Personality: Pebble- is stubborn as a mule and is strongly averse to admitting failure, something that has direct ties with her past of being bullied and overlooked. She has a well-developed victim complex: nothing is ever her fault, . Although resentful towards bullies, Pebble- is ultimately phobic of all social conflict. 

History: Pebble- was born the runt of a litter of loyal and proud Redwoodclan warriors. She was bullied as an apprentice, mainly for her small size and meek nature, but was able to work hard and prove herself as a valuable warrior of Redwoodclan. Is well known in the clan for being a strong warrior and is well respected.


Questions to ponder:

Why did they pick Icepaw to be their apprentice?
Pebble- got one look at the scrawny Icepaw and pitied her. The other apprentices cared not for Icepaw just as Pebble's generation of apprentices cared not for her. If Pebble- successfully broke away from bullying by being better, Icepaw could do -- with Pebble-'s help. She would give Icepaw a chance Pebble- didn't have, and use Icepaw to stop future apprentices from facing a similar dark fate.

What were their plans for Icepaw? How did they intend to make her a shield for the weak?
Pebble- wanted Icepaw to work on her own weaknesses, as she had, and add a skill that Pebble- had failed to develop earlier in her life: leadership. Pebble- thought if she could shape her apprentice into an admirable warrior, she could ultimately inspire the bullied to help themselves, while deterring stronger clan-mates from becoming bullies. 

Did they try to prevent Icepaw from becoming so twisted? What did they try, and how did it fail?
Pebble- would have wanted to stop Icepaw's descent into darkness but would not know how to tackle the problem; because of this, she wouldn't have said anything, but make her training just that much harder. This will be because Pebble- had put all her effort into becoming a respectable warrior, not on how to talk to her clanmates and resolve issues orally. This harsh treatment could be the reason of their past and continued conflict. 

How do they feel about Finchstar and the war against LC?
Although Pebble- doesn't want to fight wars that are unnecessary -- this war is necessary. As long as Lichenclan is breaking the warrior code and keeping the Moon Pool from the other clans, it was Redwoodclan's born duty to do something about it. Pebble- thinks it's only a matter of time before Starclan will allow all clan to reach the Moon Pool once more. 
HOWEVER -- she will not give Icesong ANY COMPLIMENTS for heading any patrols of battles.

How do they feel about Icesong's narcissistic personality?
Looking at Icesong now is a perfect reflection of Pebble-'s mother. She hates it full and true. Unfortunately, her inability to confront any problem stops her from doing anything about it, least of all admitting how much she resents her old apprentice. 

How do they feel about Icesong's motherly nature and habit of spending time with the kits and queens?
Pebble- would be rather pleased with Icesong's motherly nature, and would see this as another opportunity to 'train' her 'apprentice' to prevent bullying where it starts -- in the nursery.
