ADOPTS
ADOPTS
[PTabbedContent][PTab=Rules]
INTRODUCTION
Canon & Plot Adopts feature two specific kind of staff-created character and/or plot adopts:
a. Canon adopts - Characters who are direct descendants of or related by blood to previous leaders, deputies, medicine cats, tellers, or important figures in the clan/tribes' history. Canonical characters may or may not be important secondary characters related to the plot. To learn more about these character's ancestors, visit the NPC bios. Some Canon and Plot Adopts may be listed as secondary characters.
b. Plot adopts - Plots without a character in mind. So instead, we post a blank template, explaining the plot, and character needed for the role. These plots can be filled with a character you already play, or you can design one specifically for the role. Some may or may not be important secondary characters.
RULES
1. Members are required to fill out the form below if they want to adopt a canon character or plot.
2. Some Canon and Plot Adopts may be listed as secondary characters in their posting. You can read more on the High Position & Secondary Characters thread.
3. If a member becomes inactive for more than 1 month, they will lose the character or plot, and it will go back up for adoption.
4. Members also have one month to create the character's biography, or it will go back up for adoption.
5. Since these are canon adopts and related to established NPC characters, we ask that there be minimal changes to the outlines we have created. FCs, personalities, and suffixes are negotiable within reason!
6. If you want to negotiate parts of character, reach out to wish for permission.
7. This thread will be updated as we continue to create more NPCs and important site-wide plots. Make sure to check back for more!

2017
› Born during the leaf-fall of 2017, Rowankit entered a Clan on the precipice of war. A great-great-great-great-grandson of Ginger, his father, Oatscar proudly carried her outsider blood and his mate, Skyflame, advocated with him to continue RedwoodClan's open and accepting borders.
2018
› Becoming an apprentice in the new-leaf of 2018, Rowanpaw saw many skirmishes and was not a stranger to death. His mentor, Heavybranch, was a skilled fighter, particularly known for fighting among the canopy. He passed down his lessons onto Rowanpaw, who readily took to the fighting style.
› An infectious flirt, Rowanpaw used his dashing good looks and impressive strength to woo many of his den-mates. This brought him grief when he once tried to impress a group of ThistleClan apprentices at a Gathering, and he casually mentioned his ancestor, Ginger. They ridiculed him for his kitty-pet blood.
› Near the end of the 2018 season, he earned his warrior name Rowanleap after fighting in a skirmish against LichenClan. He dropped out of a tree alongside his mentor, and helped drive back the patrol.
2019
› Shortly after earning his name, Heatherstar was pronounced dead and Finchstar received his nine lives. Rowanleap supported the young and inexperienced leader and his decision to elect Minkfur, a former kitty-pet as his deputy.
› Around his twentieth moon, he slept with a den-mate, Duskshine, a former rogue who joined RedwoodClan as an apprentice. It was just a fling, but Duskshine found herself pregnant with his kits. They decided to become mates and try to make it work for Flickerkit and Flowerkit.
› However, right before the kits became apprentices, Rowanleap and Duskshine made the difficult decision to mutually break-up. Rowanleap could not picture himself settling down so young, and Duskshine was actually in love with someone else. Though she did not share this with the kits, and only publicly took on her new mate many moons later.
› Because of this, Rowanleap graciously took the blame for the break-up, which caused a rift between him and his son: Flickerpaw, who believed his parents split because Rowanleap was too promiscuous. Flowerpaw, however, was closer to her father, and did not blame him.
2020
› During the 2020 season, LichenClan declared war on RedwoodClan and attacked their camp after they agreed to help the Tribe. His mother, Skyflame was killed in the battle, which pushed Rowanleap to become more involved in the war. He offered canopy training sessions to warriors and apprentices alike and helped Finchstar and the other senior warriors strategize war efforts. He joined the attack on the MoonCave and remained a vital voice of support for Finchstar and his decision to help the tribe.
2021
› As the war bled into 2021, Rowanleap continued training warriors and apprentices, passing down Heavybranch's lessons. He was a strong voice against the militant members of their Clan, who questioned Finchstar's lead. Despite being a strong and capable fighter, Rowanleap disagreed with aggressive warmongering, and looked to alternate methods to end the war, such as working with the LichenClan rebels and using the refugees and Tribe cats to their advantage.
› Tensions with his son deepened, who adamantly criticized Rowanleap's tom-catting and sleeping around. When Flickersight's mate, Frecklewing, became pregnant with kits, Flickersight banned Rowanleap from the nursery and from meeting his children.
2022
› When Rowanleap learned of the rogues teaming up with LichenClan, he suggested that they seek out other outsiders who are unaffiliated with the rogues to get information.
