Let's get ready to ruuuuuuummmmmble 🪑 Everybody's favorite word-counting competition is back! NaNoWriMo 2024 is here, and we're ready to write ~~or cry. I think most of us are crying this year.~~ So fire up your writing engines, rest those fingies, and head on over to the November Announcements for all of the juicy details 😤 Other than a few November Patrols, the rest of the announcements are light and breazy-easy this month as we wind down 2024 for the holiday season. Enjoy a tasty meal on us!

THE APOSTLES

The Apostles is a warrior cats roleplay based in northern Wisconsin. On Lake Superior, the wild cats have made the Apostle Islands their home. It is on these islands - Rocky Island and South Twin Island - that the clan and tribe cats have lived in a peace and harmony that ebbs and flows with the tide.

But as the tides turn, so does the truce that binds them to one another; and as the water raises, a darkness follows, an evil that will end in bloodshed and violence.

History 0 - 6 moons: One of two sickly kits born to ThistleClan. Though sickly Asterkit grows and becomes an apprentice. 6 - 11 moons: Apprenticed and wild Asterpaw gives her new mentor Rowenflame a hard time. Even still, he pays little attention to her. 11 - 13 moons: Asterpaw decides to venture on her own up a great redwood tree after being ignored and dismissed by her mentor once again. Loosing her balance she falls from a great height severely injuring her shoulder. She spends two moons recovering but develops a poppy seed addiction. During her hazy days in a drugged stupor, her mentor convinces her that she had directly disobeyed him and thus her accident occurred. 13 - 14 moons: Asterpaws addiction hits a peak as she raids the medicine cats den causing distruction and landing her a long and harsh punishment. While working through her punishments, she works through her addiction and achieved sobriety. 14 - 18 moons: Asterpaw resumes her training with Rowenflame and although its more focused than ever it's still lackluster. She receives her warrior name Asterstorm after LichanClan attacks the camp and kills her brother and her niece frozenpaw. RP history 18 - 21 moons: Asterstorm has been made a warrior and through her sobriety her original memories begin to surface. Confused she attempts to confront Rowenflame while out hunting. That same night, disturbed by their conversation she decides to take her friend Reedpaw out to explore some tunnels. Two moons pass and its her first gathering as a warrior where she meets Chicorypelt from Lichanclan who unbeknownst to Asterstorm is the father to her sisters kits. Later, she realizes how far behind in training she is and so she asks Woodfrost for some help.
