THE ISLAND
Season 2019
The further islands -- Rocky Island and South Twin Island -- are largely abandoned and only visited by humans on occasion. The once popular trails on the island erode back into the earth and the cabins are run down and inhabitable.Season 2020
Another era of peace comes to end on the island. Redwoodclan and Lichenclan declare war with one another due to their differences in faith. For the first time since the early 2000s, Thistleclan sees an increase in rogue activity, which leaves the clan restless and uneasy.
To the east, the tribe on South Twin Island turn over their leadership to a young and inexperienced tom: Creek. In addition, a sudden and unnamed sickness claims the island and its cure remains undiscovered.
As the new season unfurls, Redwoodclan and Lichenclan are in the throes of a violent war with one another. Lichenclan has extended their territory to encompass the entirety of the Mooncave, successfully banning the other medicine cats from its sacred pool.Season 2021
Thistleclan still deals with the increasing threat of the rogues, as their scents have started to waft further into their territory. In an effort to combat the rogues, Thievingstar has called a land lock on the tribe, officially barring Redwoodclan from the sandbar.
The tribe has started to heal due to the efforts of Redwoodclan's medicine cat; however, they now have to deal with the looming threat of the two other clans who want them dead.
In the ruins of a violent leaf-fall storm and several, brutal snowstorms, the island enters the new season in turmoil. Redwoodclan enters leaf-bare deeply ill, having caught the sickness from helping the tribe across the lake, while Lichenclan continues to threaten them from the shore.Season 2022
The two clans are still locked in an endless war, the death count rising on both sides as Minnowstar continues on her desire to rid the island of sin. Redwoodclan's newly appointed deputy, Icesong, however, is able to rally her warriors into a counter-attack and for once, Redwoodclan wins the battle. Minnowstar is reduced to her final life and believes traitors infiltrate her rank. As the season ends, the Lichenclan delivers mass punishments upon her warriors. A rebellion grows in the shadows.
Between the conifers, Thistleclan struggles for survival, their camp in ruins after the leaf-fall storm. Unable to rebuild before the first frost, the pine dwellers move to the Great Owl Tree for shelter, but the cold, blustery moor provides little comfort. With no where else to go, Thievingstar moves her clan to the Abandoned Campground, while the rogues use their weakness to their advantage. It is not until the warmer weather of Green-leaf arrive does Thistleclan reclaim her camp from the rogues.
With the sandbar destroyed, the tribe is once again cut off from the clan cats, unable to cross the treacherous lake on their alone. Marooned, the tribe cats prepare to face another wave of sickness on their own. More tribe cats perish, and as Green-leaf comes and goes, Creek receives an omen and sends a patrol to Redwoodclan to warn them. His own death shortly follows, leaving the inexperienced Fog as the tribe's new teller. Dissent sparks within their ranks as leaf-bare drowns the tribe island in snow.
A viscous cold cuts across both islands at the start of the new season, and with it, treachery and blood-lust continues to follow. Despite multiple warnings from StarClan, RedwoodClan, under the guidance of Icesong, prepares for a counter-strike against LichenClan's camp. Yet unbeknownst to them, Minnowstar has made a dangerous deal with the rogues who occupy the northern shore.Season 2023
Claiming they were sent by StarClan, the deranged leader welcomes Lily and her rogues into LichenClan territory. Together they strike a deal based on old debts. Lily and her rogues will kill Finchstar, much to the rest of her Clan's chagrin. With the rogues assistance, LichenClan is able to drive RedwoodClan from its camp. Enraged by the attack, Minnowstar sends a patrol to kill the refugees they harbor, but at the last minute, Lily is able to convince the LichenClan leader to send an attack to ThistleClan as well.
Plagued by rogues and the loss of one of their kits, ThistleClan is startled to see LichenClan within their forests, and finally after seasons of tending to only themselves, they are dragged into the ongoing war after the rogues kill Thievingstar. Under Stagstar's new leadership, ThistleClan makes an alliance with RedwoodClan and joins them near the cusp of leaf-bare to end Minnowstar's reign once and more all.
With the aid of the LichenClan rebels and the newly discovered tunnel cats, they are able to defeat Minnowstar and restore peace to the forest in one final, bloody battle. Yarrow, formerly Hemlockheart, becomes the new leader of LichenClan, freeing his Clan of seasons of oppression.
Across the destroyed sandbar, the tribe suffers under Fog's new leadership. Famine grips the twin island as does the constant threat of starving coyotes. Many tribe-mates are conflicted by the young teller's experience. Some believe in Fog and claim their hardships are only an unfortunate coincidence. While others believe Fog was inaccurately chosen, and as punishment, the Tribe of Endless Hunting has sent a plague upon their land. Taking the opportunity, Sumac, a prey-hunter, begins to secure a following of his own, and plans to relieve Fog of his leadership.
During the height of summer, disaster strikes the tribe island. A fire catches the already dried moorland, and during its destructive flames, Fog succumbs to the thunder and ash, his body lost to the lake. Sumac rises in his shadows and enacts a new era upon his tribe-mates, a reign many meet with resistant after he introduces several new rules. Unbeknown to the Tribe, Fog washes ashore the Clan island, where he bides his time, unsure if he should even return.
Leaf-bare begins in a rare season of peace in the aftermath of the Great War. The Clan cats celebrate the lives of their fallen brethren, each practicing their own cultural customs—unaware Poppy and other rogues have escaped to the outlands. Despite the peace, troubling dreams plague the medicine cats.Season 2024
As the cold season persists, a disastrous blizzard hits the island. Each Clan hunkers down to brave the storm. Across the sandbar, Sumac reigns over the tribe and punishes his tribe-mates by sending them to live in isolation on the isles. Unknowingly, Fog is captured by ThistleClan and kept prisoner. However, he escapes during the storm and finds refuge in RedwoodClan. Tensions begin to heighten between the two Clans.
Cold weather persists until new-leaf. With rapidly rising temperatures, melting snow, and torrential rainfall, a devastating flood hits the islands and forces ThistleClan and LichenClan to find refuge on RedwoodClan. LichenClan happily pools resources with RedwoodClan, while ThistleClan draws harsh border lines and challenges the other Clans to border skirmishes. Many cats are washed into Poppy's land in the north. She keeps them hostage for information.
Sumac demotes Talon as head stone-guard and elects a prey-hunter, Laurel, in his place, further diminishing the stone-guard's role in the Tribe. While in RedwoodClan, Fog meets with the other leaders and vows to return home to his Tribe.
As green-leaf returns, Orchidshade mysteriously disappears and an evil presence returns to the MoonCave. Lilacpaw confers with Coyotecall, the former medicine cat of LichenClan, and promises to do his bidding as the half-moons continue to reveal terrifying prophecies. Icesong leaves RedwoodClan and joins the tunnel cats, compelled by their mission of peace. Tigerpool is elected deputy in her place.
With the water receding and leaf-fall returning, LichenClan returns home to their shores, but ThistleClan refuses to return the land to RedwoodClan. Threats of war linger between the two Clan, despite the tunnel cats and LichenClan's call for peace. Poppy sends out her rogues to spy on the Clans and take advantage of their weakened borders.
Fog returns to the Tribe and challenges Sumac for his rightful place as Teller. Sumac refuses and attempts to take Fog's life. Sunrise intercepts his attack and kills him in the process. Fog returns as the Teller of the Tribe and reinstates Talon as the head stone-guard.
With leaf-bare returning, RedwoodClan and ThistleClan continue to argue about the Bear Stones. War looms on the horizon. LichenClan struggles with the mysterious disappearance of Briarfall and a lingering threat in the MoonCave. The season comes to an end with an uncomfortable leaf-bare Gathering.
The islands hunker down during the cold months. Yet tensions mount as RedwoodClan launches an unexpected raid on ThistleClan, forcing them from the Bear Stones. Desperate for an unlikely ally, Firfoot makes a deal with Poppy at the campground and enlists her rogue forces. Across the sandbar, Fog receives a vision and appoints Foxtail Carried by Wind as his apprentice.
As the warm winds of new-leaf return, ThistleClan retaliates against RedwoodClan and reclaims the Bear Stones as their own. Their win is accredited to a group of rogues that attacked Tigerpool's patrol, preventing the deputy from joining the fight.
Suspicious of their win, Stagstar confronts Firfoot and threatens to demote him. Firfoot challenges Stagstar to a duel and wins, forcing Stagstar to retreat in humiliation. As ThistleClan tradition, he succumbs to a dream from StarClan and receives the rest of Stagstar's lives—but the dream is disturbing and unnatural. He wakes as ThistleClan's leader and appoints Blazingstorm as his deputy.
Firstar goes to the lagoon to receive the rest of his lives, but Vega and Icesong are waiting for him. Due to ThistleClan's transgressions, they bar him from the lagoon and a bloody fight ensues. Firstar is blinded and Icesong loses the ability to speak—StarClan also delivers another chilling omen.
