Acornpaw
Redwoodclan
Amber eyed, white and black tabby tom
Apprentice
Male
8 moons
Appearance - What goes up
Acornpaw stands at average length and height when compared to those of similar age as him. Not too tall or short nor too wide or skinny; he fits in well among the crowd of Redwoodclanners that surround him. At times he will appear lanky as he grows into his body but those moments are fleeting as his bulk catches up with his frame. He is already becoming well muscles with definition beginning to form along his shoulders and thighs from constant tree climbing.
His fur is smooth and long and despite its length never seems to appear out of place in anyway though he only grooms when necessary and not with the fervor many long-haired cats find themselves in. Acornpaw is lucky enough to dispel foliage from his furs with a quick shake and dirt blends in well enough with his black tabby coat that if it is there, no one seems to notice it. His pelt is of classic design with a large amount of white spotting coating the bottom half of his features so from his chest to his stomach and finally feet are all covered in the color. His face is split in half, white ascending up his cheeks to end at the bridge of his nose with a brown spot gracing his right cheek.
Acornpaw's face is very square with wide tom cat jowls that are framed by his long fur. He's got a very pointed nose that is usually twitching as he follows any new scent that comes his way and his eyes are usually rounded with intense curiosity. Acornpaw's iris' are a dull shade of amber with a small ring of green around his pupils and while you can usually guess how he's feeling by the expression on his face, you'd definitively know based on the look in his gaze. His ears are average height and rounded on the ends with small whisps of white fur escaping from their depths.

Personality - Must come down...
+ Jovial | Supportive | Adventurous +

- Gullible | Compulsive | Unfocused -
Acornpaw is an all around happy-go-lucky lad. His base emotion is content and it's hard to break him of his happiness. He can easily see the good in nearly everything and only really feels down when someone else is in pain moreso than when he is under direct attack of something hurtful. There is always a silver lining to something, you just have to be determined enough to see it.
Born a leader's son, Acornpaw watched as his father navigated a life of duty with being a family figure. He became determined early on to be a supportive individual that could be a shoulder to lean on whenever it was needed. Acornpaw is overjoyed when his siblings or fellow apprentices' need him and goes to sleep happy knowing there was someone's life that was improved by his involvement in it. This can be bad however as he tends to be gullible to lies or deceit. He wants to believe the best in others and so can easily be tricked into doing things for others even if they don't need him to do it. He puts trust in strangers and so is easily burned by those he's put loyalty into that have not earned it yet.
He is compulsive in his desire for adventure and will not recoil from something new or spontaneous. Acornpaw will follow any thought that crosses his mind and is quick to change plans if something enticing enters his perception. His go with the flow behavior can leave him unfocused on duties that should be done and he's been known to skip training sessions either from forgetting they exists or from finding something more interesting to do instead.
History - ... down down
Acornkit was born first in a litter of four to the loving parents of Finchstar and Pebblefoot. While Finchstar's presence could be overbearing at times, Acornkit never minded the appearance of his father even if it was to drag them back to the nursery when they strayed too far. He looked up to Finchstar's moral code and even in his young moons tried to replicate it by supporting his siblings as best he could. Where his father was cautious, his mother taught him the joy of adventure that is still instilled within him to this day. Her relaxed belief in letting them live their lives helped Acornkit explore what it was like to be free from the confines of Finchstar's all seeing gaze.
Now as an apprentice, Acornpaw is a product of both of his parents - both supportive of others while still listening to the call of whatever journey ventures his way. He hopes to bring his siblings along in whatever shenanigans he can find himself in while also cheering them on as they achieve their own greatness. With the conflict between Redwoodclan and Thistleclan heating up, Acornpaw has been seemingly unaffected by such tensions and while he agrees that Bear Stones belongs to his clan, he's not as upset about the conflict as most of his clanmates seem to be.
