Chickadee came from a long line of stone-guards, which renders him the odd one out in his family group. Being the runt, he is weaker and as luck would have it, was not built as sturdily or as muscular as the rest of his siblings. He would always lose to them just because he was too weak to fight back with matching vigour. This, however, makes him perfect for prey-hunters. He finds himself more able to run faster, and his smaller height makes it easier for him to run and hide with less resistance.

Thanks to his genes, Chickadee carries a silver-tipped dilute black coat, with black stripes crossing over the fur in a straight, mackerel pattern. His fur is long and fluffy, helping him greatly with the blustery Wisconsin winters, and warming him whenever needed, although it's a nightmare to groom. This fur extends as tufts upon his ears, and thicker fur around his neck forms a mane-like feature of light fur, like a lion.

Chickadee's face is the only part that truly mimics his bloodline. A long muzzle, and eyes set back into his wide head, with a small, red nose with went dry very quickly. His eyes are a lime green, another feature shared. He has a small scar just under his right eye from a fight where the enemy had their claw torn off and lodged into the skin.

Chickadee always likes to keep an open mind, letting him see things from other cat's views. He hates being narrow, afraid that he will miss something important to someone else, or not understand what they're saying as he wants to know what people think. Keeping an open mind allows him to do this.

Chickadee is a personable cat, and seems to keep everyone's spirits up, as well as their opinions of him. Others seem to find it easy to talk to him, and he always makes an effort with everyone as he doesn't want anyone to be left alone and unwanted, due to how he felt as a kit. He often feels that cats have their own, unique stories to tell, and by speaking to them about it and being friendly, they trust him, and he loves nothing more than making sure others feel happy.

Chickadee is orientated around peace and believes that violence should always be avoided wherever possible. Even with news of cats living on the other, bigger island, he believes that they should be approached with peaceful intentions. Violence just doesn't seem to solve anything in his view, so there was no point in being hostile.

Due to his desire to become close with everyone that he meets, he can be misled quickly, being told things that may not necessarily be true, yet he believes them anyway due to wanting to know about others. This can land him in trouble quickly, especially if he doesn't know any other sort of truth or knowledge about the situation.

Chickadee often doesn't stand up for himself, worried that he will otherwise offend others when doing so. He can get beaten around by others due to an inability to defend himself at risk of irritating others. It can end up badly for him sometimes, but he doesn't mind too much as long as others are okay - even it it really hurts him.

Chickadee was born as the runt of the litter, the youngest, to Sun Sinking in the Sky (Sky) and Ivy Clinging to Cave Side (Ivy). His older siblings, were born resembling their parents greatly, with muscles and a body born for stone-guarding. However, being the runt, Chickadee lost out on a lot of this. He was a lot weaker, and his two siblings often excluded him as a result as he just couldn't keep up.

As a to-be, Chickadee threw himself into becoming a stone-guard, trying to make his parents happy. They were both already quite old, and wanted to carry on their legacy, but Chickadee just couldn't make it happen. It took the death of his mother, Sky, after catching an infection during a cold winter after a fight, to realise that he had to follow his own path, and that his parents wouldn't always be around to see his achievements if he did follow them. He stopped putting all of his effort into becoming a stone-guard, instead choosing to try both options. When the time came for him to move on, Chickadee fell easily into the role of a prey-hunter.

As a prey-hunter, Chickadee has found himself enjoying life a lot more. Whilst his now retired father still judges him a little on the choices that he has made, both of Chickadee's siblings have become much  closer to him, and he couldn't think of life without them.