On the shoreline, Yarrowstar journeys into the tunnel to search for Briarfall, but stumbles into a dark crevice, never to be seen again. Quickstrike is unable to find him and returns to LichenClan as their leader. He goes to receive his nine lives at the lagoon, but finds Lilacmist's body floating in the pool. StarClan warns him of the tunnel's dangers.
As Quickstar, he returns to camp and appoints Emberscorch as his deputy and posts guards at the MoonCave and tunnel entrances, sparking tension with the Traditionalists. This tension grows as he starts to order non-nursing queens on patrol and further limit their freedom in the caves.
On the Tribe island, Foxtail receives a mysterious vision about the Estuary, and Fog accompanies her to check it out. A badger attacks them, kills Foxtail, and blinds Fog. Fog desperately asks the ancestors to give her the rest of his lives. They accept and save Foxtail. With his lives, she becomes the Teller of the Tribe.
As green-leaf blisters over the islands, tensions continue to catch flame. Anti-rogue sentiments rise in RedwoodClan. Restrictions are put on who can lead patrols and mentor the young. Apprentices and trusted warriors are asked to report any suspicious behavior or code-breakers.
Among the pines, Firstar forces his warriors into a fighting tournament to settle nest disputes and growing tension after the change in leadership. While in LichenClan, former loyalists begin to question Quickstar's new rules and reign. They begin to meet in secret.
In the Tribe, Foxtail starts to receive an influx of visions and share them with her Tribe-mates; though many question their legitimacy. As leaf-fall beckons, she brings her Tribe to the Gathering with an important message for the Clans.
REDWOODCLAN
Season 2019
Lichenclan retreats with the cold weather.Season 2020
Redwoodclan enters the winter with few senior warriors, due to the many skirmishes with Lichenclan. The clan falls into a starvation and loses more cats.
When the warm air arrives, Heatherstar loses her last life in the first border skirmish of the season. Finchstar becomes leader of the clan. Minkfur, a former kitty-pet, is elected as the new deputy.
The medicine cat Marsh-heart resigns, and his sister Orchidshade, a former warrior, takes his place.
Redwoodclan slowly regains its numbers as new kits turn into apprentices and the summer returns.
Skirmishes litter the summer months, as Redwoodclan and Lichenclan fight over the Mooncave territory.
Finchstar declares his attempt at peace negotiations during a clan meeting.
Finchstar and Minnowstar meet for an unsuccessful peace negotiation, and an official war is declared between the two clans.
Minkfur dies in a sudden mudslide/cave-in while on a border patrol near the Lichenclan caves. Redfox is declared as the next deputy of Redwoodclan.
Beneath the full moon at the falls, a tribe cat disrupts the Gathering and pleads for help. This is the first time the tribe cats and clan cats have interacted in centuries. Finchstar welcomes the tribe cat into Redwoodclan and promises to help him, while Minnowstar condemns the tom and demands her clan to leave.
The morning after the Gathering, Minnowstar sends Hemlockheart and a band of skilled warriors to attack Redwoodclan's camp and kill the tribe cat they've chosen to shelter. Hemlockheart retreats when he realizes that the tribe cat is no longer in their camp. Two warriors are killed and several are injured.Season 2021
At the same time as the attack, Finchstar and Orchidshade lead a patrol to the tribe in order to evaluate their sickness. While they are there, Orchidshade begins to treat the tribe cats but realizes she needs Lungwort since the severity of the green-cough has grown to yellow-cough. However, Lungwort only grows on Lichenclan territory.
After promising to help the tribe, Finchstar returns to camp only to find it bloodied and massacred after the attack. He faces civil unrest as his clan voices their concerns about the war and the tribe.
At the half-moon, Orchidshade and Ratwhisker are banned from the Mooncave, as Lichenclan has decided to claim it as their own. Orchidshade decides to ask Cinderface for the Lungwort, but she refuses. Briarpaw, however, decides to help and shows the other medicine cats where the Lungwort grows as Cinderface meets with Starclan.
Orchideshade and a band of Redwoodclan warriors try to cross Thistleclan territory to assist the tribe with the now possessed Lungwort, but a Thistlelcan patrol stops them and a battle breaks out.
Finchstar launches an attack on Lichenclan in an effort to retake the Mooncave. However, Lichenclan becomes victorious when Minnowstar takes Finchstar's first life, and the redwood warrior retreat.
Both Orchidshade and Smallpaw receive mysterious dreams from Starclan.
At the Gathering, Minnowstar refuses to come, so instead Hemlockheart arrives in her place. The rest of the Gathering is rather uneventful for the clan cats. However, Orchidshade discovers that all of the medicine cats have received a mysterious dream from Starclan. She also promises to assist Ratwhisker in his training.
In an attempt to make them stronger, Redfox calls the clan together and orders the senior warriors to train the other warriors in battle.
The senior warriors of Redwoodclan work to train the warriors and apprentices, while Finchstar mulls over the future of his clan, unsure of how to combat Lichenclan's violence.
A violent leaf-fall storm falls upon the island. While Redwoodclan is largely unaffected, save for some fallen trees, Redfox, Orchidshade, and a few warriors discover that the sandbar path has been destroyed due to excessive flooding, cutting them off from the tribe.
Orchidshade and Smallpaw meet with the other Medicine Cats in secret to discuss their mysterious dreams.
Before the season turns, Orchidshade discovers that some of her clan-mates have fallen ill. At first, she mistakes the disease for the usual, seasonal cold or flu. However, to her dismay, she quickly realizes Redwoodclan has been infected with the deadly tribe sickness, which results in the death of several warriors and apprentices.
Despite the cold, the new season starts with a border skirmish between Lichenclan and Redwoodclan, which results in the deaths on both sides.Season 2022
On a hunting patrol, Redfox loses her life protecting her clan-mates from a starved, ravenous fox. Gutted, Finchstar loses not only his deputy but his mate as well.
Icesong is appointed as the new deputy of Redwoodclan.
Smallpaw succumbs to the sickness, and Redwoodclan loses their medicine cat apprentice, leaving Orchidshade to face the disease alone.
In the wake of Smallpaw's death, a young, head-strong tom named Bouncepaw barges into Orchidshade's den and offers himself as her new apprentice. Orchidshade relunctantly decides to take him on.
As the new deputy, Icesong begins to train her warriors under a new battle regime, hoping to once and for all halt Lichenclan in their murderous tracks.
After moons of training, their efforts pay off when a secret, rebellion patrol from Lichenclan, consisting of Briarpaw and Shadowface, risks their lives to meet with Finchstar and Icesong. They warn the Redwoodclan leader's about Minnowstar's future attack.
As Briarpaw returns to Lichenclan, she suddenly hears Starclan call out to her. At the same time, both Orchidshade and Bouncepaw hear the same call. The three medicine cats work together to follow the mysterious voices into the tunnels, where they are visited by Starclan. All three cats receive trecherous omens.
Redwoodclan welcomes a tribe patrol who risked their lives to cross the sandbar to deliver an omen their teller received about the clans. Sunrise delivers the omen to both Finchstar and Icesong. The tribe cats choose to remain in Redwoodclan for a moon.
A moon after the rebellion's warning, Lichenclan attacks, hoping to infiltrate Redwoodclan's camp once again. However, Redwoodclan is ready and ambushes them from the trees above, for once having the clear advantage. A few tribe cats assist in battle as well. Finchstar is able to take one of Minnowstar's lives and wins the battle for Redwoodclan.
After the battle, Redwoodclan takes in their first Lichenclan refuge.
Confident after their win, Finchstar and Icesong trek to Thistleclan's camp at the Abandoned Campground to ask for an alliance. Thievinstar refuses.
During a leaf-fall Gathering, Redwoodclan witnesses Minnowstar banish a warrior in front of the falls for "sneezing." Finchstar takes the she-cat in as another refugee.
After being banished from their Clan, two LichenClan warriors join RedwoodClan as refugees.
As leaf-bare descends upon the island, Icesong convinces Finchstar to make an offensive attack on Lichenclan. Orchidshade advises them not to because of the omen sent to her by Starclan, fearing the battle will result in too many casualties.
Before the season closes, the medicine cats from each clan meet in secret at the lagoon, hidden under the falls, where Bouncepaw is finally accepted as an actual medicine cat's apprentice. Omens are delivered to each clan.
Despite receiving another omen from StarClan, Finchstar and Icesong continue to train for a counter-strike attack on LichenClan's camp.Season 2023
In preparation for the attack, Icesong approaches the refugees to gain information about LichenClan's camp.
Just at the cusp of leaf-bare's end, Icesong and a LichenClan refugee lead a battle patrol into the depths of LichenClan's shore and launch a raid on their camp. To their dismay, they discover LichenClan has sided with the rogues, and they are outnumbered. RedwoodClan is forced to retreat but not without deadly consequence. Many are slain in battle.
Icesong returns to camp barely conscious and awakes in the medicine cat's den under Orchidshade's care. They argue over the sign Orchidshade received as it was ignored by her leadership.
