Appearance
Rain that Falls in Morning has a petite stature with a slender but, muscular build made for sprinting. Her muscles are well-defined and toned despite being a relatively small she-cat. The bulk of her muscles sits in her back and fore legs with broad shoulders, but delicate neck. Additionally, drifting from her shoulders onto her torso is toned presenting a streamlined effect- where, despite her bulk, she is deceptively slender.
Her pelt is short, silky fur of an egyptian mau The markings along her ears, muzzle, chest, and inner paws are an ashy white with dark black, soot colored markings that are similar to that of an ocelot.
Rain that falls in morning’s face is geometric, like most of her body, in that the planes of her face are distinct. This includes the broad squareness of her forehead, the chiseled heart-shape of her cheeks, and juicy, round jowls. In addition, her ears are almost perfect triangles. Rain's ears are a light-pale pink with a red-rosy nose. Lastly, Rain’s medium-large almond eyes are a pale forest green, darker hues concentrated in the center than fan out to pale, yellow stoned rings.

Personality
+ empathetic, spiritual, idealist, social, creative
- naive, delusional, forgetful, fearful
Even if Rain has never experienced something, it's easy for her to put herself in anyone's paws. Alongside this, she has a great respect for life, nature, and the balance between each. With every action, she tries to be thoughtful of her clan mates concerns and feelings. All of these elements also tie into her empathetic views on spirituality and the inner-connectedness that Rain has always been sensitive towards.
Rain is idealistic, with her head is in the clouds. She sees opportunities that to others, may be moons away. Typically when invited into serious conversations, her ideas are not well considered because they aren't executed in reality. On the other hand, she always sees the good in a cat though often times, this borders on naivety. Rain is a very trusting she-cat. She will believe almost any cat and assumes that their intentions are as pure-hearted as her own. At this point in her life, she has not been let down or mistreated and in turn, continues to blindly follow the words and advice of those around her.
As a cave-guard, it's fortunate that Rain has little to do with organizing herbs or keeping track of prey. Perhaps this is why she pursued the role as a cave-guard. Rain is incredibly forgetful; she frequently displaces things and forgets simple commands. The only things that she seems to keep track of are things that other cats tell her about themselves. Rain loves to live in the moment of creation. This produces progress in the immediate world around her in terms of decorating and bringing an earthy shine to her life. Rain enjoys collecting trinkets she finds on walks and during her cave-guard duties. Her own nest is lined with her favorite stones and feathers. With a delicate demeanor, Rain is a very social character. She enjoys everything from small talk to deep conversations, but respects the boundaries of whoever she is communicating with (after a prodding question or two).
There are many things the Rain fears. Although she is resilient in the way of movement and kinesthetics, mentally, Rain is not the most stable she-cat. Her traumatic experiences have made serious impacts on her psyche. Many of Rain's decisions and reactions are based in fear.
History
Rain that Falls in Morning was born from late parents, Cloud that Rests in Sky and Ash Carried off Wren’s Feather. Both living, but aged, she maintains a loving and nurturing relationship with her parents. Family has always been a staple to the she-cat, despite being their only offspring.
Growing up alone, Rain that Falls in Morning spent a lot of time in solitude entertaining herself with simple pleasures. A feather, or a small shell, promised hours of fun within the realm of the she-cats imagination. Perhaps these times are what contribute to her idealistic, and grandiose sense of reality.
When Rain that Falls in Morning was not in solitude, she often spent time talking to the Cave Guards posted around camp. With a delicate sense of maturity, the she-cat was a wonderful listener and took great pleasure in spending time with her older comrades. Particularly, she developed a close relationship with the cave guard Honey that Drizzles off Bear Claw, frequently participating in leisurely camp activities due to his age. The elder has since past, but they developed a special relationship. Rain that Falls in Morning spent moons listening to the old cave-guard's tales and, much to his approval, trained under the paws of his younger brother, Wasp that Sleeps at Night. Her training was completed with kindness, positive encouragement, and a lot of heart. Because of these distinct familiar bonds, Rain that Falls in Morning has come to view all of her tribe mates as family, and is in turn, naive. Wasp that Sleeps at Night passed early, and her training was accelerated. Having been treated with loving kindness and acceptance, the she-cat consistently struggled to digest tragedy and unfriendliness especially after their passings, that accompany the trials of becoming a cave guard.
