LEAF-FALL WRITING PROMPTS
Members are encouraged to engage with the seasonal writing prompts, available in each prospective tab above, to help integrate their characters into the current setting and plot.
Seasonal writing prompts change each season and are completely self-paced, and you can engage with them all season long. There are no deadlines, timed-posts, or prizes* available for creating and/or completing a prompt. They are a simply a tool to help create "topical" threads. You can follow a prompt word for word, or change it up and use it as a springboard.
*Seasonal writing prompt threads count toward a New Year's Sun Path if you chose that path.

REDWOODCLAN
RedwoodClan characters can engage with the following prompts:
- Report any suspicious behavior and/or code-breaking activity to a trusted RedwoodClan warrior (Tigerpool, Antlerstrike, Oaktalon, Ravenfeather, Pollenstorm, Freezingsky, Antlerstrike, Fawnbriar, or Milkweedleaf) or an apprentice (Crowpaw, Hollowpaw, Shadowpaw, or Nymphpaw). Alternatively discuss the reporting (negatively or positively) or try not to get caught breaking the code! *Prompt can be used for TP's Code Cadets Event!
- Devise a battle strategy with a den-mate(s) to win back Bear Stones from ThistleClan. This can include creative offensive and defensive sparring practice, such as "hide-and-seek" style fighting, or a mere discussion with an actual attack plan.
- Patrol the border alongside the ThistleClan markers at the Bear Stones and watch for rogues. Skirmishes with ThistleClan warriors and rogues are encouraged!
- Visit Asterstorm and Blossomstep for any common leaf-fall illnesses or scuffles. Help them by gathering herbs before the frosts arrive (near the end of leaf-fall). Gossip about Asterstorm's "visit to LichenClan."
- Enjoy the falling leaf-fall temperatures by constructing a leaf-pile, (perhaps to practice ambush training), cozying up with a den-mate, or strolling through the autumnal forest.
THISTLECLAN
ThistleClan characters can engage with the following prompts:
- Search for the various tunnel mouths littered throughout ThistleClan territory and pack their entrances with mud to close them. Explore tensions with tunnelers or spark conversation about these newfound opponents. Is it worthwhile for the Clan to make another enemy so soon after the battle with RedwoodClan, or is the tension welcomed?
- Refresh the stale markers along the northern, rogue borders and make note of the heightened rogue activity. Leftover prey and even rogues themselves can be found lingering here. Discuss the Clan's relations with the rogues. Why has ThistleClan's leadership seemingly turned a blind eye to their transgressions?
- Personalize a den after winning it (or inheriting it in a loss) after the tournament. Spend time gathering unique accessories to make home feel like home and become acquainted with new neighbors. Or, if decorating isn't in the cards, maybe demand a rematch against an old foe.
- Fight in large groups (4 cats) to prepare for any future border altercations, focusing on defending against larger foes and using camouflaging techniques and the environment as an advantage.
- See Meadowshine post-tournament for a healing session. Continue to notify her of any strange encounters or experiences within or around the tunnels and continue to search for Shadepool. Help her find herbs as the first frost beckons and supplies runs low after the tournie.

LICHENCLAN
LichenClan characters can engage with the following prompts:
- Confide to a counsel member, Quickstar, Emberscorch, Deadeye, or Ghostface, or a den-mate, about the shifting culture in LichenClan and new rules regarding patrolling queens, restrictions on the MoonCave or tunnels, abandonment of the tunnel cat program, and punishments to those who openly rebel. Conversations can be secret meetings, agreements, full-on arguments, or attempts to change another's mind.
- Join a patrol as a queen and engage in warrior tasks, such as marking borders, participating in unexpected skirmishes, or initiating sparring practice. This can be a forced negative experience (Emberscorch orders the queen to patrol) a positive experience (queen volunteers or is forced to go, but likes it), or somewhere in-between.
- Ignore the warnings, posted guards, and missing cats, and sneak into the tunnels. Experience an unwelcome and uncomfortable presence lurking in the shadows, one that is never seen, but felt. Hear the thump thump thump of a heartbeat, a hot breath on a nape. Escape...or not.
- Go to Foxglovefire for a medical concern, only to receive incorrect or inadequate healing session. This can later lead to a concerning injury and/or illness. Question Foxglovefire's position as a medicine cat or reinforce Caveflower's vision that she was chosen by StarClan.
- Prepare for the upcoming leaf-bare by stock-piling the fresh-kill supplies, gathering herbs before the first frost, reinforcing nests with warm down and grass, or cozying up with a loved one.
TRIBE
Tribe of Floating Stones characters can engage with the following prompts:
- Journey alone or on a patrol to one of the Clans with a special message from Foxtail (DM Captain for the message). She's convinced her dreams must be prophecies and the Clans need to know immediately. But watch out! There might be dangers lurking on the way.
- Talk about the newest stranger in the tribe and Foxtail's eagerness to help cats outside of the Tribe. Who is this outsider named Springtail that Foxtail decided to take in? Foxtail says he's supposed to save the tribe from something, but what could it be and is it worth the risk?
- Gossip about Foxtail's fortunes, her surprise announcement at the Gathering, and the tense relationship between Foxtail and Sunrise. Could it be related to what happened to Sumac, or her dreams? Engage in a good ol' rumor with a Tribe-mate!
- Take a hunting trip to the Estuary and assess potential new food sources, potential border irregularities, and any growing herbs, as leadership prepares for the first frost.
- Visit the Rock Where All Wounds Heal and work on restoring it to it's state before it was used as a prison island by cleaning old makeshift dens, preparing the small herb gardens for the cold weather, and reducing the rat population through hunting.

TUNNEL CATS
Tunnel Cat characters can engage with the following prompts:
- Investigate the uneasy presence lingering in the tunnels. Why is it getting worse? What's lurking in their depths? Be careful though...something might be waiting just around the corner...
- Confront any ThistleClan warriors sent to close the tunnel entrances. Try to reason and discourage them, but watch out! Most warriors are unfriendly and itching for a fight.
- Reflect on the violent transgression between Firstar and Icesong and his aggressive Gathering announcement. Is peace an impossible dream?
- Reflect and share lessons learned from the Clan and Tribe guests now that the apprentice program has come to an unfortunate end.
- Grab a medicine bundle, head topside, and see if anyone needs healing as border scuffles erupt over the island following the Gathering.
CELANDINE
Celandine characters can engage with the following prompts:
- Spar with fellow rogues and loners to prepare for combat.
- Wander the borders to seek new friends and enemies, particularly along the border with ThistleClan and the estuary, where Tribe cats remain curious and suspicious.
- Take on extra responsibilities among Celandine to earn Poppy's favor.
- Begin preparing for winter by gathering nesting supplies, helping Mercury dry herbs, or trespassing into Clan or Tribe territory to hunt.
- Explore the two-leg cabin and sheds as the cool moons approach and the days grow shorter. Search for cozy spots to hunker down or places to store prey for the coming winter.