Finchstar learns of the rogues and asks his deputy if they should share the new, deadly alliance with ThistleClan. They ultimately agree to keep the information to themselves.
Patchstrike, one of the LichenClan refugees, intercepts Briarfall in the tunnels, where she warns him of another dangerous LichenClan attack. Unfortunately her knowledge is limited. She only knows they are targeting the refugees.
Near the end of new-leaf, LichenClan and the rogues launch another attack on their Clan during a wet, foggy night. With the rogues help, they're able to defeat Finchstar and take one of his lives.
Confidence shaken, Finchstar accompanies his medicine cats to the secret lagoon, where Heatherstar visits him in a dream, convincing the tom he's on the right path. Alongside her leader, Orchidshade gives Bouncepaw his medicine cat name, Bouncefire.
Icesong gives birth to her second litter after the death of her daughter and father of her kits. Instead of resuming her deputy duties, the she-cat agrees to divy up her responsibilities among the senior warriors.
An ominous red moon descends upon the island following LichenClan's attack. Fearing it's a sign, Finchstar decides to remain in camp instead of bringing his Clan to the Gathering.
Despite their harrowing loss, Finchstar and Icesong refuse to give into LichenClan and the rogues. They decide to speak with the LichenClan refugees in their camp and offer them permanent ranks within their Clan.
At the following Gathering, Finchstar learns LichenClan attacked ThistleClan's camp and killed Thievingstar. Using the opportunity, he devises a plan to meet with the newly named Stagstar, hopeful for an alliance.
On the cusp of leaf-fall, the LichenClan rebels rush a message to Finchstar and Icesong. They inform the leader that Minnowstar only has one life remaining. Finchstar and Icesong begin to devise an attack.
A moon later, Finchstar and Icesong meet Stagstar and Firfoot at the Sandy Creek, where they form an alliance, promising to avenge Thievingstar and put an end to the war.
With ThistleClan and the LichenClan rebels on their side, RedwoodClan launches an attack on LichenClan near the end of leaf-fall in the middle of the night. It is a gruesome, bloody battle, but Finchstar is able to stand his own against the rogues sent to kill him.
The aligned forces win the war against LichenClan and end the Heron-line once and for all with Minnowstar's death.
RedwoodClan enters the new season celebrating the lives of their fallen brethren, where Bouncefire lashes out at the clan. Orchidshade attends half-moon without him and receives a vague, dark vision. Tension between Orchidshade and Bouncefire continues to brew. Icesong returns the refugees back to LichenClan.Season 2024
The blizzard kicks a massive storm into the Redwood forests, and warriors are forbidden to leave camp. The tribe’s refugee teller, Fog, escapes from ThistleClan during the blizzard and is taken in by RedwoodClan.
Bouncefire leaves RedwoodClan and sets out on a solo journey. Orchidshade is left without a second medicine cat to brave the leaf-bare.
After Vega’s appearance at the gathering, Icesong is inspired by the message of the tunnel cats. Together, Icesong and Finchstar travel to the lagoon to meet with Vega. Icesong decides to join the tunnel cats.
New-leaf brings treacherous currents, and a great flood devastates the island. ThistleClan and LichenClan are forced from their homes and find refuge in RedwoodClan territory.
The leaders and deputies from each Clan come together to discuss new borders and rules during their temporary displacement. ThistleClan refuses to share resources and draws harsh territory lines at the Bear Stones.
Orchidshade takes Asterstorm as her new medicine cat apprentice. Together they attend half-moon, where they are unable to speak to Starclan because of the flooded lagoon. However, Lilacpaw has another message for Orchidshade. The apprentice tells Orchidshade of a hidden pool, beneath the earth. There the stars will talk to her.
Skeptical but destined to face her fate, Orchidshade travels solo. Underground she finds a mysterious voice and disappears following it. A search party is sent to find Orchidshade. They discover an empty tunnel filled with water and presume the medicine cat drowned. Asterstorm is left as the sole medicine cat of RedwoodClan.
Icesong leaves for the tunnels and Tigerpool is elected as RedwoodClan’s new deputy. LichenClan returns to their home while ThistleClan persists on Redwood Clan territory. Tensions grow as the new deputy is less tolerant of outsiders and senior warriors echo sentiments, worried that with leaf-bare, their territory will be spread thin.
Finchstar and Tigerpool go to the Bear Stones to ask Stagstar and Firfoot to vacate their land. ThistleClan refuses to leave, forcing RedwoodClan to consider deadlier alternatives. As tension intensifies, a stray rogue is found wandering on RedwoodClan land.
Asterstorm travels to the half-moon and is shocked to find Briarfall missing. She receives another troubling vision from StarClan. Orchidshade still does not make an appearance. She returns and takes on an eager apprentice, Blosstomstep.
During the leaf-bare Gathering, Stagstar declares the bear stones as belonging to ThistleClan. Finchstar immediately refutes this and RedwoodClan and ThistleClan struggle to maintain the truce.
Following the Gathering, Woodfrost confronts Finchstar and Tigerpool about ThistleClan, and they strategize a raid on the opposing Clan. RedwoodClan ends the season training for war.
RedwoodClan launches an unexpected raid on ThistleClan to reclaim Bear Stones and is victorious when ThistleClan calls a retreat.
Asterstorm takes Blossomstep to the lagoon for half-moon, where neither cat receives a vision, and the medicine cats are left questioning StarClan’s presence at the lagoon.
At the Gathering, Yarrowstar offers RedwoodClan his support but is declined by Finchstar. A heated argument breaks out between Finchstar and Stagstar. Clouds cover the moon and the Gathering ends abruptly.
Following the Gathering, RedwoodClan is attacked by ThistleClan, retaliating for Bear Stones. A group of rogues simultaneously intercept Tigerpool’s patrol. In the battle, Finchstar loses a life to Firfoot and is forced to retreat. ThistleClan reclaims Bear Stones once more.
After losing another life and Bear Stones, Finchstar calls a clan meeting. During the meeting, Tigerpool voices his concerns regarding the rogues after the attack, spiking tension within the clan.
Asterstorm goes to meet Lilacmist at the MoonCave during the half-moon, but Coyotecall confers with her instead. He informs Asterstorm of Lilacmist's death and warns her that he knows about her secret relationship with Reedtail, and if she continues she will lose her position.
Blossomstep meets with Meadowshine at the lagoon for half-moon, where once again StarClan is silent. She begins to wonder if she should go to the MoonCave instead.
Tigerpool takes out a patrol to go and investigate the rouges, suspicious of their relationship with ThistleClan. The patrols interrogates them for information but finds little.
At the next Gathering, Finchstar is surprised to find both Stagstar and Yarrowstar are no longer in their positions. Fog of the Tribe also announces his retirement. Initial thoughts of forming an alliance with LichenClan dissipate due to changes in leadership.
Anti-rogue and outsider sentiments rise in the Clan following some notable changes: Only full-blooded Redwood Clan warriors are asked to lead patrols and mentor apprentices.
Unable to connect with StarClan, Blossomstep goes to the MoonCave in secret for answers and meets Coyotecall. She's suspicious of his claims, but also fears that he's correct. Is she meant to be a medicine cat?
Terrified of Coyotecall's warning and losing her position, Asterstorm lies to Finchstar and Tigerpool and offers to go help train LichenClan's new medicine cat. She gives birth to her kits in secret instead.
Anti-rogues sentiments continue to rise in the Clan, and with it, Tigerpool calls upon the apprentices to help report any suspicious behavior or code-breakers to trusted warriors.
Blossomstep goes to the lagoon to commune with StarClan, where Asterstorm makes her first appearance after secretly giving birth to her kits.
Whitewhisker stumbles upon an injured kit and brings him back to RedwoodClan. The kit is secretly the rogue son of Poppy, who sent him to the Clan to spy.

THISTLECLAN
Season 2019
Near the start of the season, Yarrowfrost dies from old age and Ratwhisker becomes the sole medicine cat of Thistleclan.Season 2020
Froststar then follows, his death caused by untreated green-cough, and Thievingstar becomes the new leader of Thistleclan. She appoints Foxshade as her deputy.
Near the start of summer, the clan sees an odd increase in loner and rogue activity. Thievingstar addresses her concerns at a clan meeting.
A Thistleclan patrol then makes a strange encounter with a lone rogue near the northern cliffs.
The lone rogue reveals himself to be Curiosity, an ex-tribe member, who was banished for killing a tribe-mate. Now on the clan island, he moves into the abandoned campground and takes it as his own. He drives out Lily and her family, forcing them into the northern lands, far from Thistleclan.
The foxes return to the territory, however, it is unsure if they are related to the same foxes that had terrorized Thistleclan previously.
Another lone rogue is discovered in the forest and tensions rise within the clan.
Foxshade is mauled by a band of foxes. Her injuries are too severe for her to continue as deputy. Hawktail is elected as her successor.
Beneath the full moon at the falls, a tribe cat disrupts the Gathering and pleads for help. This is the first time the tribe cats and clan cats have interacted in centuries. Thievingstar distrusts the tribe cat and declares him a liar. She believes he is a rogue sent to play tricks. She then asks her clan to leave.
