TORNPELT
ThisleClan
Black Smoke Longhaired Tom With Green Eyes
warrior
tom
25 moons
Appearance
Tornpelt inherited one of his families long genetic traditions, a smaller stature. While just slightly larger than the average she-cat in the clan in terms of height, the tom has put on significant muscle in his short life. He also boasts a slightly longer body, with a thick, long tail to boot.
Tornpelt has always found pride in his dark smokey grey coat, akin to his relation to the powerful Graystar. His undercoat is a lighter silver color that when it catches the right sun could appear almost white. The tom's outer coat grows in slightly rougher than the fur below, though just past the exterior, it's extremely soft.
An incident that happened during his kithood caused a long scar that remains to this day across the male's right flank. The fur there has never grown back the same way and if he is to lay the right direction, it becomes blatantly obvious that it's still there. A tear for life.
The tom boasts arguably some of the largest ear's in Thistleclan, though it is not oddly proportioned to the male's larger, bulkier face. A single small notch in his left ear is only defect seen on Tornpelt's head.
Bright forest green eyes match those of his sibling, striking to look at and terifying under the right circumstances.
Personality

Courageous | Intelligent | Confident

Manipulative | Greedy | Reckless
Tornpelt can be both a tom you turn to in times of neeed, as well as someone's worrst enemy depending on his opinion of the individual. Extreme patience paired with a powerful mind allows the tom to be observant and judgemental, as he's quick to tag an opinion to someone.
A weak point of this is his relationship to she-cats. Whether you see it as his personality or a coping mechanism from losing both of his parents at fairly young ages, the tom is extremely selfish and flirtacious. The tail of a she-cat would tempt him away from battle at a moment's notice.
That being said, Tornpelt's loyalty to those he holds close is held in the highest regard. He would throw himself to the wolves to protect those he loves, namely his only remaining immediate family, Smallstorm. Prone to quick aggression in these circumstances, sometimes to a fault.

History
Tornpelt and Smallstorm were born into ThistleClan, during a tumultuous time in the clan's history. Their father, Gustpelt, often regaled them with stories of his ancestors, including the powerful and legendary leader, Graystar. Tornpelt, in particular, was captivated by the tales and sought to emulate his great-great-great-grandfather's leadership and strategy.
When he was a kit, he sustained a wound from the wooden flooring of the abandoned campground where they were born. The injury left a jagged scar across his flank, leading his clanmates to name him Tornkit.
As he grew older, Tornpelt's admiration for Graystar only deepened. He spent hours with his sister, Smallstorm, gamifying everything and creating elaborate tournaments and duels. Their playful and mischievous nature developed in these games would follow them into apprenticehood.
At six moons, Tornpelt was apprenticed to Nettlesting, a mysterious and reserved warrior who, he later discovered, was his cousin and also descended from Graystar. Nettlesting taught Tornpelt the ways of ThistleClan, and despite his quiet demeanor, proved to be a skilled and powerful warrior. Tornpelt's outgoing and endearing personality eventually won over his cousin, and the two grew close as Tornpelt learned about Nettlesting's rogue heritage.
During these moons as an apprentice, he makes a name for himself both as a prankster, but also as a tom that could hold his own in a fight from said pranks.
As he neared his warrior ceremony, tragedy struck. Tornpelt and Smallstorm lost their mother, Petalshadow, in a battle against the rogues who threatened ThistleClan and in an effort to regain their camp. Grief-stricken, the two siblings delayed their ceremonies. This was the first time the tom could sense his sister retracting from their relationship to his dismay.
Tornpelt eventually became a warrior, taking on the name Tornpelt, and quickly gained a reputation as a flirt. His neverending advances seemed to sway even the most unamused to his side. During the first few moons as a warrior, he found himself in numerous spats with his sister, Smallstorm, over the topic of his advances on others.
During the Great War, the tom was left to help guard camp. He was horrified to find out, upon the clan's return to camp, that his father had been struck down by one of the rogues. He was even more upset to watch his sister turn her back on him after his father's death, though internally he understands the innerworkings of their complicated relationship.
