Born a large kit, Brackenkit quickly gained muscles through a loving mother providing milk whenever he cried, and through play with his littermates. One word sums Brackenkit up: thriving. He's a healthy weight for a kitten. His height and length is similar to Blazingstorm's impressive size when he was young. If he is to follow in his dad's footsteps, he'll be a big boy!

Just like his colourful parents, Brackenkit's long fur is painted with a elegant pattern of umber brown and tan, complimented by a white chest and accompanying ivory paws. A blaze of white bridges the space between his eyes and nose. His back boasts the deep mahogany colour covering most of his body, secondarily interrupted by the lighter tan fur streaking throughout. The majority of his luscious coat is tickled with tawny and brown stripes.

With a statue and pattern more similar to his father, it's only fair that a handsome face resembles that of his pretty mother. Willowshine's son's face mimics his mother's circular features. A broad muzzle, a small nose and round eyes mirrors his mother's feminine face appealing appearance sweetly. Several lengthy whiskers protrude from the dark holes upon his snout.

Deep amber eyes doesn't quite match his mother's brilliant yellows nor his father's fiery eyes but instead is a flavourful mixture. However, when the sunlight catches the ambers, you'd swear they were instead a tamed golden colour.

Upon his muzzle is a cute nose that's deeper pink than his rosy skin and inner ears, although white strands of fur would help blend in the stark contrast against his woodland-coloured body. Dark tufts top his triangular ears.

Stoic as it gets, other's opinions of Brackenkit have little weight. He's unmoved by the actions or thoughts of others, Brackenkit would be influenced by his own emotions only, with the outside world to atone for any expectations they may have for him.

Loving parents and being a strong male of a vibrant litter built Bracken's ego into the impermeable barrier it is. His confidence makes it so not many cats can offend or make him change his mind. A sure-thinker with plenty of charisma, from the get-go, Brackenkit is sure to get what he wants based on a strong sense of self-belief.

Other cats would need to be mindful of his sarcasm, which comes with not caring what they think of him. To be cheeky and mocking would sum up most of his non-familial interactions. Even when he's not frustrated or in a bad mood he may react to other cats with a rude remark. No filter and pure honesty.

Brackenkit is unafraid to stand up against cats that would annoy those he loved. Protective towards those he loves, this kitten would often mirror his mother's precautionary nature and try to stop his siblings from entering dangerous situations.

With anyone outside his family, Brackenkit will save his breath, and not conversate. It would take a lot of effort from his parents to get him to engage with the clan. Not out of shyness but pure unwillingness to get to know others. This unsociable behaviour is only second nature to Brackenkit.

Resulting from his mother's incessant presence this tom is spoilt and mollycoddled. Tantrum throwing if he doesn't get his way followed by screaming until either he wins or gets comforted by Willowshine.

Inspired by not knowing how far he can push others (due mother always interrupting before the target responds) Brackenkit will not stop until he is made physically or the other cat says something CLEAR to get him to stop. He will push other's boundaries with little remorse for the other cat, unless they're close to him, in which he'll badger them gently.

Brackenkit does have a deep love for his family. He idolises them and will do anything for them. There is a deep belief within his heart that his family has the best of ThistleClan.

One of four born to Willowshine and Blazingstorm, Brackenkit was the first born and second largest of the litter. After him, Brightkit, Graykit and Firekit followed him into the world. From the moment he was born he was squirming, kicking and mewling however loud his newly made lungs could manage, only to settle when placed to suckle at his mother's teat. Soon the kitten was named Brackenkit in respect to this display of strength, which would hopefully with time mirror the strong bracken plants that shelter the camp, and to compliment his gorgeous fur.

Brackenkit is yet to experience more than suckling and mindlessly pawing his siblings but once he hits consciousness, look out!
