EVENINGSTORM
THISTLECLAN
shorthaired blue tom with amber eyes
warrior
male
25 moons
Appearance
Amongst the dark underbrush of ThistleClan, Eveningstorm’s ashy grey pelt is a benefit to him, completely solid in colour and thus enabling him to blend in with his surroundings well. Its short, dense, and somewhat coarse texture prevents matting and makes navigating the pine forest a simple endeavour, and he fits the stereotypical appearance of a ThistleClanner well. This blue colourations blankets him from his ears to the very tip of his short tail, rendering him almost a shadow in dark lighting.
A little shorter than the average cat, Eveningstorm makes up for it with lean muscle, demonstrating his potential for agility and flexibility even when he is immobile. A sharp-angled face makes him an expressive tomcat when he wishes to be, though Eveningstorm most often carries an expression of aloof apathy, amber eyes rarely open all the way yet are often alert with some degree of mistrust or suspicion.
Tall ears sit well-spaced atop his head, a wide degree of movement allowing him to use them even when he may otherwise seem idle. Still as he may be at any time, these ears are almost always moving in some way, sharp twitches and swivels allowing him to keep track of the goings-on around him even when his eyes do not follow. His eyes are a rich amber in colour, and below them stretches a sharp muzzle that ends with a mouth that is often set in neutrality or a frown.

Personality
With ideals that change as frequently as the wind blows, Eveningstorm is a difficult cat to pin down, even for those close to him. Decisive and forthright, he doesn’t waste time weighing out the pros and cons of different ideas, preferring instead to act and deal with the consequences later. This makes him an active cat, and stepping back and letting others assume easy control doesn’t come naturally to him. The only cats to whom he will, albeit reluctantly, defer, are the higher-ups within the clan, though Eveningstorm doesn’t enjoy doing so.
Born and raised within ThistleClan, he was almost fated to be molded into the type of cat who would thrive within their environment. Far more willing to use his claws than his words, Eveningstorm respects nobody who hasn’t proven themselves to him directly by way of a challenge. This, he believes, is the only way for one to know with whom they are communicating, as there is no way to hide oneself in the midst of a fight.
Gaining closeness to Eveningstorm is no easy thing, but maintaining it takes little effort. Naturally guarded, he is reluctant to socialise too much with his clanmates unless they are working towards some sort of goal, but it isn’t unheard of for him to develop friendships over time. Even these friendships though, are a fickle thing, as Eveningstorm is ultimately self-serving, which only works for as long as a relationship is beneficial to him. That being said, he enjoys the company of like-minded individuals with whom he can find common ground and justification or support for his own views.