Ratwhisker receives a mysterious dream from Starclan, which he believes is for Thievingstar. However, she remains skeptical and dismisses it.Season 2021
Thievingstar and a band of Thistleclan warriors run into the same strange rogue from earlier. He demands passage through their territory, and when Thievingstar refuses, he orders his accomplice to break Mistpaw's leg. The patrol attacks but it is too late. Before, Curiosity leaves, he threatens Thievingstar and her clan.
Agitated, Thievingstar decides to hold a mass warrior ceremony and appoints seven new warriors at once. During this ceremony, she also announces her and Hawktail's decision to land lock the tribe, which will prevent Redwoodclan from passing through their territory.
At the half-moon, Ratwhisker and Orchidshade are banned from the Mooncave, as Lichenclan has decided to claim it as their own. Briarpaw, however, decides to help and shows the other medicine cats where the Lungwort grows as Cinderface meets with Starclan.
Redwoodclan tries to cross their territory to reach the sandbar. However, a Thistlelcan sentry spots them and warns Hawktail. She and a patrol quickly meet the Redwoodclan warriors. A battle ensues.
Curiosity continues to threaten Thievingstar and eventually kidnaps one of her apprentices, Nettlepaw, in an attempt to draw out to the abandoned campground. His plan works and he takes one of her lives and gravely injures the apprentice. He also reveals he used to belong to the tribe.
Hawktail orders a rescue patrol once Nettlepaw makes it back to camp barely alive. The patrol is met by three rogues, including Curiosity, and a fight ensues. Both Cederflame and Crowfrost lose their lives in battle, while Hawktail is horrendously injured as well. Blazingstorm and Harechaser are able, however, to safely take Thievingstar back to camp.
Paranoid, Thievingstar enacts a curfew on her clan. No one is allowed to leave camp alone, nor can they leave the bramble barrier from dusk to dawn.
Hawktail decides to step down as deputy due to the loss of her sister, friend, and her injuries. Firfoot takes her place.
Ratwhisker receives a mysterious dream from Starclan and learns at the Gathering that the other medicine cats have received similar dreams as well. Orchidshade also agrees to assist him in his training since he never finished it with his previous mentor, Yarrowfrost.
Mistrustful of the tribe, Thievingstar orders Firfoot to take a patrol across the sandbar to investigate the tribe. Thievingstar wants to threaten them. However, Firfoot returns without conflict, having decided that the tribe is harmless.
Out on patrol, a Thistleclan band discovers a group of young, Lichenclan warriors near the sandbar, who were sent to "destroy it" by Minnowstar. A battle ensues, and Thistleclan leaves the victor, having gravely injured a Lichenclan warrior.
A month of intense rainfall ends with a violent storm, which results in massive flooding. Thistleclan's camp is destroyed beyond repair, resulting in the deaths of few warriors and apprentices. In it's aftermath, Thievingstar demotes Firfoot out of frustration and anger.
Ratwhiskers meets with the other Medicine Cats in secret to discuss their mysterious dreams from Starclan.
Moving to higher ground, Thistleclan relocates to the Great Owl Tree, but the land is cold and unforgiving, providing no natural shelter. Stagflight, Froststar's grandson, is then promoted to deputy.
As they try to settle near the Great Owl Tree, sickness falls across the clan, killing a handful of their warriors and apprentices. Ratwhisker falls gravely ill, leaving a rogue, Aster, as their sole healer.
Unbeknownst to her clan, Thievingstar secretly gives birth to three kits on a patrol. The kits are given to Morningmist to raise as her own.
At the start of the new season, Stagflight sends a patrol to evaluate their old camp in hopes of rebuilding in new-leaf. When the patrol arrives, they discover that their home is infiltrated with rogues. A battle ensues.Season 2022
Ratwhisker passes due to the sickness, a single name on his dying lips, which leaves Thistleclan without a medicine cat.
Starving and sick, Thistleclan moves to the Abandoned Campground with the help of the healer, Aster. While at the campground, it is discovered that Shadepaw has a knack for healing, and the young tom is appointed as the new medicine cat of Thistleclan.
After moving into the campground, Yewthorn leads a patrol to check out their old camp, hoping the rogues have left. To their horror, a fight ensues and the rogues successfully drive Thistleclan out of their home.
Empowered to reclaim her home, Thievingstar finally ends the curfew and starts to train her warriors to take back their camp once warmer weather returns.
Unbeknownst to Thistleclan, however, Lily has returned from the outlands with her three children. Bent on revenge, she murders Curiosity in cold blood and claims the old Thistleclan camp as her own.
Wanting to carry on her mother's mission to terrorize Thistleclan, Lily sends her three children to the abandoned campground as she pays a personal visit to Thievingstar herself. However, the she-cat is disappointed to find the Thistleclan has no kits to steal.
Shortly after the attacks, Finchstar and Icesong journey to Thistleclan's makeshift camp to form an alliance against Lichenclan. Thievingstar denies their offer, not wanting to get involved in a war while the rogues claim her camp.
After the attacks on her camp, Thievingstar and Stagflight lead their warriors into battle before the dawn. They are successfully able to take back their camp and drive out the rogues.
Batterened and brurised, Lily and her rogues are forced to take refugee on the northern shores where resources are scarce.
Thistleclan begans the laborious task of rebuilding their camp, but for the first time since the flood, the air is joyful and sparked with newfound life.
In the dead of night, Shadepaw receives a visit from Thistleclan's former medicine cat, Yarrowfrost. The older medicine cat leads the young tom to a mysterious lagoon and tells him only the Dark Forest resides over Lichenclan now.
At a leaf-fall Gathering, Thistleclan witnesses as Minnowstar banishes a warrior for "sneezing." Thievingstar thinks the leader is ridiculous but does not intervene. Before leaving, she decides to warn Finchstar about Lily.
Lily's rogues are able to kidnap a Thistleclan kit after Birchsong, a Thistleclan queen, is betrayed by her rogue lover, who steals their child and hands her to Lily.
Thievingstar banishes Birchsong for endangering her child and engaging in a forbidden relationship with an enemy rogue.
Before the season closes, the medicine cats from each clan meet in secret at the lagoon, hidden under the falls, where Shadepaw finally receives his full medicine cat name. Omens are delivered to each clan.
After the kitnapping of one of their own, Thievingstar and Stagflight lead several patrols, intent on finding the lost kit and returning her home. But they only return each time empty-pawed.Season 2023
Unbeknowst to ThistleClan, Lily and her rogues, including Cedarkit, move from the northern reaches of the island to live on LichenClan territory instead. A dangerous alliance is formed between the blood-thirsty rogue and Minnowstar.
Shadepool receives a mysterious dream of a comforting meadow. He awakes, learning he must take on Meadowpaw as his medicine cat apprentice. She too also received a mysterious dream from StarClan.
ThistleClan continues to search for the lost kit as new-leaf arrives on the island, but with little luck. The rogues are no where to be seen.
During the end of new-leaf, and a particularly wet, foggy night, LichenClan and the rogues launch a deadly attack on the ThistleClan camp. Lily heads straight for the nursery, ignoring the LichenClan deputy's orders. Trying to protect her pregnant sister, Thievingstar rushes to defend the nursery, but is too late. Lily kills Squirreltail and then Thievingstar.
While waiting to receive her next life, StarClan presents Thievingstar with a final choice: she can either return to her Clan or she can give up the rest of her lives to save her sister and children. Thievingstar chooses to sacrifice her lives for her Clan and returns to the Stars.
Stagflight becomes the new leader of ThistleClan and accompanies his medicine cats to the secret lagoon to receive his nine lives and new names. While at the lagoon, Meadowpaw officially becomes a medicine cat apprentice and receives her first dream.
Stagstar appoints Firfoot as his deputy, who immediately puts the Clan under a strict training regime.
While preparing for his first Gathering as ThistleClan's leader, a blood moon rises above the island. Chilled, Stagstar orders his warriors to remain in camp.
Meadowpaw desperately tries to convince Firfoot to make an alliance with RedwoodClan, hopeful to put an end to the war.
During the Gathering following the blood moon, Stagstar announces Thievingstar's death and makes a pointed thread towards LichenClan. Finchstar secretly asks the tom to meet him in a moon.
On the cusp of leaf-fall, Stagstar and Firfoot meet Finchstar and Icesong at the Sandy Creek, where they decide to make a formal alliance and avenge Thievingstar's death.
As leaf-fall comes to an end, Stagstar and Firfoot lead their warriors onto the shore and attack LichenClan in the dead of the night. With the LichenClan rebels and RedwoodClan warriors on their side, they successfully seize their territory and win the war with Minnowstar's death, but not without consequences.
Stagstar loses his first life in a deadly battle with Lily, who then uses the opportunity to escape into the northern territories with Hawthorn and Poppy. Enraged, Firfoot kills Oleander, where he is left to die on the shore.