› In green-leaf of 2022, his father, Oatscar, passed peacefully in his sleep as an elder.
› Despite wanting to meet his grandchildren, Rowanleap respected Flickersight's decision, and did not interact with them.
› At the end of the 2022 season, Rowanleap was summoned to fight in the great battle alongside his daughter Flowerfang in the canopy. They warded off several opponents and took two lives. When they returned to camp, they learned Flickersight's mate, Frecklewing, was killed. Rowanleap tried to comfort his son, but Flickersight only pushed him further away.
2023
› During the 2023 new-leaf flood, Duskshine was sent on a patrol to help LichenClan escape the waters. The current was too strong and washed her into the lake, where she was killed, leaving his children motherless.
Current Plot ideas
› As a senior warrior, Rowanleap has many friends, but he aches to rekindle his relationship with his son and meet his grandchildren. Will they ever repair it? Will he finally settle down? Will he continue training apprentices and warriors? Support Finchstar during a new era of peace?

main points
2019
› Born during new-leaf 2019, Flickerkit entered RedwoodClan alongside his sister Flowerkit to Rowanleap and Duskshine. Despite never truly loving each other, his parents put on a good front and cared deeply for their children. Flickerkit was closer to his mother, but greatly admired his father and wanted to be a great warrior like him.
› From birth, Flickerkit was always quieter and more sensitive compared to his loud and boisterous sister. A silent, handsome, and brooding type, many of his den-mates had tiny kittenhood crushes on him, including the young Frecklekit. She toddled around after him, always wanting to play.
› Right before he became an apprentice, his parents broke-up. The split was very hard on Flickerkit, and he started to blame Rowanleap for 'destroying' their family after an apprentice told him his father slept around with everybody. Flowerpaw tried to convince him to forgive their father, but he only grew more resentful.
› Early into his apprenticeship, war is declared between RedwoodClan and LichenClan. Flickerpaw finds himself in a skirmish alongside his mentor, Brushshadow, and Frecklepaw. Flickerpaw ends up protecting Frecklepaw from an aggressive LichenClan apprentice, and her already blossoming crush on him deepens. They begin to spend more time together and Flickerpaw starts to like her back.
2020
› During green-leaf 2020, he earns his warrior name, Flickersight, for his stealth and spying abilities. Quieter and more reserved, he becomes known for fighting unexpectedly from the shadows. He refuses to fight among the trees, a decision to hurt his father, and only retreats to the canopy out of necessity.
› Shortly after earning his warrior name, he and Frecklewing become mates. He is sent to go fight in the MoonCave against LichenClan and does well in the battle, despite RedwoodClan losing the fight.
› His mother, Duskshine, takes on a new mate, and he is happy she's finally moved on from their father.
2021
› At the start of the 2021 season, Flowerfang falls ill. Flickersight spends a lot of time in the medicine cat's den keeping her company. They grow closer as siblings, and he confesses to her that he and Frecklewing have been struggling to have kits.
› As RedwoodClan strengthens their relationship with the LichenClan rebels, Flickersight helps Finchstar pass messages and works as a night sentry due to his stealth.
› Flickersight fights against LichenClan when they ambush RedwoodClan. He successfully wards off two warriors, but returns to camp, dismayed to find Frecklewing injured. This further puts off their dream of having children as she's bound to the medicine cat's den for several moons.
2022
› At the start of the 2022 season, Frecklewing finally falls heavy with kits and gives birth to their three children: Brookit, Creek-kit, and Splashkit. Flickersight forbids Rowanleap from seeing them.
› At the end of the 2022 season, Flickersight fights in the great war. He is separated from Frecklewing when they descend into the tunnels. He wins his fights and returns to camp. Frecklewing does not. She is killed in battle, widowing Flickersight and leaving their children motherless. Flickersight breaks down and pushes everyone away, including Flowerfang.
2023
› Slowly Flickersight's grief becomes more bearable, but in its absence, a fierce protective streak comes over him, especially regarding his children. This is escalated when Splashpaw and Brookpaw go missing during the blizzard. He braves the storm to save them.
› During the flood, his mother Duskshine passes away trying to help a group of LichenClan warriors. After her death, Flowerfang confesses Duskshine's secret to Flickersight, revealing she was the main reason their parents broke up.
Current Plot ideas
› Conflicted, Flickersight now doesn't know how he should approach his father. Do they mend their relationship? Does he let his children meet him? Is he pissed at Flowerfang for lying to him? Can he help his grieving children? Will he ever find love again?
personality suggestions

2019
› Born during new-leaf 2019, Flowerkit entered RedwoodClan alongside her brother Flickerkit to Rowanleap and Duskshine. Despite never truly loving each other, her parents put on a good front and cared deeply for their children. Flowerkit was closer to her father, but got along with her mother as well.
