The Apostles is a warrior cats roleplay based in northern Wisconsin. On Lake Superior, the wild cats have made the Apostle Islands their home. It is on these islands - Rocky Island and South Twin Island - that the clan and tribe cats have lived in a peace and harmony that ebbs and flows with the tide.
But as the tides turn, so does the truce that binds them to one another; and as the water raises, a darkness follows, an evil that will end in bloodshed and violence.

About my posting style
My sense of priority does have a system but it is not the same as most. Logically, numerical by date is the most fair. I do not do this! Though I have tried unfortunately I do not keep up with it well. I wanted to write about how I prioritize threads to communicate to those who are actively waiting for threads from me.
I always prioritize plot threads and threads with timers. After, my higher up threads if they have not been met, followed by apprentice training threads. I tend to do better in group threads and threads that take me the longest are romance and one on one threads. This lack of timeliness is because I feel more pressure with one on ones. If this habit ever becomes problematic please reach out. I am open minded about shifting my relationships but I am also comfortable with very slow burns and personally do not mind romance threads that move at snails pace.
If you are growing frustrated with the time I am taking to reply I am always open to a bump or reminder. I respond well to these, and prioritize threads that I am actively communicating about pretty much same day.
My favorite types of threads to do are mentor and apprentice threads, followed by battle training and sparring. I like bursty threads that involve analyzing fighting styles based on cats personality and body type. Specifically I am interested in exercise science and the type of muscle that is formed based on fighting style. As a mentor I like to assign fighting styles that the mentor thinks is most appropriate based on how the cat interacts in roleplay or their body type but obviously this can be ignored! This is just something I enjoy doing, and specifically is one of my favorite parts of the warrior cats universe.

played by wish , Tigerpool has had a long, slow-burn relationship with the cat Robin-nose. Despite the difficult, mercurial beginnings, the two cats decided to move forward with their feelings. It has been tested but in all imaginable ways to Tigerpool, these trials have woven them closer. A lot of Tigerpool's passion comes from the hope to secure a healthy, prosperous future with Robin-nose and his future family. He holds her dearly in every decision he cares to think through. Although they do not always see eye to eye, Tigerpool trusts Robin-nose and her judgement more than his own. Typically quick to fire out of impulse and emotion, Tigerpool confides in the she-cat who often relishes in a more nonchalant outlook. In practice, this balances the tom and allows him to relish in the moments that best resolve in personal clarity. Tigerpool has also found that Robin-nose has a competitive and passionate side that is resided for the direst of cases, whether it be love or war. He marvels in the moments with this she-cat; Tigerpool knows they come sparring but shining all the same. Whether it be the moments of lazy days or blood-pounding war that unites their connection, Tigerpool's love for Robin-nose remains his driving force.
§ Finchstar §- leader
played by rain , Tigerpool has had mixed feelings about Finchstar. Tigerpool will unwaveringly follow his leader's command out of respect for the code, but constantly doubts Finchstar's decisions. Every redeeming moment is met with more loss. The battles lost under Finchstar's command have continued to suffocate Tigerpool's belief in Redwoodclan. He teeters between frustration, and positively supporting the leader in some hope- any hope- the tom will get his shit together. Tigerpool aspires to find a real reason to truly respect Finchstar and will subconsciously ferret for it in their social interactions. He wants to have hope, it's just continiously deflated.
✾ Orchidshade ✾
played by Maxx, Tigerpool thinks that Orchidshade is strange and is fun to frustrate- if he can get a reaction out of her. Having frequent trips to the medicine cats den, Tigerpool shares a sense of comradery and familiarity with the quiet medicine cat. He is oblivious that this relationship is one sided.
★ Thornfall ★
played by wish , A friend since Tigerpool's youth. They have good chemistry and Tigerpool has naturally gravitated towards Thornfall's energy as a strong warrior. In addition, a lot of Tigerpool's affinty and admiration for Thornfall was founded on Thornfall being the son of Gorseheart. Because of this, Tigerpool is very easily swayed by the opinion of Thornfall and looks to him as an older brother type figure. Tigerpool echoes a lot of thoughts and concerns of Thornfall with the new leadership. However, Tigerpool is more wishy-washy. At least outwardly, he will agree with Thornfall is most all situations.
★ Loudstorm ★
played by moony , Tigerpool loves and respects Loudstorm, which is why he struggles with their few disagreements. When Loudstorm visited the tribe and supported Finchstar, Tigerpool felt political tension that divided their friendship; this created a personal rift between them. This has led to some turbulence in their personalities because Loudstorm is more self-loathing, and proud while Tigerpool is more dramatic and confrontational. Though, time has healed his feelings. Even during his greatest frustrations, Tigerpool has always admired Loudstorm for being a strong, dedicated warrior. At their best, Tigerpool has always thrived off the amiable energy of Loudstorm and echoed the need to protect, and nurture the clan. In some ways, this could create competition between the two but generally, Tigerpool has always found it good natured; until it's not. Regardless, the foundation of their friendship is enough that even during his greatest doubt, he can't help but appreciate and empathize with the tom.
★ Dawnlight ★
★ Ravenfeather ★
played by @~raven, Ravenfeather is Tigerpool's previous apprentice. More than that, he is a lifelong friend. Tigerpool is very proud of Ravenfeather's accomplishments as a warrior and as a father. He will always impulse towards a dynamics similar to that of fatherly love, but has grown to understand that Ravenfeather is now a father himself, ever changing and growing before him. No matter what, this can not rock the kinship that Tigerpool has curated between them. It would take a lot for Tigerpool to see Ravenfeather in anything, but positive light.
§ Ruefeather §
played by wish , Tigerpool thinks Ruefeather is a frustrating punk-ass. He doesn't like Ruefeather's pacifist reluctance, and finds that it stirs up too much internal conflict within his own values (though he is not aware of this, it is just the reasoning behind his avulsion). Deep down Tigerpool just wants what he sees best for the clan, and Ruefeather, even when it's not necessarily the call for the tabby warrior to make.

