Character Stature: Brackenbear is a rather intimidating cat to witness. His long legs lead him to tower above many, and when combined with his notable musculature, can leave others quite intimidated. That combined with his musculature, He's considered . Even for a Redwoodclan cat, he's noticeably huge. Character Pelt: His fur is long and thick, hanging lowly He has strong dark tabby markings covering the majority of his pelt, helping him to blend in with the heavy forestry of their territory. along fur seems to stick out in rough clumps . Not overly tangled, but certainly not the pristine, well-groomed coat some obsess over. His back is a motley of black and brown. Lighter colored fur creeps in around his chin, but otherwise His paws are dipped in white, with the pads being a mix of pink and black.

Kithood: In the dappled light of late spring, three kits were born. One a tiny, mewling runt and the other a writhing mass of tabby fur. Bearkit was named for both his eventual physique and dark coloring, while Littlekit was simply named for his diminutive size and as an homage to his mother. Both inherited the oddly folded ears of their mother. making them an interesting sight for .

While Littlepaw was considered 'cute' for his small size and folded ears, Bearpaw was seen as nothing short of impressive. And slowly, Bearpaw began to assume that the things others said about Littlepaw were true. He was too he should hang back and let the bigger cats handle it!
His friend circle soon expanded, encompassing all but a few lone outsiders. He was boisterous and basked in the admiration of others. So jaded was the young tom, that he never stopped to notice the envious eyes or back-handed praise from his brother.
Adulthood:
Brackenbear was 20 moons. A badger had been sighted traipsing dangerously close to their border. It was only when Littlefang stepped up to volunteer
he was shocked. he never realized how much he had hurt his brother.
He remembers Sandstride inching forward to try and comfort him, only to met with barbed words and pained fury.
She didn't approach again, and that was the last time they talked.