› From birth, Flowerkit was always a rebel, trying to sneak out of the nursery and cause fights. A natural contrarian, she enjoyed picking holes in her den-mates' stories and was considered a bully. Only Flickerkit kept her company.
› Right before she became an apprentice, her parents broke-up. Flowerkit could sense her parents' relationship was forced, at least compared to the other queens, so it was not a surprise to her. She accepted with a shrug and tried to convince Flickerkit to get over himself.
› Early into her apprenticeship, war is declared between RedwoodClan and LichenClan. Interested in learning how to fight in the trees, she begins training with her father, while her mentor, Mistytooth, strengthens her muscles on land, turning her into a prodigy fighter.
› When she is nine moons old, she stumbles upon her mother, Duskshine, being intimate with another warrior in the woods. Flowerpaw confronts her and learns her mother was in love with another cat, which is why she left their father. Flowerpaw promises not to tell, though she criticizes her mother for letting Rowanleap take all of the blame.
2020
› During green-leaf 2020, she earns her warrior name, Flowerfang, for her fighting abilities. She is frequently sent out to fight in skirmishes and continues training with her 'old man.' She continuously comforts her father and keeps him company.
› Her mother, Duskshine, publicly takes on a new mate, and Flowerfang privately tries to get her to tell Flickersight the truth, but she refuses, fearing he will hold a grudge against her too. Flowerfang angrily storms away, creating a rift between them.
2021
› At the start of the 2021 season, Flowerfang catches red-cough and is forced to stay in the medicine cat's den for most of leaf-bare. Flickersight keeps her company and confesses he is unable to have children. She tries to convince him to reach out to Rowanleap, but he refuses.
› Once she recovers, Flowerfang jumps back into battle, and fights against LichenClan when they ambush RedwoodClan. She joins her father in the trees and launches several unexpected attacks on LichenClan.
› Refusing to end up like either of her parents, Flowerfang guards herself and her heart well. She does not easily fall in love and usually keeps most relationships superficial. She's never thought about settling down or becoming a mother and sticks to meaningless, one night stands.
2022
› At the start of the 2022 season, Flickersight welcomes three kits into the Clan. Flowerfang fiercely loves them and spoils them rotten. With his permission, she teaches them appropriate fighting moves and vows to mentor one.
› Flowerfang is granted her wish and begins training Splashpaw, her niece, at the start of green-leaf. While both are similar in nature, Splashpaw proves to be a challenging apprentice and pushes Flowerfang to her limits. She talks back, ditches training sessions, and doesn't take training very seriously.
› At the end of the 2022 season, Flowerfang fights in the canopy alongside her father. They kill two opponents and ward off several others. Bloody and exhausted, they return to camp, startled to find Flickersight's mate, Frecklewing, dead. Flowerfang desperately tries to comfort him, but he pushes her away.
2023
› During the blizzard, both Splashpaw and her sister Brookpaw go missing in the storm. Flowerfang and Creekpaw alert Flickersight and he immediately leaves to find them. Flowerfang restlessly paces until they return. Her anger sets Splashpaw right, and they finally get into the groove of training.
› During the flood, her mother Duskshine passes away trying to help a group of LichenClan warriors. After her death, Flowerfang finally confesses Duskshine's secret to Flickersight, revealing she was the main reason their parents broke up.
Current Plot ideas
› Three moons late, Splashpaw finally earns her warrior name. Flowerfang is proud of her apprentice, but begins to doubt her ability to teach. Should she take on another apprentice? Finally make connections in the Clan? Help Flickersight mend his relationship with their father?

2022
› Born in green-leaf of 2022, Brook-kit was the first born and oldest of Flickersight and Frecklewing's litter. As the oldest, she made herself responsible for her siblings and 'took care of them,' though Splashkit thought she was controlling. Similar to her mother, Brook-kit grew rather close to her.
› Nearly the opposite of her sister, Brook-kit and Splashkit have a complicated relationship. They fiercely love each other, but also violently hate each other at times too. Splashkit often got annoyed with Brook-kit and her rules, claiming she acted like "mom."
› Creek-kit, however, was their constant mediator and balanced them out. Reserved and thoughtful, Brook-kit found comfort in her brother's easy demeanor and never grew frustrated with him.
› At six moons, she was apprenticed to Loudstorm, a highly respectable senior warrior. They took well to each other and forged a solid working relationship. A diligent apprentice, Brookpaw worked hard to prove herself and found she was a natural fighter like her ancestors, particularly in the trees.
