The Apostles is a warrior cats roleplay based in northern Wisconsin. On Lake Superior, the wild cats have made the Apostle Islands their home. It is on these islands - Rocky Island and South Twin Island - that the clan and tribe cats have lived in a peace and harmony that ebbs and flows with the tide.
But as the tides turn, so does the truce that binds them to one another; and as the water raises, a darkness follows, an evil that will end in bloodshed and violence.

Finished Threads: ♡ Get out of the way - Sagefrost's hunger leads her to the fresh-kill pile and upon examination notes only one piece worth taking. Her choice is challenged by Flurrypaw who claims to have found it first. Their bicker becomes a fight and the two throw claws. After a few rounds of attacking one another, Sagefrost pushes Flurrypaw into the sand until the apprentice gives up. ♡ And the grass won't pay no mind - After a relaxing albite, boring morning; Sagefrost encounters Swiftfoot digging a hole in the sand. Questioning at first Sagefrost teases the molly about her oddity however a brief conversation turns the strange experience into an opportunity. Sagefrost finds herself in the hole alongside Swiftfoot, digging away into the pits of the earth and enjoying the sheer destruction with an unlikely companion. w/ wish - USED -
♡ Glory and Gore - Lounging in camp Sagefrost comes face to face with a firey Rootclaw looking to battle. She quickly agrees and the two begin to tussle in the heart of camp. After a few insults and claws thrown, Sagefrost comes out on top and watches as her opponent slinks away. w/ budgie - USED -
♡ Gathering Life - While out herb gathering with Cinderface and Violetshade, the trio stumble across a fox in a patch of lavender. Being the hero that she is, Sagefrost tosses Violetshade out of the way and sends them both running back to camp. The incident validates her connection to Starclan, her involvement the very reason their medicine cat did not parish in the jaws of a predator. w/ egotistic & moony - USED -
♡ The Blood of our Enemies - Sagefrost fights alongside Flurrypaw against the Redwoodclanner's Firepelt and Bugpaw. The two are ambushed by the Redwoodclan army and are forced to retreat at the call of their leader. Sagefrost is left wondering what deceivers amongst their clan resulting in the lose of what should have been, a glorious victory. w/ egotistic, owl, and akura - USED -
♡ A Chance at Something More - Chicorypaw convinces his mentor to set the lesson for the day. Fresh off the loses against Redwoodclan, Sagefrost consents and agrees to a race across the shore and into the trees. With only seconds to spare, Chicorypaw stands victorious and the rare shot of Sagefrost smiling after having lost is seen. w/ lightningtrail - USED -
♡ I'm Done Waiting - Sagefrost confronts Bristlefur about becoming a mentor. The deputy is not impressed with her rude, forward mentality and challenges her to prove herself capable by attacking him. Though brave and bold, Sagefrost is no match for the tom's skill and practice and her lack of respect ends up costing her both an ear and the bones of her front leg. The tom cements her need for discipline and challenges her to becoming better if she indeed intents on becoming a mentor one day. w/ akura - USED -
♡ I speak my own sins, I cannot judge another - Sagefrost takes part in Lichenclan's mass confession. While her confession is tame and her belief in Starclan cemented, it is not enough in the eyes of Minnowstar as she is punished for not beliving strong enough. Shocked and outraged, Sagefrost is forced into confinement, all the while blaming Sedgeshadow for the curse she'd placed on their family. w/ all of Lichenclan
♡ Into the thick of it - Sagefrost takes her apprentice, Chicorypaw on a border patrol with a fellow warrior (Saltwhisker) and her sister (Sedgeshadow). As she contemplates finding an enemy patrol along the border, Sedgeshadow grows skittish over their conversation and flees when Chicorypaw tackles her to prove himself strong for his mentor. Though the patrol does not end in blood shed, Sagefrost is left feeling disappointed once more at her sister's lack of strength or courage. w/ lightning, canna, and immortes - USED -
♡ Knock some sense into him - Sagefrost teaches Chicorypaw what it means to be a true Lichenclan warrior through combat training. The tom is sloppy and hesitant at first, his moves more akin to a newborn fawn than a warrior in training; however, with some patient and direction the tom manages to land a hit. Satisfied with the start of his training, Sagefrost lets him off the hook but only after laying down the foundation of what it means to be a cat in times of war. w/ lightning - USED -