Furious over his brother's needless death, Hawthorn confronts Lily as they reach the northern territories and attacks her. They grapple visciously, the battle only ending with Lily's death. Poppy witnesses the attack, and then goes after Hawthorn in a rage. She kills her brother, becoming the only sole survivor of Lily's reign.
ThistleClan enters the new season honoring their dead and preparing for the gruesome leaf-bare to come. As part of their preparations, Stagstar and Firfoot interrogate their prisoner, Fog, the ousted Teller from the Tribe, hoping to secure an alliance. Shadepool and Meadowpaw return from the half-moon with troubling visions.Season 2024
A blizzard strikes the pine forest during the height of leaf-bare. They are barred from leaving camp, but Fog uses it as an opportunity to escape and hopes for an alliance dwindle. They discover at the following Gathering that RedwoodClan took him in as a refugee.
Out in rogue territory, Poppy gathers what remains of her mother's rogues and any wandering souls to join her new group: Celandine.
With the arrival of new-leaf, a flood devastates the island and pushes ThistleClan once more from their home. They are forced to find refuge in RedwoodClan territory. Many of their warriors and apprentices are washed away into rogue territory—straight into Poppy's paws.
The leaders and deputies from each Clan come together to discuss new borders and rules during their temporary displacement. ThistleClan refuses to share resources and draws harsh territory lines at the Bear Stones.
Despite their leader's hostility towards the other Clans, Shadepool and Meadowpaw travel deeper into RedwoodClan to meet with the other medicine cats. They are unable to speak with StarClan with the lagoon flooded.
At the Gathering, ThistleClan is unnerved by Fog's announcement. They adamantly refuse to share with the other Clans and stick to their borders. Tensions crackle, though clouds do not threaten the moon.
As green-leaf persists, ThistleClan is still unable to return home. Most of their territory remains underwater, particularly their camp. Even as the flood recedes, they fear they can lose their camp and land again. Stagstar and Firfoot discuss faking a sign to keep the Bear Stones for themselves.
Shadepool and Meadowpaw journey to the lagoon. They are startled to find Orchidshade missing, and Asterstorm in her place. Again, they receive troubling dreams from StarClan—threats of war lingering on the horizon. Stagstar and Firfoot catch them on the return, hopeful for a sign they can use.
As leaf-fall returns to the island, Stagstar announces the devastating condition of ThistleClan's land at the Gathering. However, boasts about their strength in response to Finchstar's lingering threat. Hostility rises between RedwoodClan and ThistleClan.
Following the Gathering, Stagstar and Firfoot meet with Finchstar and Tigerpool and RedwoodClan asks for them to leave. ThistleClan refuses, stating it's their StarClan given right to occupy the stones. As tension thickens, Poppy sends her spymaster, Leopardface, to take advantage of the distraction and gather information.
Shadepool and Meadowpaw travel to the half-moon and are shocked to find Briarfall missing. A voice cries out to Shadepool during his dream, while Meadowpaw receives a warning about the MoonCave. When they return home, Shadepools hears the voice again, and they go to the MoonCave together to help them. Shadepool mysteriously disappears, and while trying to find him, Meadowpaw runs into Lilacpaw, but she does not help her.
During the leaf-bare Gathering, Stagstar declares the bear stones as belonging to ThistleClan. Finchstar refutes this and RedwoodClan and ThistleClan struggle to maintain the truce. Without a camp, ThistleClan ends the season refusing to leave the Bear Stones.
After initially claiming Bear Stones, ThistleClan wakes to an unexpected raid on their camp. They lose custody of Bear Stones and vacate to their own territory. In the fight, Tawnyfire, Stagstar’s daughter, is killed.
Unknown to the rest of the clan, including Stagstar, Firfoot travels to the Abandoned Campground to meet with Poppy at her request. There, they strike a deal where Poppy offers the aid of her rogues to ThistleClan in the upcoming battle, and Firfotfoot offers for the rogues to make use of ThistleClan’s land.
After Shadepool’s disappearance, Meadowpaw begs Stagstar to help search for him. He ignores her and promotes her to a full medicine cat adorning the name: Meadowthorn. Meadowpaw refuses and leaves angrily.
A moon later, Meadowpaw leaves to attend the half-moon and begs StarClan for answers. She is named Meadowshine, but receives no news of Shadepool. Lilacmist tells them StarClan has abandoned the lagoon, and they must go to the MoonCave instead. Meadowshine refuses to join her.
During the Gathering, Stagstar and Finchstar get into a heated argument over the Bear Stones. Yarrowstar admonishes them and calls the Gathering to a close as clouds cover the moon.
After the Gathering, ThistleClan launches a retaliation attack on RedwoodClan, and Firfoot takes one of Finchstar’s lives during the battle, securing the win for ThistleClan, while a group of rogues attack an unsuspecting RedwoodClan patrol, helping ThistleClan win.
Suspicious about ThistleClan's win, Stagstar confronts Firfoot about the battle and threatens to replace him. Firfoot challenges Stagstar to a duel and wins, forcing Stagstar to retreat. Per ThistleClan tradition, Firfoot becomes the new leader of ThistleClan.
Due to his injuries, Firfoot passes out and receives a disturbing dream from StarClan. He awakes confused in Meadowshine's den. He is unsure if Stagstar's former lives have passed down to him or not, but he announces his leadership regardless and announces Blazingstorm as his deputy.
Meadowsine attends the half-moon, where only Blossomstep makes an appearance. Asterstorm chooses to go to the MoonCave instead with Lilacmist. While Blossomstep doesn't receive a dream, Meadowshine hears a voice calling to her and is convinced it's Shadepool.
Firstar brings ThistleClan to the Gathering for the first time as leader. Finchstar challenges his new position. Firstar refutes him and the Gathering comes to another tense end.
After the Gathering, Firstar travels to the lagoon to confirm his new position and receive the rest of his lives, but the tunnel cats refuse to let him near the lagoon due to his transgressions. A fight breaks out and Firstar loses the rest of his sight, while Icesong loses the ability to speak. Firstar stumbles into the lagoon and receives another disturbing dream.
After fulfilling his position for a moon, Blazingstorm finally confronts Firstar about his secret deal with the rogues. A tense conversation ensues as they agree to stay out of each other's business.
As nest disputes and tension rises in the Clan, Firstar enacts an old, ThistleClan tradition and enlists all of his warriors into a fighting tournament. Winners move up in rank and secure the best nests.
Meadowshines attends the half-moon with the other medicine cats, desperate for more answers about Shadepool.
Poppy meets with Firstar in secret and asks him to take and train her son, Grasshopper.

LICHENCLAN
Season 2019
With the cold weather, Lichenclan retreats and leaves Redwoodclan alone for awhile.Season 2020
The nervous Finchstar becomes leader of Redwoodclan, and Minnowstar uses his meek nature to her advantage. When the warmth returns to the island, she launches heavier attacks on the forest cats for the Mooncave.
In the late summer, Minnowstar calls a clan meeting and warns her warriors to prepare for war with Redwoodclan.
A bloody skirmish occurs between Lichenclan and Redwoodclan on the southern border.
Redwoodclan attempts to make peace with Lichenclan, however, Minnowstar refuses and war is officially declared between the clans.
Beneath the full at the falls, a tribe cat disrupts the Gathering and pleads for help. This is the first time the tribe cats and clan cats have interacted in centuries. Minnowstar condemns the tribe cat and demands her clan to leave, while Finchstar welcomes to tribe cat into Redwoodclan.
Minnowstar then orders Hemlockheart to attack the Redwoodclan camp at dawn.
The morning after the Gathering, Minnowstar sends Hemlockheart and a band of skilled warriors to attack Redwoodclan's camp and kill the tribe cat they've chosen to shelter. Hemlockheart retreats when he realizes that the tribe cat is no longer in their camp. Few Lichenclan warriors suffer from serious wounds.Season 2021
At the same time, Minnowstar condemns the warriors that conversed with Redwoodclan warriors during the Gathering. She sends Shadowface to the front lines of battle, delays Redpaw's warrior ceremony, and make Quickstrike bathe in the Mooncave. Cinderface and Briarpaw accompany the warriors, and Briarpaw receives a mysterious vision from Starclan.
Hemlockheart sends three warriors to guard the Mooncave from the other medicine cats during the Half-Moon. Orchidshade and Ratwhisker are not allowed to enter, and only Cinderface receives a dream from Starclan, as Briarpaw is sent away due to her disobedience. Angered, Briarpaw chases after Ratwhisker and Orchidshade and offers to assist them.
Nightclaw is sent on his first hunting patrol since his punishment last season. While he is on patrol, Lavenderpaw pulls him aside to talk about forming a rebellion. Shadowface overhears their conversation.
Hemlockheart and Minnowstar take a band of Lichenclan warriors to the cliffs to test their battle prowess and loyalty. Their lesson is interruptted when Slatestep, as ex-Thistleclan warrior, stumbles into their territory.