› Once while practicing her fighting moves, she stumbled into her grandfather, Rowanleap, as he was getting ready to train. Brookpaw thought about introducing herself, but her father only told her terrible things about him, so she reluctantly looked away, but not before catching a strange sadness in her grandfather's eyes.
› At seven moons, the entire island erupted into war. Already showing promise as a fighter, Brookpaw joined Loudstorm on the battlefield and helped to end the war. When she returned to camp, however, she was devastated to learn that her mother did not make it.
2023
› Brookpaw distracted herself into her training and pushed away her grief. She refused to allow herself wallow in depression and 'give up' like her father did. She comforted her brother, and acted as a pillar of strength for him. She tried to do the same for Splashpaw, who was severely acting out, but her sister only got pissed at her.
› The blizzard struck the island during her twelfth moon on the island, right before she was going to be named a warrior. However, the night before her ceremony, Brookpaw caught Splashpaw sneaking out of camp during the height of the storm. Brookpaw tried to stop her, but her sister ignored her and ran out into the snow. Cursing, Brookpaw followed her and they got lost. They were forced to shelter together in a burrow. In the morning, their father found them and brought them home.
› As punishment, Brookpaw's ceremony was pushed back by a moon. Deeply enraged, she blamed Splashpaw and spent the rest of her apprenticeship in a sour and angry mood.
› At thirteen moons, she became Brookstone, named for her strength and steadfast nature.
Current Plot ideas
› As a young warrior, Brookstone shows great promise for her Clan, but harbors a lot of unresolved guilt and trauma. Will she ever process her mother's death? Mend her relationship with her sister? Meet her grandfather? Help her father heal?

2022
› Born in green-leaf of 2022, Creek-kit was the second born and middle child of Flickersight and Frecklewing's litter. As the middle child, Creek-kit found himself constantly pitted between his two sisters and nearly dwarfed by their strong personalities. Quiet and reserved, he usually played with himself or hung out with his parents.
› A mediator between Brook-kit and Splashkit, Creek-kit brought a strange balance to their trio. He enjoyed Splashkit's sense of adventure and usually toned down her crazy ideas by offering his safer, and more creative, alternatives. While he found great comfort in Brook-kit's steadfast personality. They often got into in-depth discussions and shared tongues.
› Occasionally, their great-grandfather, Oatscar visited them in the nursery and told grand tales of their kitty-pet ancestor, Ginger. Creek-kit devoured the stories, hungry for more, but unfortunately, Oatscar passed around his third moon.
› At six moons, he was apprenticed to Ruefeather, a like-minded tom who was also quiet, patient, and thoughtful. He taught Creekpaw how to gather herbs for the medicine cats, and imparted many important lessons about Clan life, particularly about the importance of accepting others.
› A quick and creative learner, Creekpaw showed great promise as an apprentice, but struggled with fighting. He grew uneasy in the canopy and often gave up. Flickersight offered to help train his son, and like him, Creekpaw took to lessons about stealth and fighting from the underbrush, showing great promise as a future spy.
› At seven moons, the entire island erupted into war. Creekpaw and Splashpaw remained in camp as the rest of their family leapt into battle. They nervously waited all night until they returned, but Frecklewing was not among them. She died in battle.
2023
› Creekpaw greatly mourned his mother's death, and like his father, fell into a deep depression. Both Ruefeather and Brookpaw worked to help him heal, and he slowly processed his mother's death. After a few moons, he was ready to return to his training with a new vigor.
› Despite his promise as a warrior, Creekpaw struggles to make friends in the Clan due to his shy and reserved nature. He desperately craves connections and wants to settle down and have a family one day, but he doesn't know how. His whole life has been spent being trampled by strong personalities, and he fears they'll only continue to shut him out.
› The blizzard struck the island during his twelfth moon on the island, right before he was going to be named a warrior. On the night before his ceremony, his sisters went missing in the storm. He immediately notified his father, who went out to find them. They did not return until the morning. As punishment, their naming ceremony was pushed back, and Creekpaw earned his name alone, becoming Creekwhisker.
Current Plot ideas
› As a young warrior, Creekwhisker shows great promise as a warrior, but struggles to push past his shyness and feels lonely. Will he find a place in the Clan? Make friends? Fall in love? Will he help his sisters mend their relationship? Or help his father process his grief? Will he ever meet his grandfather?

2022
› Born in green-leaf of 2022, Splashkit was the third and final born kit of Flickersight and Frecklewing's litter. As the youngest, she was the most rambunctious of her siblings and the one constantly pushing them into mischief. Her parents constantly reprimanded her behavior, but nothing worked.
› Nearly the opposite of her sister, Splashkit and Brook-kit have a complicated relationship. They fiercely love each other, but also violently hate each other at times too. Brook-kit often got frustrated with Splashkit and all of her stupid, reckless ideas and feared she'd constantly get them all in trouble.