♡ Snow slide lake side - Sagefrost spars with Leopard atop a frozen lake after recovering from her time in the catacombs. At first unsure of how the lockdown affected her body, the flash of claws against ice and another's skin invigorates her as she affirms her strength never really lost her. After dunking Leopardface into the freezing lake, Sagefrost fetches the tom and agrees to keep the incident a secret for the tom's precious reputation. [contest] w/ maxx - USED -
♡ Wite Hot Steel - Battle thread against Gorseflame, Trilliumpaw, and Snowpaw - Sagefrost fights off invaders while watching a friend die before her very eyes. As she is occupied with Gorseflame, her friend; Flurrystorm attacks the Redwoodclan apprentices. Flurrystorm's damage against Snowpaw draws the attention of Sagefrost's adversary and before she can jump in, Gorseflame murders Flurrystorm. ♡ Why mess with perfection? - Feather tries to show up Jaypaw in a hunting competition to see who catches the largest prey. The two are quickly interrupted by a sudden and vicious storm. Determined to win the contest, Featherpaw risks her life to show Jaypaw her catch. The two are faced with panic as Featherpaw disappears into the storm and almost loses her way. ♡ The molly who cried wolf - Featherpaw begrudgingly trains with Eagle on battle strategy at the Owl's Tree. He is quick to discipline her after she complains one too many times and does not believe her when she reports his actions hurt her. Fed up with her constant laziness and whining Eaglefang retorts she'd be dead if left on her own. After a feeble attempt that fighting back, Featherpaw loses the battle and Eaglefang takes the wistful apprentice home who now more than ever is determined to show she is worthy of her warriorhood. w/ moony
♡ Wounds and Pride - Featherpaw goes to see the medicine cat after a run in with the fox her and Birchsong faced. Torn up and bloodied, Featherpaw complains rather loudly to Shadepaw who is quick to tend to her injuries. The severity of her wounds is enough to insist she stay in the medicine cat den with him, an offer the molly readily takes to keep herself from doing choirs or sharing space with others. With the promise to stay put, Featherpaw quickly drifts off to sleep under the tom's watchful gaze. w/ fallenreaper
♡ Drowning in fears and regrets - On a rescue mission with Squirrel, Feather finds a lost Shadepaw and returns him and his herb stash to the safety of Thistleclan's camp. w/ fallenreaper & raven

Instead of finding an adversary however, the tom stumbles across a curious molly who's heartfelt earnestly and kindness strikes a cord within him. Torn between his need for acceptance and unwillingness to hurt Birchsong; Oleander instead chats with the molly and discovers some useful information about her clan. The two part ways on the border and he is left wondering where to go from here. w/ lightning
♡ No time to grieve - Oleander intervenes a fight between Poppy and Vixen after his sister dives in to prevent injury to Lily. Young and inexperienced, Poppy quickly becomes overpowered as the two struggle to bring harm to one another. Unable to watch any longer, Oleander throws himself into the mix and pulls Vixen off his sister. With the two separated Vixen rounds on Oleander, calling him weak and easy pickings for the rogues around them. He ignores the jab and returns to his post, emotionally exhausted for having to play a role in the fight at all. w/ lightning and fallenreaper
♡ My Rogue Prince - For the second time Oleander finds Birchsong on the outskirts of Thistleclan territory. She is suspicious of him, his involvement in the attack at camp coming into question as the two catch up. With a convincing display of trickery he denies taking part in the assault and with her security in him restored, the two cuddle in the shelter of a fern. For the first time Oleander questions his feelings for Birchsong, a war between having feelings for her and wanting to use her an ever growing conflict. w/ lightning
♡ Locking Paws and Breaking Jaws - Oleander and Hawthorn lose their camp to it's rightful owner, Thievingstar herself. ♡ Daunting Distractions - Oleander and Poppy are tasked with distracting Thistleclan sentinels for a night of chaos.
♡ Rhinestone Days - OCT PATROL - Lily leads her group to a new home after the loss of the Thistleclan camp.
♡ Hamartia - Oleander seeks out his lover and steals his kit.
♡ Fibers Collide - Lily holds a family meeting to discuss their move into Lichenclan's borders.