Minnowstar interrogates Slatestep in the tunnels, as he is now her prisoner. He promises her information on Redwoodclan and tries to win her trust.
Redwoodclan launches an attack on Lichenclan to take back the Mooncave. However, Lichenclan is able to maintain order over the cave and wins the battle when Minnowstar takes Finchstar's first life. Redwoodclan retreats.
During the attack, Lavendermist and Nightclaw meet to discuss their ideas for the rebellion. To their surprise, they are joined by Quickstrike, Shadowface, and Briarpaw. They all agree to recruit more cats for their cause.
Hours after the battle, Minnowstar promotes six new warriors to celebrate their victory.
Cinderface shares her ominous dream with Minnowstar, which terrifies to the she-cat to her core.
Minnowstar informs Hemlockheart that she does not want to attend the Gathering. Instead, she wants to lead the clan in mass confession as she feels the other clans want her dead. Hemlockheart refuses to appease her, and instead, offers to take the clan in her place.
Briarpaw receives a mysterious dream from Starclan and shares it with Lavendermist.
Hemlockheart attends the Gathering without Minnowstar and Cinderface. Other than this, the Gathering is rather uneventful. Briarpaw, howver, does learn that all of the medicine cats have received mysterious dreams from Starclan.
While Hemlockheart attends the Gathering with the rest of her clan, Minnowstar and Cinderface lead the other half of the clan in mass confession.
To test his loyalty, Minnowstar leads Hemlockheart in confession, a burning request on her tongue.
Minnowstar calls a war council with her most trusted warriors and orders them to explore the underground tunnels, which will hopefully aid them in an attack on Redwoodclan.
Riverblaze overhears a secret conversation about the rebellion between Lavendermist and his brother, Creekshade. He then shares this information with Minnowstar, who does not want to believe it.
Mistrustful of the tribe, Minnowstar orders a patrol of her newest warriors to investigate the sandbar in hopes they can somehow "destroy it." A Thistleclan catches them instead, which results in a battle. Riverblaze is gravely injured and later dies from his wounds.
Enraged, Minnowstar performs a sacrifice with her Medicine Cats at the Mooncave. During the sacred ceremony, she asks for a plague to be called upon Thistleclan. Shortly after, a violent storm descends across the island and destroyed Thistleclan's camp and the sandbar, cutting the tribe off from the clan cats.
Cinderface and Briarpaw prepare to go to the Mooncave alone for the half-moon. However, Briarpaw deceives her mentor, and instead, meets with the other Medicine Cats in secret.
As the season winds down, Minnowstar grows uneasy, knowing that she may not be able to continue the heron line, especially with Cinderface's ominous omen.
With the new season comes sickness. However, with an abundant supply of lungwort, Lichenclan is able to easily combat the disease, resulting in few deaths.Season 2022
Hemlockheart discovers Nightclaw near the Redwoodclan and Thistleclan border and accuses him of trechory. Enraged, the deputy challenges him and a fight ensues. Nightclaw is chased into rogue territory, but not without receiving horrible wounds. Equally injured, Hemlockheart's scent is last detected near the Redwoodclan border, and he is never found again.
Both of Hemlockheart and Nightclaw's fur and blood are discovered the next morning by the dawn patrol. Confused, Lichenclan belives they were killed in a border skirmish. However, due to extreme paranoia, Minnowstar believes that Nightclaw killed her deputy, and that a secret rebellion is plotting her death as well. Her suspisions of her clan-mates continue.
Bristlefur is appointed as the new deputy of Lichenclan.
As the new deputy, Bristlefur continues Hemlockheart's rigid battle regime and orders his warriors to train in preparation of their attack on Redwoodclan.
In the shadows, the rebellion meets for the first time since their recruitment efforts. A number of Lichenclan warriors attend the meeting, bolstering the rebellion's size. From the shadows, Nightclaw returns and reveals himself to still be alive. With his support, they plan to inform Redwoodclan of Minnowstar's battle plans and Quickstrike is appointed as their new leader.
Briarpaw, Shadowface, and Quickstrike volunteer to risk their lives and warn Redwoodclan about Minnowstar's battle plans. Briarfall and Quickstrike return to camp unharmed, but Minnowstar catches Shadowface and murders her in cold blood. She returns to Lichenclan and announces Shadowface was killed at the Redwoodclan border.
As Briarpaw starts to head back to Lichenclan, she hears the mysterious voice of Starclan calling out to her. Startled, she returns to Redwoodclan and joins Orchidshade and Bouncepaw as they try to discover the source of the voice in the tunnels.
Terrified of dying without a heir, Minnowstar does the unthinkable and chooses to have kits with her prisoner, Slatestep, an ex-Thistleclan warrior in secret.
Newly pregnant, Minnowstar is awoken by a startled Cinderface and Briarpaw in her den. Cinderface tries to warn her about the danger of her pregnancy based on a dream she received from Starclan. Outraged, Minnowstar accuses her of insanity and demotes her. Briarpaw is named Briarfall and elected as the new medicine cat of Lichenclan.
Minnowstar births her kits in secret and forces them upon one of her warriors, Cricketcall, to raise as her own with Bristlefur. She threatens to kill both Cricketcall and Briarfall if they ever reveal her secret.
Unaware of the rebellion's efforts, Minnowstar chooses to lead an attack on Redwoodclan's camp. However, Redwoodclan is prepared and ambushes them from the trees. Finchstar uses the redwood trees to his advantage and takes one of Minnowstar's lives. Lichenclan loses the battle.
During the attack, Bristlefur is forced to remain back at camp, where he catches a defector.
Minnowstar becomes even more of a recluse after her loss and refuses to perform her duties as leader, such as performing warrior ceremonies.
After Bristlefur nearly drags her out of her den, Minnowstar arrives to a leaf-fall Gathering late. She uses the opportunity to launch a tirade on the other clan and then banishes one of her wariors for "sneezing." Minnowstar claims she is a heathen filled with evils from the Dark Forest.
After the Gathering, the rebellion meets again in secret so Quickstrike can deliver their next move. It is decided that some rebels must give up their names in order to protect their cause, knowing Minnowstar killed Shadowface.
Convinced traitors live among her clan, Minnowstar forces her warriors into a mass confession and punishes them for their sins, claiming she is the voice of Starclan. The punishments vary, some cats receiving harsher sentences than others.
The banished LichenClan warriors flee to the tunnels, where some choose to live secretly among the caves, and others leave for RedwoodClan territory.
Before the season closes, the medicine cats from each clan meet in secret at the lagoon, hidden under the falls. Omens are delivered to each clan.
Angry by her recent actions at the Gathering, Bristlefur storms into Minnowstars den to chastise her. They bicker for awhile until Bristlefur begrudingly leaves, but not without informing Minnowstar of the return of an old aquaintance, Lily.Season 2023
Sparked by an old memory, Minnowstar seeks the rogue out and finds her in the middle of a snowstorm. They strike a deal based on old, unpaid debts. For safe shelter and food, Lily agrees to kill Finchstar in cold blood.
Minnowstar secretly leads the rogues into LichenClan territory. Knowing her warriors will find fault with their arrival, the leader coerces Briarfall into forging a sign, saying the rogues were sent by StarClan themselves. However, they instead find the water-logged corpse of Cinderface floating in the MoonCave instead.
Despite the ominous warning, Minnowstar announces the arrival of the rogues to her Clan. Begrudingly her warriors accept the rogues into their ranks, but even her most loyal warriors have doubts.
A few nights after the rogues arrival, RedwoodClan attacks their camp just after moon-high. With the rogue's assistance, LichenClan is just able to drive them out into the shore and claim victory. Minnowstar learns that RedwoodClan is harboring some of her old warriors as refugees.
Enraged, Minnowstar calls Lily to her den and orders the rogue to launch an upcoming attack on RedwoodClan. However, Lily is able to convince the deranged leader to attack ThistleClan as well, claiming Thievingstar is also harboring refugees. Minnowstar begrudgingly agrees.
Minnowstar calls her most loyal warriors to strategize her next attack on RedwoodClan, keeping the ThistleClan attack to herself. During the meeting, some of her loyalists suggest they should start interrogating their warriors to test their faith.
Quickstrike, who was invited to the loyalist meeting, relays this to Briarfall, who then runs a warning message to RedwoodClan. She is intercepted by Patchstrike, a former LichenClan warrior, now turned refugee, and informs him of what she knows, which is not a lot.
Two exiled, LichenClan warriors are discovered by a strange group of cats beneath the island. They claim to be descendants of Clan cats and believers in StarClan. They are brought back to their home, far beneath the island, and introduced to their leader, Vega.
During a wet, foggy night, Minnowstar sends two patrols out into the forest. Hawthorn and his sister, Poppy, lead a patrol into RedwoodClan camp with her loyalists. While Bristlefur and Lily lead an attack on ThistleClan.
After winning the battle, Minnowstar allows the rogues to enter her camp and rewards them with the same priveleges of her warriors. The Clan is on edge, even her most devoted loyalists start to question her sanity.