› Creek-kit, however, was their constant mediator and balanced them out.
Reserved and thoughtful, Splashkit found a creative and encouraging friend in her brother, and they've rarely fought.
› At six moons, she was apprenticed to her aunt, Flowerfang. Splashpaw was excited to train with her aunt, deeply admiring her fighting skills and reputation in the Clan.
› But her training did not go well. Flowerfang took it way too seriously, especially as tensions with LichenClan increased. Splashpaw just wanted to have fun and learn how to fight in the trees. All of her other apprentice duties were 'boring', so she constantly ditched and challenged her mentor's decisions. Their strong personalities clashed.
› At seven moons, the entire island erupted into war. Splashpaw and her brother remained in camp, while Brookpaw was selected to fight alongside her mentor — as were their parents. They waited all night for them to return. Brookpaw and Flickersight did, but Frecklewing, their mother, did not.
2023
› Splashpaw refused to admit her mother's death affected her, but it did. She began lashing out and getting into more trouble. She made reckless, irresponsible decisions, such as leaving camp by herself and going after predators to prove herself. Her dad's grieving only made it worse. She wanted to comfort him, but didn't know how.
› The blizzard struck the island during her twelfth moon, and because of her behavior, Flowerfang refused to pass her on any of her assessments, and her siblings were poised to graduate. Frustrated and desperate to prove herself, Splashpaw left during the blizzard to try and take down large prey. Brookpaw caught her sneaking out and tried to get her to return home, but they got trapped in the snow instead. After sheltering all night, their father found them in the storm and brought them home.
› After the blizzard, Flowerfang confronted Splashpaw. They fought viciously, snarls turning into violent blows, but by the end of the fight, Splashpaw vowed to take her training seriously.
Current Plot ideas
› At fifteen moons old, Splashpaw earns her warrior name and becomes Splashfire, but is it enough? Will she take her rank seriously? Or return to rebellious ways? Will she repair her relationships with her family? Confront her mother's death?

GRAYSTAR'S DESCENDANTS
swiftSIGHT - ADOPTED
ThistleClan | Warrior | She-cat | 72 moons (-8 from Owlfang)
recommended long-haired black smoke | recommended face claim
recommended long-haired black smoke | recommended face claim
main points
› Born to Mistyfang, Graystar and Budblossom's grand-daughter, and a rogue father. Her mother fell for the rogue's charm and bore his kits. Caught sneaking around by her own brother, Mistyfang's secret was revealed to the whole Clan. Froststar did not punish the she-cat, for he too had his own secret affair. Instead, her family hunted down her lover and killed him, and she was ousted from their ranks. Alone and heartbroken, Mistyfang finally gave birth. Swiftkit was the only one to survive. Her 3 other kits were still-born.
› Unaware of her lineage, Swiftkit grew a sheltered & protected life in the nursery. Mistyfang kept her rogue father a secret and coddled her. The rest of the Clan, however, knew about her rogue blood and treated the kit differently, often casting her dirty looks. Swiftkit was in for a rude awakening upon entering the apprentice's den.
› Facing constant ridicule, Swiftpaw was immediately picked on and attacked by her den-mates. One even went as far to slashing her left eye in an attack, half-blinding her for life. It was during this battle that she learned who her father was. Disgusted and ashamed of her heritage, she disowned her own mother and clung to her great-grandfather's heritage instead. Though her cousins and aunts and uncles refused to accept her.
› Desperate to prove herself, Swiftpaw trained diligently and earned her warrior name at 11 moons. She was named Swiftsight, presumably for the ragged scar across her eye, though Froststar never outright said it.
› An outcast in her own Clan, Swiftsight fought tooth and claw to rise within the ranks of ThistleClan. She would foolishly challenge other high-ranking warriors in the Clan to duels and lose due to her own inexperience. However, this began to change as she became stronger and a more conniving fighter. Using her wit and brutality, she began to win more battles and her Clan's respect.
› Wanting to create her own legacy and clear her own name, Swiftsight sought out one of the best warriors in the Clan to sire her kits. A much older tom, Lynxfoot refused at first, not wanting to sully his lineage with rogue blood. A descendant of Graystar and his games, Swiftsight challenged the tom to a spar. If she won, he'd sire her children. If she lost, she'd graciously step down. Doubting he'd lose, Lynxfoot agreed. He lost, and gaining new respect for the she-cat, agreed to bear her kits.
› Not much later, Swiftsight gave birth to their two children: Needlekit and Nettlekit. Refusing to do what her mother did to her, Swiftsight told them of their rogue blood and started preparing them for life outside of the nursery. To encourage their fighting skills, she purposefully pit her children against each other and egged on their spats. She was a cold, stern mother.
