into her work, desperately believing that if she worked hard enough, maybe her mom would come back.
With war with ThistleClan on the horizon, the calico is doing everything in her power to train. However, despite this training, despite throwing herself into everything…
A feeling is growing. One she can’t name, but one that continues to rear its head every time someone reminds her she’s a molly. And she has no idea why.