A blood moon ascends over the island following the death of Thievingstar and the taking of one of Finchstar's lives. Convinced it is an omen, Minnowstar urges Briarstar to the MoonCave and forces the medicine cat to lead her through confession, where she reveals she only has one remaining life.
Briarfall receives a concerning sign from StarClan, only to wake in the middle of the night to find a troubled Lilacpaw beside her nest. The medicine cat believes the young she-cat is meant to become her apprentice, so she convenes with StarClan to confirm her hunch.
Lilacpaw becomes the new medicine cat apprentice of LichenClan.
Briarfall finds Quickstrike and together they race into the tunnels and share the news with Finchstar and Icesong, urging them to take action against Minnowstar.
Enraged by the rogues within their camp, Bristlefur confronts Minnowstar alone in her den. The she-cat denounces him as a traitor and exiles him from their shores. She then lies to her Clan and claims the tom is missing and refuses to appoint a deputy until he is "found."
Lily uses this as an opportunity to get more power within LichenClan and acts as Minnowstar's unofficial deputy, which only enrages the loyalists more.
Following the blood moon, Minnowstar relunctantly goes to the Gathering and very quickly denounces the other two Clans as sinful heathens before leaving.
After learning about the cats in the tunnels, Quickstrike convinces Vega and his family to join them in the war against Minnowstar and her reign of terror.
Losing her sanity, Minnowstar refuses to leave her den. She only leaves to promise absolution to her remaining loyalists and swears them to servitude.
Minnowstar goes to the medicine cat's den for poppy seeds, where she instead comes face to face with a troubled Lilacpaw. The leader convinces the young apprentice to face her fears and discover StarClan's forbidden secrets.
Near the end of leaf-fall, RedwoodClan attacks the MoonCave, summoning the LichenClan warriors to battle, but as they leave their caves, they suddenly realize that their camp and shores are also under attack. ThistleClan storms the shoreline, while the rebels attack their own home and Vega and his family secure the tunnels.
Lily uses the battle as an opportunity to escape the Clans and go back into hiding, but as she reaches the northern territories, Hawthorn stops her. Enraged by his Oleander's death, he kills his own mother. Witnessing the murder, Poppy turns on her brother and kills him. Unbeknowst to the Clans, Poppy returns to the northern territory.
Holed in her den, Minnowstar only joins the battle to kill Patchstrike, a rebel, and escapes to the tunnels. Quickstrike makes haste to follow, but is horrifically injured by the crazed she-cat. Yarrow, formally Hemlockheart, appears at the end of the tunnel. Together they face Minnowstar and kill her, ending the Heron-reign once and for all, and securing victory for the war.
LichenClan enters the season under new leadership. After slaying Minnowstar, Yarrow journeys to the lagoon to receive his nine lives and new name. Quickstrike is chosen as his new deputy. They honor their fallen with a ceremony at the MoonCave.Season 2024
Yarrowstar and Quickstrike identify the remaining loyalists and lead them through a confession, giving Minnowstar's former supporters a chance to be exonerated. Icesong brings a former LichenClan refugee back to their camp and converses with Yarrwostar.
Briarfall and Lilacpaw journey to the lagoon, where Briarfall receives a disturbing vision from StarClan, warning her of something evil lurking in the MoonCave, while Lilacpaw shares a sinister vision with Orchidshade.
A devastating blizzard strikes the shoreline, trapping the LichenClanners within the safety of their Caves. Once the storm settles and new-leaf persists, Yarrowstar brings his warriors to the Gathering and announces the MoonCave as neutral land, inviting other Clans to use it—despite Briarfall's growing concerns.
As the weather warms, a disastrous flood hits the mainland, forcing LichenClan out of their caves and into the Birch Forest. Once the chaos settles, Yarrowstar meets with the other leaders and Quickstrikes chats with the deputies. RedwoodCland and LichenClan decide to pool together resources and open their borders, while ThistleClan remains hostile.
Before the half-moon, Lilacpaw is summoned to the MoonCave and receives a mysterious message from Coyotecall. She then journeys with Briarfall to meet with the other medicine cats. They are unable to speak with StarClan with the lagoon flooded, but Lilacpaw shares her message with Orchidshade.
At the Gathering, Yarrowstar strengthens his alliance with Finchstar by thanking them for their hospitality. He also announces the creation of the LichenClan council—a committee to help restore peace and balance. Shortly after, they return home to their shores, no longer needing RedwoodClan's help.
Barred from the council, Lilacpaw angrily requests membership to a distraught Briarfall. They then attend the half-moon, where they discover Orchidshade is missing. Briarfall wakes after her ominous vision to find Lilacpaw missing, who has left to speak with Coyotecall. Briarfall confronts her.
Sensing tension, Yarrowstar reminds the other Clans about LichenClan's commitment to peace at the Gathering.
A mysterious rogue is found wandering LichenClan's shores.
Under Coyotecall's guidance, Lilacpaw discovers that Briarfall is pregnant and confronts her. Ashamed, Briarfall runs from LichenClan and into the tunnels. Lilacpaw goes to Coyotecall, where he names her the next medicine cat of LichenClan and bathes her in blood.
Lilacmist attends the half-moon and lies about Briarfall's whereabouts and how she received her new name. She receives a final plea from StarClan but ignores it. She returns to LichenClan, informs Yarrowstar of Briarfall's treachery, and asks to join the council. Despite this, Quickstrike leads a search party for Briarfall, but she cannot be found.
At the leaf-bare Gathering, RedwoodClan and ThistleClan get into a border dispute, forcing Yarrowstar to mediate. He reminds them about peace and welcomes the Tribe and tunnel cats to the falls, where Icesong invites the apprentices to train with them in the tunnels.
As a new season begins, Yarrowstar summons the council to discuss Briarfall's mysterious disappearance and the state of the MoonCave. Despite Briarfall's final warning, the MoonCave remains open and Lilacmist joins the council in her place.
Lilacmist attends the half-moon at the lagoon, and tries to convince the other medicine cats to join her at the MoonCave instead. Only Asterstorm agrees.
LichenClan attends the Gathering, and Yarrowstar mediates another argument between Stagstar and Finchstar. Clouds threaten the moon, and he calls the Gathering to a close.
Desperate to find Briarfall, Yarrowstar, Quickstrike, and Lavendermist journey into the tunnels in search of her, but lose their leader instead. Yarrowstar plummets into the depths of the tunnels and is never seen again.
Quickstrike returns as the leader of LichenClan and announces Yarrowstar's disappearance. Out of concern, he posts guards at the tunnels and MoonCave, and also adds Lilacmist and Deadeye to the council. His decisions anger the former loyalists in the Clan.
Lilacmist awakes to Coyotecall summoning her to the lagoon. He tries to use her to gain access to StarClan, but Lilacmist's former mentor from another life, Honeyfern saves her instead. Lilacmist drowns in the lagoon but is able to find StarClan's light in death.
While journeying to receive his nine lives, Quickstrike and Emberscorch stumble upon Lilacmist's body floating in the lagoon. Quickstrike gains his nine lives, new name, and a warning from StarClan: something evil is lurking in the tunnels.
Emberscorch is elected as Quickstar's deputy.
Without a medicine cat, LichenClan is forced to rely on shared herb and old queen knowledge to heal their Clan.
LichenClan attends the Gathering, where it is announced that Firstar now leads ThistleClan and Foxtail leads the Tribe. Finchstar questions the legitimacy of Firstar's new position, and the Gathering ends tensely.
Quickstar summons the council, including its new member, Ghostface. New rules are enacted: non-nursing queens must patrol once a week, the MoonCave is to remain guarded, and any cats openly rebelling against him will eat last. Deadeye and Ghostface are upset with the changes but remain cordial.
Emberscorch orders an old traditionalist queen, Caveflower, on a patrol, where she stumbles off of a cliff-side, only to be cushioned by a field of foxglove flowers. She is convinced her daughter, Foxglovefire, is the next medicine cat of LichenClan.
Without another sign from StarClan, Foxglovefire is appointed as LichenClan's new medicine cat and attends the half-moon at the lagoon.
Concerned about LichenClan's future, Deadeye summons the former traditionalists in the Clans and holds a meeting outside of camp.
After missing for a year, Leopardface returns to LichenClan with a mysterious rogue kit. He is the secret son of Poppy.
THE TRIBE OF FLOATING STONES
Season 2019
The sickness continues into the new season, and as the warmer air arrives, Rain dies with it. Her unexpected death leaves Creek as the new teller.Season 2020
As the sickness leaves, the tribe slowly recovers and enters the summer months ready to rebuild.
Toward the end of summer, new to-bes are welcomed into the tribe as full tribe members.
On a recent prey-hunter trek, Creek discovers the herbs have been destroyed and did not regrow over the summer.
However, as the cold weather returns, the same sickness spreads across the tribe and infects them in deadly numbers. A cure has yet to be discovered.