› After returning to her warrior duties, Swiftsight periodically interrupted her kits' lessons to check in on their training progress. Unhappy with Nettlepaw's mentor, Swiftsight demanded that Thievingstar reassigned him to a stronger fighter, a tom named Yellowtalon instead. She continued to monitor their progress over the course of their apprenticeship. They start to find their mother over-bearing.
› During the flood, Lynxfoot drowns in his den, leaving Needleleap and Nettlesting without a father. Swiftsight coldly mourns his death, though she had no feelings for the tom. ThistleClan then moves to the campground and rogues take over their territory. Adamantly against outsiders, Swiftsight starts to challenge Thievingstar's decisions and grows frustrated with her Clan.
› Charging into battle, Swiftsight readily goes after the rogues and aids in winning back their camp. However, the victory is short-lived. Not soon after, the rogues attack her camp and injure Needleleap. Thievingstar is also killed. Enraged, Swiftsight tries to encourage the newly named Stagstar and Firfoot to join the war and end the rogues one and for all.
› After Needleleap is discharged from the medicine cat's den, Swiftsight and Nettlesting are assigned to help her re-learn how to fight with her disability and chaperone her on outings outside of camp. Swiftsight wants to help her daughter regain her strength but struggles to be a sympathetic and understanding teacher.
› ThistleClan finally makes an alliance with RedwoodClan and joins the war. Minnowstar and the rogues are defeated. One of ThistleClan's most senior warriors and accomplished fighters, Swiftsight battles alongside her Clan-mates and helps win the war. But she remains skeptical of her leadership. Now in a precarious position, Swiftsight believes ThistleClan should use their recent win as an opportunity to make ThistleClan stronger by whatever means possible.

› Born to Swiftsight and Lynxfoot after her mother beats the tom in a duel. She is born alongside her brother, Nettlekit.
› From a young age, she learns of her rogue blood and her great-great-grandfather, Graystar. She is desperate to prove herself and greatly ashamed of her rogue heritage. So she readily trains under her mother's strict tutelage from the age of 3 moons old. To make her stronger, Swiftsight pits her children against each other on purpose, forming a deep-seeded rivalry between the two.
› Constantly trying to one-up each other, Needlepaw and Nettlepaw enter their apprenticeship and try to immediately out-rank each other. They challenge the other apprentices in the den and quickly earn their respect, despite their rogue blood. Though much to Needlepaw's chagrin, her brother beats her and maintains his rank throughout their apprenticeship.
› Apprenticed to the stern and rule-abiding, Juniperfang, Needlepaw flourishes under her mentor's discipline. Her mother, however, constantly intrudes on her training sessions and annoys both Needleleap and her mentor. Despite this, she graduates early at 11 moons. She is named Needleleap for nimble foot-work and leaping holds in battle.
› During the flood, Lynxfoot dies, leaving Needleleap and Nettlesting without a father. Never close with the tom, Needleleap seemingly brushes off the loss. Though her anger is misdirected toward her Clan and weak leadership.
› During their time at the campground, her mother's cousin, a descendant from Graystar and Glimmergaze, gives birth to two kits: Tornkit and Smallkit. Graystar's family rejoices in their birth, something she and her brother never received due to their rogue heritage. Needleleap begins to resent them and their seemingly 'easy' lives.
› After returning to camp and beating the rogues, Needleleap challenges her brother to another duel. After moons of training, she is desperate to kick his tail and win. A grueling battle ensues, and in the end, she's finally able to beat him and move up in rank.
› When Lily and her rogues attack the camp and kill Thievingstar, Needleleap sustains a major injury to her front, right leg. A rogue nearly tears the limb from her body. She is forced into the medicine cat's den for most of the following green-leaf and leaf-fall and becomes extremely bitter. For a brief period, they fear she'll have to retire early, but her leg begins to heal, though never quite completely.
› Due to her permanent limp, Needleleap is unable to join the war against the rogues and Minnowstar and is forced to stay behind in camp. Angrily she watches as the rest of her family leaps into war. She is currently only cleared for light warrior duties, and it will take some time for her to relearn how to fight with her limp. As she heals, both Swiftsight and Nettlesting have been tasked with helping her regain mobility. Needleleap detests being around both of them.

main points
› Born to Swiftsight and Lynxfoot after her mother beats the tom in a duel. He is born alongside his sister, Needlepaw.
› From a young age, he learns of her rogue blood and her great-great-grandfather, Graystar. Unlike his sister, Nettlekit chooses to own and accept his rogue blood and use it to his advantage. Training comes naturally to him and he easily beats his sister in their kithood duels, forming a deep-seeded rivalry between the two.
