Wispfang
LichenClan
a blue-point bicolor tom with blue eyes
Warrior
Male
30 moons
Appearance
Wispfang's white and gray coat makes him a semi-longhair cat with exceptionally soft fur. He keeps his fur groomed so the warrior does not develop mats. For markings, he has gray tabby points on his head & back and a gray tail. His head is broad with a flat top and wide space between the ears. Underneath his coat, Wispfang possesses a long semi-muscular body. Much like his head, his chest is also broad with his neck being short.
Wispfang has deep, striking, round blue eyes, that help make up for his rough nature. He displays a sharp set of fangs which he thanks StarClan for, as they enable him in battle. With his fur length and it's fluffiness he is far from the best swimmer in LichenClan, but he knows at least how to swim like his fellow clanmates. The lack of an undercoat is to thank for making him not excessively shed or weighed down in the water.

Personality
Daring: Wispfang has his heart and mind invested into StarClan and their traditions. However, he strays away sometimes mostly in thought due to this fearless nature. Sometimes his willingness to seek out risks or boldness slips from thought, most of his clanmates acknowledge from time to time this trait. Unsurprisingly, his warrior name was received with his sharp teeth, faithfulness to LichenClan, and occasionally violent nature as consideration.
Alluring: Wispfang rejects being a successful diplomat, and stresses that words cannot guarantee cooperation every time. However, he possess charm in his looks and will at least attempt to seduce or mislead a cat with information of interest to himself or his clan. If this tool fails, the sharp fanged warrior falls back on coercion and will harm enemies as a failsafe to persuasion. LichenClan hates cats they cannot control and those who do not believe in StarClan, with Wispfang being no different. One of the main differences being Wispfang is always prepared to get physical to appeal to the beliefs of LichenClan.
Possessive: Wispfang's tendencies to act proprietorial or jealousy can cloud his intelligence and calculated thinking. It frequently gets in the way of contemplation and word choice. This trait is commonly responsible for Wispfang damaging relations with clanmates. He desires to please the clan and their leader but his methods don't please the pacifists within the clan.
Crude: When Wispfang is told something he is likely to twist it right back at the cat who spoke. His remarks can be typical tease, which is based on what is said to him at the moment. This once again ties into his lack attention to detail for words and even often manners. Wispfang displays this type of interacting unless the cat has his respect or interests him. The sharp fanged warrior is either a possessive friend or an annoying fur-ball.
History
Wispkit was a quite kit born during Minnowstar's heavy attacks on the forest cats for the Mooncave. Those heavy attacks eventually would lead to war with RedwoodClan. Wispkit was a reserved kit and preferred snoozing with his mother in the nest, instead of playing with other kits in the nursery. His father participated in some of the skirmishes Minnowstar ordered and told Wispkit stories. His mother was a pacifist and fully devout to StarClan, and it was her belief that Wispkit was to grow up the same. He was baptized in the waters of the Mooncave once he had reached the traditional age of three moons.
However, the quite kit became fascinated by his father's stories. Wispkit wanted to do the same, carry out Minnowstar's attacks, shed blood. Both of his parents eventually got fed up with each other and their conflicting view points, unable to come to a compromise. Wispkit was forced to play with other kits in the nursery as he grew up, due to his mother losing interest in him. He came out of his shell more as a result of this and his favorite game was tag turning into wrestling.
With help of his father, the apprentice was allowed to receive a mentor who was not a pacifist. As long as he was devout to StarClan but also did what Minnowstar felt was right for LichenClan, he was allowed to have fascinations about battle and shedding the blood of RedwoodClan cats. As an apprentice he trained rigorously with his mentor while Minnowstar ordered her forces to attack RedwoodClan for taking in a tribe cat.
His apprenticeship came to a close when Minnowstar decided that he displayed exceptional strength and loyalty after a fight broke out when an enemy patrol was spotted. He was given his warrior name Wispfang for his abilities and skills in combat. After his ceremony the young warrior sat his warrior vigil in the Mooncave with the medicine cat. His entire body ached from fighting but adrenaline served him throughout his warrior vigil.
Upon submerging his entire body in the sacred pool, he confessed to a few sins mostly having to do with his pride. Wispfang was boastful and now lacked the reserved qualities he once displayed in his younger days. His greatest sin came with the fact that he rejected the life his mother swore StarClan had laid out for him. In ways he became a heathen to some of the devout pacifist, but he does truly believe strongly in StarClan. Wispfang just receives endless enjoyment when there's non-believer blood dripping from his teeth, that is all there is to it.