Creek loses his first life to the sickness and delivers an omen to n adolescent to-be, Hemlock. The omen sends Hemlock on a trek across a hidden sandbar and to another island. There he meets the clan cats for the first time in centuries.
Hemlock brings the Redwoodclan warriors back to the tribe, and their medicine cat, Orchidshade, treats them with her limited supply of cat-mint. The island is ravaged by a severe thunderstorm in the middle of the night, so Talon takes a patrol of stone-guards to clean up and rebuiled the island.

Orchidshade teaches Iris, the teller's sister, how to tend and care for the lungwort, so they can grow it themselves.
A band of stone-guards patrol the island in an effort to combat coyote numbers after a bountiful pup season.
A Thistleclan patrol is sent across the sandbar to threaten the tribe. However, Firfoot, the patrol leader, realizes quickly that the tribe is harmless.
During late leaf-fall, a violent storm descends upon the island, completely destroying the sandbar path. The tribe is once again cut off from the clan cats.
Before the season ends, a second wave of sickness falls upon the tribe. However, with the lungwort given to them by Redwoodclan, the tribe is able to combat it with few deaths.
Across the lake, the tribe enters the new season recovering from the sickness, and with the sandbar completely underwater, they are alone.Season 2022
The tribe holds a communal funeral to commemorate the tribe-mates they lost over the harsh leaf-bare. Before the ceremony begins, however, Creek receives a disturbing dream about his friends across the lake.
Inferring that his dream is about Redwoodclan, Creek decides to send a patrol of stone-guards and prey-hunters across the destroyed sandbar, lead by his head-prey-hunter, Sunrise, so they can warn them about his dream.
Sunrise leads the patrol across the lake, consisting of strong swimmers, and is met by a Redwoodclan patrol on the other side. They are taken back to their camp so they can meet with Finchstar.
Unbeknowst to the tribe patrol, however, Creek suddenly dies after the patrol is sent off. Talon discovers him at the tribe stone and hears his final, ominous words. Disturbed, Talon must call together the tribe to announce his death as a heavy fog descends upon the island.
Back on the clan island, Fog starts to receive ominous dreams from Creek, not knowing that his teller is now dead and that the Tribe of Endless Hunting is summoning him to take his place.
Indebted to Redwoodclan, the tribe patrol decides to stay with the clan for a few more sunrises, and Sunrise and Fog both offer to help them fight in the war against Lichenclan.
On the tribe island, a dense fog has covered the land since Creek's mysterious death, making it impossible to find prey, despite the green-leaf weather.
Blackbird is sent to lead a patrol of stone-guards to try and find resources in the northern forest. Unbeknowst to the patrol, a pack of hungry coyotes lurk in the shadows.
Starving, coyotes start to descend upon the tribe cats, attacking them in hopes of a quick and easy meal.
After assiting Redwoodclan in the battle, the tribe patrol returns to home, only to discover the death of their teller, Creek. Fog learns he must become the new teller on his own.
Fog announces his leadership to the tribe and makes the journery to the Stone that Never Ends to receive his four lives. His leadership is met with mixed reviews.
As the season comes to a close and the tribe enters another winter of starvation and unease, dissent starts to unfold within its ranks.
Starvation inches across the tribe island, only worsened by the piling snow and frigid frosts. The tribe cats are also not the only starving animals on the island, but a group of coyotes, strengthened by a heavy pup boon last green-leaf, start encroaching on the tribe cats, killing them as prey.Season 2023
Fog struggles to gain footing as the new young and inexperienced teller. Many are lost to sickness and coyote attacks during the start of leaf-bare.
Sumac, a long-standing prey-hunter who is wildly respecting, starts casting his disbeliefs upon his tribe-mates, growing weary of Fog's capabilities as his leader. Many are skeptical, but as the tribe's conditions worsen, they start to believe him.
Despite the growing dissent against him, Fog recruits Sunrise and Flame to scout the northern territories, hopeful they can find a way to drive the coyotes from their land and put an end to their ruthless killings.
While Fog is scouting the north, Sumac uses it as an opportunity to climb upon the ancient tribe stone and summon the tribe to him. On the stones, he spreads his message, casting further dissent upon his tribe-mates. He believes Fog is not the rightful teller. Talon must escort him from the stone.
Desperate to prove himself, Fog devises a plan to rid the coyotes from the island, using prescious prey to lead the coyotes to their ultimate demise. But at the last second, the winds shifts and the coyotes descend upon his tribe-mates. A ruthless battle for their lives ensues.
A blood moon ascends over the tribe island following the failed attempt to rid the island of the coyotes. Many tribe-mates see it as a bad omen, a terrible sign of Fog's failing leadership.
Following the blood moon, Sumac calls a meeting for his followers, where he announces his plan to ask Fog to step down as Teller and take his place. Many eagerly await his rise to power.
Near the height of summer, a catastrophic storm strikes the moorland, it's grasses already dried from the drought. Fire catches and decimates the island. Many lives are lost to the flames, including Fog's, whose body is lost to the lake.
Sumac rises from the ashes to take his place as the new Teller of the Tribe of Floating Stones, but his leadership is met with mixed reactions as he introduces strict rules to ensure the tribe's future over the upcoming leaf-bare.
Unbeknowst to his Tribe, Fog washes ashore confused and disorientated on ThistleClan's shores, where a patrol finds him and takes him back to camp.
Under Sumac's new rule, many tribe-mates push their luck by stealing prey without permission, feeding their guard friends, or by challenging Sumac's. Varying punishments are dealt to keep the tribe in line in an effort to survive the winter.
To prove his place as the rightful Teller, Sumac travels to the Stone that Never Ends to receive his four lives from the Tribe of Endless Hunting.
After declaring his position as the ‘rightful teller’, Sumac journeys with Talon and Sunrise to the Stone that Never Ends to receive nine lives. He is denied by the Tribe of Endless Life.Season 2024
The tribe is hit with the same blizzard that blighted the islands, and on a patrol in search for food, Sumac leads Sun, Rain, and Icicle into the raging storm. The cats become lost and separated. Sun dies in the cold. Imprisoned in ThistleClan, Fog uses the storm to escape to his friends in RedwoodClan.
Tension grows in the tribe as Stone-Guards are forced to adopt two roles, working as both Stone-Guards and hunting for the clan. Doubling down on rules, Sumac enforces his expectations with a new and terrifying vigor. Tribe mates who contest are punished, sent to solitary confinement. Sumac demotes Talon and elects Laurel.
When the floods hits, the tribe is not as affected. The mainland avoids rising waters while the floating isles are completely or partially underwater. The prisoners at Rock Where All Wounds Heal search for higher land. More cats are banished into isolation. Meanwhile on the main island, Fog announces his plans to return to the tribe at their full-moon gathering, and begins the journey home.
Sumac goes to the isles to address a rising revolt. Gloom is murdered.
The sandbar reappears, bridging the tribe to the main island. Fog travels with Cardinal and Dewcloud. Together they go to the Tribe Stone to challenge Sumac for Fog's position as Teller. Sumac refuses to step down and attempts to take Fog's life. Sunrise intercepts his attack and kills Sumac. Fog returns to his role as Teller of the Tribe and reinstates Talon as head stone-guard.
Fog releases the prisoners from the isles and begins rebuilding the Tribe. He announces his intentions to strengthen relations with the mainland and the Tribe attends their first Gathering.
The Tribe ends the season celebrating the solstice, a long-forgotten celebration neglected under Sumac.
With the cold weather upon them, Talon leads a group of stone-guards out to tend to the garden and Sunrise takes out a few prey-hunters to hunt down a porcupine.
Fog receives a vision, indicating that Foxtail Carried by Wind, is going to be the next teller of the Tribe. He takes her on as his apprentice and performs her ceremony.
The Tribe attends the Gathering, where Fog announces Foxtail as his apprentice, and she introduces herself. Stagstar and Finchstar get into an argument and clouds cover the moon.
As warm weather descends upon the Tribe, Foxtail receives a mysterious vision pointing her to the Estuary. Fog accompanies her, where they are attacked by a badger. The badger kills Foxtail and blinds Fog. Desperate, he begs the ancestor to give Foxtail his remaining lives instead. They agree, and she comes back as the full, teller of the Tribe.
Talon and Moonlight lead a patrol after the badger that killed Foxtail and injured Fog.
Foxtail and Talon journey to the Stone that Never Sleeps to receive the rest of her lives. The ancestors give her a vision of a mysterious cat across the Estuary and of a missing stone.
Foxtail leads the Tribe to the Gathering for the first time as their teller. Fog announces his retirement. The Gathering ends tensely after another RedwoodClan and ThistleClan argument.
Following the Gathering, Foxtail receives an influx of visions from the ancestors; though the legitimacy of them are questioned by her Tribe-mates as only some come true.
After serving the Tribe for six seasons, Talon decides to step down as Head Stone-Guard and retires. Mist that Traveled Through Redwoods is selected as his replacement.
Foxtail encounters the mysterious stranger from her vision at the Estuary, a lost rogue kit. He is the secret son of Poppy.