› Constantly trying to one-up up him, Needlepaw challenges her brother to multiple duels throughout their apprenticeships. While finding her annoying, he reciprocates and beats her each time, quickly establishing himself as one of the strongest apprentices in the den. The other apprentices find his reserved and stoic demeanor captivating and mysterious.
› Originally, Needlepaw is apprenticed to a mid-ranking she-cat named Redwhisker. A constant presence during his training sessions, Swiftsight disapproves of the arrangement for her son, and requests a stronger warrior becomes his mentor instead. Thievingstar relents and assigns him to Yellowtalon, a powerful fighter of higher-rank. Needlepaw accepts his new mentor but finds the entire situation shameful. He starts to distance himself from his mother and her constant desire to prove herself and rank.
› During the flood, Lynxfoot dies, leaving Nettlesting and Needleleap without a father. Nettlesting occasionally trained with him in between lessons with Yellowtalon. However, they were not close. He respectfully mourns his death with the others.
› During their time at the campground, his mother's cousin, a descendant from Graystar and Glimmergaze, gives birth to two kits: Tornkit and Smallkit. Graystar's family rejoices in their birth, something he and his sister never received due to their rogue heritage. Nettlesting watches them with interest, hoping to mentor one of the young and earn his place back within his family.
› Nettlesting is granted permission to train his cousin, Tornpaw. They form a close bond with one another, and Nettlesting takes a great liking to the playful and clever tom. Never been granted the privilege himself, Tornpaw shares stories about their great-great grandfather, Graystar.
› When they finally return to the camp and run the rogues from their camp, Needleleap challenges him to an unexpected duel. Nettlesting accepts the challenge, expecting to easily beat her as usual, but she wins instead. He tries not to let it affect him, but he is deeply annoyed with himself for the loss.
› When Lily and her rogues attack the camp and kill Thievingstar, Nettlesting fights gallantly and helps his mother run the rogues out of their camp. Needleleap, however, sustains a life-altering injury and is forced into the medicine cat's den for nearly all of green-leaf and leaf-fall. At Stagstar's request, both Nettlesting and Swiftsight are tasked with helping his sister regain her mobility. Nettlesting begrudgingly helps out, despite finding both of them insufferable.
› Nettlesting is called to battle during the war and fights alongside the rest of his Clan. They help defeat Minnowstar and the rogues. However, his former mentor, Yellowtalon is killed in battle. Angered by his loss, Nettlesting uses it as an opportunity to push some of his great-great-grandfather's values onto the Clan. He feels if ThistleClan wasn't so harsh on rogues, they wouldn't be as targeted, and if they got involved with other Clans and politics, they'd see more benefits, like land.

TORNpelt
ThistleClan | Warrior | Tom | 25 moons (same age as Softstep)

› Born to Gustpelt, a great-great-grandson of Graystar and Glimmergaze, and his mate, Petalshadow, Tornkt and Smallkit were eagerly welcomed by ThistleClan during a great time of struggle. They were born shortly after the flood at the abandoned campground.
› Inheriting Graystar's short stature and wild fur, Tornkit was originally going to be named Tinykit to match his sister. However, shortly after birth, the young tom received a ghastly laceration across his flank from the strange, wooden two-leg flooring. He was quickly named Tornkit for his injury, a wound he recovered from without any major complications. Though his fur never grew back correctly, leaving a giant 'tear' across his pelt.
› Gustpelt, greatly proud of his heritage, showered both Tornkit and Smallkit with stories of ThistleClan's most powerful and iconic leader. Enamored with the tales, Tornkit began to idolize his great-great-great-grandfather, and his desire to gamify everything. He and sister would entertain themselves by challenging each other to duels and putting together tournaments with the other kits.
› At six moons, he was apprenticed to the mysterious Nettlesting, who he soon learned was his older cousin, and also descended from Graystar and his other mate, Budblossom. Though quiet and reserved, Nettlesting was a powerful warrior and taught Tornpaw how to fight like a ThistleClanner Sociable and endearing, Tornpaw got his cousin to open up and learned about his rogue heritage. He told Nettlesting how Graystar once allowed rogues and outsiders to join ThistleClan and it made them stronger.
› Among the other apprentices, Tornpaw is mischievous and conniving. True ThistleClan tricksters at heart, he and his sister enjoy playing pranks on their fellow apprentices. Much to everyone's chagrin, Tornpaw can hold his own in a fight.
› Just before becoming warriors, Tornpaw and Smallpaw lose their mother, Petalshadow in the fight to regain ThistleClan's camp from the rogues. Distraught over their mother's death, they both delay their ceremonies, and it's during this time period, they start to grow more apart as Smallstorm feels she should 'grow up.'
