Mintbreeze
Redwoodclan
a white and black bicolor tom with green eyes
warrior
male
25 moons
Appearance
Mintbreeze stands comfortably taller than his brother and is usually expressionless in demeanor. His frame is only slightly above average when all taken into account his height. Alongside that, there are no truly notable attributes in his musculature. He is not obviously strong or obviously weak upon first impressions. His form and muscles are typically solid for a tom, being well-kept without much effort on his part.
With a pelt that is about ninety percent argent like ivory, the right side of Mintbreeze’s face is typically his most charming side. Where a splatter of void-black lays upon one of his two olive eyes. And due to both rounded ears having points of black, one is inclined to believe the ears are the origins of dark ink trying to take over. His tail also fell victim to the dark and is entirely consumed by it.
His face is mainly squared, which rounds out as his face flows into his neck. The prominence of his muzzle is only easily viewed when he is looked at from the side. With this being due to him being primarily white with little contrast.

Personality
content — negative. Mintbreeze usually comes from an unbothered place. He lacks strong opinions and is unwilling to be a source of change. Due to this, he can appear to be lazy. He does what is expected of him from a task, and nothing more. Mintbreeze has the capabilities to excel and is quite smart but is disinterested in doing so. However, despite this he does appreciate praise and can sometimes be convinced into doing more than the bare minimum when given positive feedback.
modest — positive. When receiving compliments, Mintbreeze is likely to deflect and come up with excuses for his success. He is the type to chalk things up to luck or anyone would have done the same. The warrior does not view himself as special and doesn’t accept compliments straightforwardly. He is incapable of boastful conversation about abilities or achievements.
timid — negative. Mintbreeze has never needed to be bold in his life due to his brother being bold and confident enough for the both of them. He is quiet, follows orders or ideas of others, and is commonly seen to be doing so with little words. Despite this demeanor, Mintbreeze has social skills and can uphold a conversation, but usually gives off the energy that he is simply not interested in having one.
contemplative — positive. While he may come off as detached, Mintbreeze is incredibly perceptive and intelligent. When he does choose to speak, he is well-spoken and comes off as thoughtful. However, it is not certain he will share his thoughts, but will do so if a friend seems in need.
self-deprecating — negative. Mintbreeze reprimands himself the most when it comes to his abilities. He believes his achievements are less important than others, and typically the mannerisms of this are not amusing. Often his self-deprecating behavior can go too far and become extreme modesty or self-loathing. This tendency to constantly live while being too difficult on himself or cruel to himself is hard to understand for those who try to get to know him.
amiable — positive. Regardless of what might be going on in his head, Mintbreeze is reliable. He usually takes long periods of time to make decisions, but with encouragement can be sped up. More often than not, he does tag along with Milkblaze for extra training but tries to avoid taking actual risks. A calm follower, yes, but one that is both purposeful and efficient when he exerts the effort to do such.
History
Mintkit was born to Blazeleap and Sagepool in the middle of the war during the beginning of Icesong’s increased requirements for training in RedwoodClan. His mother, Blazeleap, was very strong-minded about the war and fanatical in her support regarding the newly named deputy. His father, Sagepool, was of a calmer heart and was even found to be worrisome about the direction the war would take all the clans.
His brother is just as wild as his mother, leaving Mintkit commonly found fast asleep as Milkkit listens to stories from Blazeleap. Mintkit doesn’t really develop strong opinions regarding outsiders or the war itself. And he is never asked to do so by either of his parents. The loud and proud following of their mother’s ideals by his brother satisfies her enough for him to not need to feel the same. This allowed Mintkit to focus on receiving quality time with his father before shortly becoming an apprentice upon turning six moons old.
Mintpaw’s content attitude starts to take shape in his apprenticeship and he goes through his training uneventfully. He is shown to neither truly excel at hunting or fighting as an apprentice, but performs techniques up to standard. The timid apprentice is neither a clear success nor an obvious failure.
Just before RedwoodClan’s attack on LichenClan’s camp, he was named Mintbreeze for his amiable and laid-back attitude. He fights alongside Milkblaze in this battle and afterwards begins to see his brother’s anger mounting. And despite their father’s request to hang back, Mintbreeze follows his brother for the final battle. They both returned safely after RedwoodClan’s victory, but visibly Milkblaze fought harder with radiant strength. And Mintbreeze simply fought anyone who tried to kill Milkblaze or get in his way.