played by fallenreaper , Tigerpool sees potential in Barkheart and appreciates his helpfulness and dedication to Redwoodclan.

played by bombora , Tigerpool finds Graygaze obnoxious and lazy. Seeing the gray tom again would boil the tabby's blood in frustration- especially after the headache Graygaze gave him with philosophical musings.
Lichenclan
§ Hemlockheart §
was played by c a n n a , Hemlockheart was Tigerpool's ultimate rival. The former Lichenclan deputy delivered two scars on Tigerpool, at one point critically injuring him to near-death. In "This Kingdom is Ours", Tigerpool met Hemlockheart head to head to deliver his revenge. However, the battle was cut short by Finchstar's wounds and Redwoodclan was called to retreat. Since that day, Tigerpool has continued to detest the silver tom and is still unaware of his passing.
§ Nightclaw §
played by rain , Tigerpool holds a lot of remorse over the injury he gave Nightclaw, who leapt at Hemlockheart's defense. Although Tigerpool does not know Nightclaw personally, that moment impacted him and has caused a lot of emotional turmoil about battle, and what is right. Tigerpool still struggles to process these ideas. Eventually, he would find great solace in apologizing to the tom, but he could never see himself in the right time or place.

🎔 Stagflight 🎔 played by budgie , Juniperfang has had a crush on Stagflight since she was an apprentice. When he took on a mate she moved on with her life figuring it was nothing more than an apprenticehood crush. Her feelings never went away for Stagflight. After generous time since Shadowheart's passing, Juniperfang realized her crush was rekindled upon congratulating him for his roll as deputy. Although Juniperfang has always aspired to become deputy her respect and admiration for Stagflight triumphs over her jealous tendencies. She wants to spend more time with Stagflight but is equally as awkward. Juniperfang has never been in love or had a mate before. The only thing that seems natural to her is work. Thankfully Stagflight seems to enjoy the same things.
§ Yewthorn§ played by wish , Juniperfang has always found her brother annoying. Since kithood she couldn't help but roll her eyes at his smooth-talking charm and artful tactic. She harbors some resentment towards crafty individuals because of her distaste towards Yewthorn, and particularly his promiscuity, but this comes from projections of her inner self and her own sense of stifled, disingenuous communication. Yewthorn is better at getting under her skin than any individual. Juniperfang goes out of her way to avoid the tom however, since he is now mates with Morningmist she has been trying to give him more grace. Regardless of her feelings, Juniperfang would still give him the pelt off her back if duty called.
★Birchsong ★ played by lightning , her sister is one of the most treasured cats in Juniperfang's life. Juniperfang has always been drawn to, if not jealous, of her sister's feminine beauty. She finds Birchsong to be a beckon of light in the cruelties of the warrior world. Birchsong is someone she sees worthy of protecting and cherishing. Since discovering the Birchsong is having kits with the rogue, Oleander, Juniperfang's feelings are complicated. In the mean time she avoids her sister, unsure how to digest this information. Juniperfang is torn between the two most important things in her life, the family and loyalty to her clan.
★Graygaze★ played by bombora , Graygaze is particularly tactful at aggravating Juniperfang. Yet at times this has caused her to more thoughtfully reflect on her true, repressed feelings. Juniperfang is appreciative, though annoyed, by Graygaze's candid approach to life. She resents his laziness in combination with his combat skills, but overall still has mutual respect for the tom. She knows that his intentions are not always ill minded and believes deep down he cares for her and in turn, returns this sentiment.