› Tornpaw finally becomes Tornpelt at fourteen moons old. A natural flirt, he captures the attention of many of his den-mates, even those impervious to his advances. While he is seemingly flirtatious and noncommittal, he secretly desires an intimate relationship with someone and is a romantic at heart due to the loving relationship his parents shared. Finding his 'senseless' flirting insufferable, Smallstorm criticizes her brother for his need to 'gamify' and always 'have fun.' They start to get into fights.
› Tornpelt was left behind to guard the camp during the Great War, while Smallstorm and Gustpelt were sent into battle. Smallstorm returned, but Gustpelt did not. He was killed by a rogue in battle. Close with his father, they were both devastated by his death. Smallstorm, blaming herself for his death, continues to pull away from Tornpelt, much to his disappointment. He misses their close relationship and games they used to play together.

› Gustpelt, greatly proud of his heritage, showered both Smallkit and Tornkit with stories of ThistleClan's most powerful and iconic leader. Smallkit dreamed of challenging other warriors in her own duels, and like Graystar, becoming leader some day. She and her brother would entertain themselves by challenging each other to duels and putting together tournaments with the other kits.
› At six moons, she was apprenticed to Thievingstar, much to her delight. An eager pupil, Smallpaw greatly looked up to her mentor and shared her desire to become leader just like Graystar. They build a close bond. Despite this, she still entertains her brother and his pranks they play together on the other apprentices. With Thievingstar's training, however, she easily out-ranks him in battle and starts to inherit her mentor's sharp-tongue and temper.
› Just before becoming warriors, Smallpaw and Tornpaw lose their mother, Petalshadow in the fight to regain ThistleClan's camp from the rogues. Distraught over their mother's death, they both delay their ceremonies, and it's during this time period, they start to grow more apart. Smallpaw starts refusing to play games with her brother, wanting to take life more seriously. At Thievingstar's urging, she works hard to finish her training.
› Smallpaw becomes Smallstorm at thirteen moons old. She is named for her battle prowess, and equally fiery temper. While Tornpelt entertains their den-mates with his flirting and games. Smallstorm busies herself by training and moving up in rank in the Clan. She wishes her brother would grow up and join her, but he continues to be a foolish flirt.
› Smallstorm and Thievingstar are out on patrol together when the rogues attack their camp. They rush back to fight, and are separated in the fray. Thievingstar heads to the nursery. It's the last time Smallstorm ever sees her. Thievingstar is killed and Stagstar rises in her place. She is devastated by the loss of her mentor and views Stagstar and Firfoot's leadership with great skepticism.
› During the Great War, she is sent into battle alongside her father, Gustpelt. They fight side by sight throughout the entire battle, but a rogue outsmarts them and lands a killing blow on her father. Beyond enraged, Smallstorm kills the rogue and avenges her father and Thievingstar's death, but it is not enough. She is not enough.
› Smallstorm returns to camp extremely distraught after the war. Very briefly, she allows her brother to comfort her, and for a moment, they feel close again. But then he slips back into his games, and she pulls away. With too much guilt in her heart over her father's death, she feels resentment building for his brother, and begins to question why wasn't he there?

LICHENCLAN
YOUR CHARACTER HERE - SECONDARY CHARACTER
LichenClan | Traditionalist/Loyalist Warrior
main points
› After losing two medicine cats and a leader to the tunnels depths, Quickstar and Emberscorch post guards at each entrance, including the MoonCave, and advise their warriors to avoid the tunnels altogether.
› At Emberscorch's recommendation, queens are also ordered to go on patrol once a week, and those who openly oppose their new rules are ordered to eat last from the prey pile.
› Your character is a loyalist/traditionalist and believes these new rules threaten their customs, traditions, and way of life. Angered and wanting to defend their beliefs, they attended Deadeye's loyalist meeting.
› They do not support Quickstar and Emberscorch's leadership. Perhaps they do not believe StarClan chose them, or granted him his nine lives. Perhaps they believe the deaths are too mysterious. Perhaps they still support the Heron-line...or perhaps they believe it's time for another family to come into power...
› They are willing to go to extremes (killing another cat) to protect their beliefs and rights. They are morally gray (or black if you want to go full Minnowstar).
› They crave a position of power and will hold it gleefully, no matter the costs. If they're able to obtain a position of power, they will use it to enact strict rules, regardless of who it hurts, to uphold their beliefs and customs.
› You (the roleplayer) are willing to face consequences for the character's actions (whether this is life in the catacombs, banishment, or even death).
** This will be a temporary Secondary Character. So only apply if you are willing to be active and follow through with the plot.