Rain that Falls in Morning was chosen by Sunrise (kaz), alongside Song (fallenreaper), Fog (moony), and Dusk (sloth), to swim across the lake and meet the clan cats. Rain was excited to join the patrol and meet friends on the other side of the island. Much to her horror, the clan cats were in the middle of a war. Sheltered on the tribe island, Rain had never experienced the violence of cats against cats. The rest of her patrol joins the attack against Lichen Clan while Dusk and Rain stayed behind to help tend wounds with the medicine cats. That night, Rain and Dusk visited the blood-soaked battlefield. In a glad of fireflies, she lamented to Dusk her disheartened pain, overwhelmed by the cruelty. They leaned on each other and fell in love.
While staying with Redwood Clan fog started to receive ominous dreams. Little did Rain realize, they suggested the passing of their young teller Creek and the Tribe of Endless Hunting nominated Fog in his footsteps. Traveling back with heavy hearts, Rain and the patrol returned to the islands. Creek had died. Fog announced his leadership and received his lives from the Tribe of Endless Hunting. Rain was ultimately happy for her friend and trusted the Tribe of Endless Hunting, but she was also nervous about Fog's inexperience. Creek had also been an inexperienced leader and made grave mistakes which led to the yellow-cough spreading. Rain was filled with doubt and insecurity having witnessed the tragedy of clan violence and the instability of their tribe. Still, she held onto hope.
Towards the end of the season, food became scarce, and starving coyotes began attacking cats.
Fog devised a plan to help rid the coyotes of the island. Rain was part of a patrol with Sunrise, Blackbird, and Fire (lightning) that was supposed to ambush the coyotes. However, the winds switched, and their roles were reversed. The coyotes attacked the patrol, and a ruthless battle erupted. Most of their patrol left with critical wounds. Rain's doubts about Fog's leadership continued to grow.
Shortly after, Rain discovered that she was pregnant with Dusk's kits. Now that she was bringing new life into their island, Rain became more paranoid about Fog's decisions. She continued to join Sumac's meetings, and ultimately, Sumac gained her support. Rain wanted change; The stone-guard aspired for a world she could raise her children without famine, fear, and sickness. Rain wanted the island she once knew, the world after the Great Hunger led by the teller for which she named.
Rain gave birth to four children: Tooth that Clutches Pine Martin (wish), Scream of Diving Eagle (Egotistic), Claw of Stalking Lynx (Kazuko), and Whisker of Snow White Hair (soot).
A catastrophic storm shook the island once more. With a single strike, it caught the island ablaze, a drought igniting the way to firelit doom. Rain and Dusk worked together to save their kits from their den, trapped by a burning tree. Ultimately they break through the tree and bring their kits to safety but not without leaving Rain that Falls in Morning's mother to die.
Fog mysteriously disappeared, and Sumac took place as the new teller. Desperate for change, Rain wanted to believe him. Sumac's first order of affairs was to ban stone-guard of their position and require them to shift to hunters, doing twice the number of duties and implementing punitive consequences for all who challenged him. Though it seemed outlandish and many were upset, Rain tried to understand. Holding onto the hope that change would emerge, Rain created a false narrative. Her fear and paranoia crafted a delusion of her experiences, and Rain blamed all her trauma on her duties as a stone guard: Chickadees death, coyotes, and their starvation. Rain grew featful that if she stayed a stone-guard, her future would be in war, to fight like the clans. She desperately wanted her children to grow up into prey hunters instead, and during this time, she tried her best to switch to the duties of the hunters. Claw of Stalking Lynx and Rain began to butt heads, her stubborn child aspiring to become what Rain fears, a stone-guard. Though, Claw also reveals that they identify as non-binary which makes no difference to Rain; She is more concerned about Claw's interest in stone-guard duties and how she created discord with Sumac's new orders. Rain refused to take food from Claw and spent time hunting instead.
Rain and Whisker bond during this time, helping each other grow as prey hunters.

A thunderstorm shattered the island through the night, causing a massive mudslide. On a patrol, Rain, Talon (Wolfie), Chikadee (Kazuko), and Blackbird (wish), were sent to help clear the path and debris. During their patrol, the hills crumbled, and Chikadee died in the mudslide. This experience was the first tragedy Rain had witnessed; She struggled to recover from the horrors, often haunted by Chikadee's death and the fragility of life. She leaned on Blackbird, seeking the comfort of a robust and maternal figure and friend alike.Rain that Falls in Morning was chosen by Sunrise (kaz), alongside Song (fallenreaper), Fog (moony), and Dusk (sloth), to swim across the lake and meet the clan cats.
