Saberpaw 

Thistleclan

A small black and white tom

- Like many in Thistleclan Saberpaw is a small, short tom. He's on the leaner side, with thin limbs and small paws. He's not terribly muscular but he's not scrawny either. His tail is short and thick.

- Saberpaw's pelt is a short, dense one. It is mostly white with black markings on his head, neck, back & tail. Saberpaw's pelt is course to the touch and soft beneath those guard hairs.

- Saberpaw has a diamond shaped head. His ears are rather large and whiskers long and wild looking. He has a pair of sharp golden yellow eyes and a bright pink nose. 

Saberpaw was born into a difficult family. There is no doubt it made him who he is today. Having always had to work so hard for any little bit of attention, Saberpaw has become rather cunning. It was the only way he could assure that he remained the center of his parent's attention. He's no stranger to using deceit and trickery to get what he wants. 

Like his folks, Saberpaw learned to be rather judgmental of others. He'll look down his nose at others until they have proven their worth in his eyes. This makes him slightly unpopular among his fellow apprentices. As he comes off as a bit of a prick.

Saberpaw rarely holds a conversation that doesn't drip sarcasm. It's just apart of his nature to be sarcastic. It's not always meant to offend those around him, though often times he is taking a jab.

Hold a conversation with Saberpaw and beneath his sarcasm, beneath the judgement you'll find a rather witty tom. He can twist anything into something funny if he's given the chance.

Saberpaw cares deeply for those he deems worthy of his attention. That means once he accepts you, he will be protective of you. 

Saberpaw has never been the trusting sort. Mistrustful of most other cats intentions it takes time and work to get him to truly trust another. He just has a hard time believing in the good in others. Perhaps because his parents weren't so reliable.

Tough, Saberpaw is quite capable of dealing with hardships. He'll withstand whatever he has to in order to prevail. This makes him a reliable clanmate when things are difficult.   

- Saberkit was born into a rough family. His father a proud, ambitious warrior of Thistleclan. His mother a rather vain, competitive queen. He was one of 5 kits. (Saberkit, Pantherkit, Patchkit, Badgerkit & Tulipkit) All of whom constantly competed for their parents attention. This behavior was encouraged by their parents. The harder they tried the more attention they were given. It made for a competitive kithood, always vying to be the best. Saberkit was never coddled. If he got hurt he was told to get over it. If he and a littermate got into a fight they were expected to sort it out themselves.

Despite this, Saberkit still managed to remain close to his siblings. Even through the scuffles and arguments they were still blood and remained loyal to one another. In fact, Saberkit and his siblings all felt closer to one another than they ever did their parents. Even though they were always seeking to be the center of attention, having to work so hard for a few brief moments of affection made them resent their parents with time. 

Now 6 moons, the litter has entered into their apprentice training. All excited to strike out away from their parents and make a reputation for themselves.
