STAT REDEMPTION

GENERAL INFORMATION
The expanded modifier system is an optional system used in conjunction with TA's Dice System. This expanded modifier system allows members to customize their character’s modifiers as much or as little as they want.
Characters can earn stat points by completing IC criteria in a thread. Characters can earn a total of 12 stat points with a max of three points in each category. The categories are:
Strength: Add +1 to the character’s Damage Roll
Defense: Subtract -1 from the opponent’s Damage Roll
Accuracy: Add +1 to the character’s Attack/Hunt Success Roll
Vitality: Add +5 to the character’s HP
Characters can earn as many or as few stat points as the roleplayer see’s fit. A character doesn’t have to earn all the stat points in all categories.
If a character is known for their strength, the roleplayer may choose to have their character only earn the strength stat points. If their character is known for their hunting prowess, the roleplayer may choose to only earn the accuracy stat points. Or, if a character is a well rounded warrior, the roleplayer may choose to have their character earn one stat point in each category. It’s all dependent on you, the roleplayer, and how you envision your character.
Special Stat: Battle Buddy
This special stat can be earned to use when in battle with a character's "buddy." This stat can only be earned once by each character, and therefore, characters cannot have multiple 'battle buddies.' The benefits of this stat are as follows:
1. Crit success benefits can be transferred to the Buddy once during battle, and must be used in the buddy's next post.
2. Success/Accuracy Dice Rolls get a +2 during the course of the battle.
3. Damage Roll can get a +5 [b]once[/b] during a battle for a special "team move."
The decision to use benefits 1 & 3 must be made before rolls are posted.
Using Stat Points
Stat points are in addition to the current age modifier in play on the site. So if character earns one Strength stat, when they roll the damage dice in battle it will be:
Or if the character earns one accuracy stat, when they roll the attack/hunt success roll it will be:
[dice roll] + [age modifier + 1] = damage
Or if the character earns one accuracy stat, when they roll the attack/hunt success roll it will be:
[dice roll] + [age modifier + 1] = attack
