Lace App
+ Intelligent- Lampreypaw, like his mother before him, is highly intelligent. He soaks up information like moss soaks up water, and he’s more than happy to use this ability to learn about the world around him. Furthermore, his mind is like a coyote’s maw. Once he hears information, it won’t go away. He currently used this for things like the best moves for mossball. However, as he grows, this intelligence will turn into a deadly weapon, and will be used for… less savory things.
+ Observant- Going paw in paw with Lampreypaw’s intelligence, are his observational skills. Extremely spatially and socially aware, the tom can usually pick up on small details others may miss. A certain expression or a slight limp, for example, are both things he can see. This will be one of his favorite skills when he grows up.
+ Adaptable- Lampreypaw is good at rolling with the blows. So good, in fact, that it’s actually genuinely hard to startle him so bad he gets off track. From figuring out how best to approach another cat to get what he wants to pivoting a conversation away from something he did to something else, he can change himself easily. As an adult, this is a skill that will be used for much, much worse things than just getting out of trouble.
+ Silver-tongued- If he set his mind to it, he could probably convince even cats who hate his guts to be on his side. His silver-tongue is something he inherited from both his mother and his grandmother, and it’s something he prides himself on. He often does stuff that would get him in trouble, so this is a great way for him to get out of that.
- Lazy- Lampreypaw has one real guiding rule in his life, and that is to do what makes him happy first and foremost. And part of what makes him happy is lounging around. He hates doing work, and would rather sleep the day away. However, he will do stuff. Just… not stuff he’s asked to do. If he wants to do it, that’s one thing. If his mom asks him to do it… well, he’ll do everything he can to get out of that.
- Egomaniac- Even as a kit, Lampreypaw will have a… high opinion of himself. He sees himself as the prettiest of the litter, as well as the smartest, and refuses to hear anything else. His happiness matters more than anyone else’s in his opinion, and he has no qualms taking from others to make him happy. Actually, there’s little he wouldn’t do to others to make himself feel as if he’s superior to them.
- Manipulative- Lampreypaw is extremely manipulative already, often manipulating others to get them to give him prey, toys, and attention. This manipulation, however, will not be limited to more innocent reasons. He’ll eventually grow to manipulate others to do things with him or for him. Whispering promises he will never fulfill.
- Battle-hungry- Even as a kit, Lampreypaw’s claws itch for battle. He sees the scars on certain cats, and while he finds them ugly, he also finds the tales behind them fascinating. He wants to feel the thrill of battle. To feel his claws cut through flesh. Because if everyone else likes it, then surely he will as well.
- Vain- Adding onto his egotistical nature, Lampreypaw is incredibly vain. He thinks he’s the cutest kit to ever walk the island, and that will eventually morph into him thinking he’s the hottest cat in existence. He loves his coat. Absolutely adores it. He had no issues commenting on others’ pelts, comparing them to his and laughing at them because they’re incredibly ugly compared to him.

Looking at Lampreypaw, it’s not really much of a question of who his parents are. While he’s not the tallest cat around, especially in Celandine, he’s not overwhelmingly short. In fact, while he’s currently still a kit, he will stand at an ever 8” at the shoulder, placing him perfectly between his parents in terms of height.
He sports a lithe build similar to that of his parents. It, coupled with long legs and small paws, gives him a graceful appearance. One that he will use to his advantage when in comes to fighting.
When it comes to his pelt, his pattern is almost identical to his father’s, being a beautiful snow rosette tabby color. Lynx points cover his legs, tail, and face, accentuating the dark rosettes that dot his body. Like his mother, his fur is short and sleek, showing off his muscles.
Lampreypaw’s face has a rounded, softer look to it, in part because his cheeks are rounded. His eyes are a baby blue color with darker blue flecks, and they sit above a baby pink nose. Big ears rest atop his head, and long whiskers jut out from his face.

History
Poppy and Honeybun’s romance was never what one would consider normal. Actually, neither of them could be considered normal to begin with.
With his mother having committed fratricide and his father having… questionable attractions, it’s no wonder that Lacewing came out with his own questionable morals. Born alongside his older brother, Weevil (Egotistic ), and his younger brothers Springtail (Kazuko ) and Grasshopper (sloth ), the snow rosette tom spent the first five moons of his life in the Celandine camp.
At five moons old, he and his siblings were all sent to different clans in order to learn more about them. Lacewing was sent to RedwoodClan, much to his chagrin. He adopted the name Lampreypaw, and was later assigned Finchstar (rain ) as his mentor.
