Character Stature: Nightingalepaw is a medium-sized cat who sits rather low to the ground. She is slender with very little muscle, as she has only recently begun her training and is still building her strength.

Character Pelt: Nightingalepaw has a red and white coat that is quite thick. Her fur is soft and she is still shedding her kit-fur. 

Character Face: Nightingalepaw has a large, round head with smaller ears. She looks young and a little awkward.

+trustworthy
Nightingalepaw is an incredibly trustworthy cat when it comes to the things that others tell her. She might as well be a vault of secrets, because there is no way that she would ever betray those that she cares for. Knowing that other cats can count on her is the greatest accomplishment of her life. Nightingalepaw will hold that over anyone's head who asks, and it is one of the first things that she makes sure others know about her. However, this vault of secrets only extends to those within her clan. Outside of it? Good luck everyone else.

+responsible
Nightingalepaw's duties are always going to come first. 'Lazy' is not a word that could be used to describe her, and if she catches someone else slacking off, she will not hesitate to get them up and moving. She can come off a little pushy, but Nightingalepaw is quick to apologize and take responsibility for her actions as long as she can clearly understand that she has hurt another cat. The last thing she wants to do is alienate her clanmates, and yet, it seems that she ends up alienating them a good deal of the time.

:philosophical
Nightingalepaw has a lot of big ideas for a small cat. The ethics of the Code, the relationships between Clans, and other issues that don't particularly interest apprentices whose primary interest is preparing for their futures. Nightingalepaw prefers to look at the bigger picture rather than short term solutions, and often questions her place in the Clan and the universe in general. This leads to her alienating her clanmates, and often causing her to have some concern over what they think about her.

-emotionally stunted
Nightingalepaw does not know how to properly regulate her emotions. She is unsure of what everything she is feeling means and often struggles to express herself in terms that others can understand. She also does not know how to keep herself from having inappropriate reactions to things, and she also does not know how to ensure that she will not be treated badly for her often inappropriate reactions to certain situations.

Nightingalepaw seems to have a million thoughts a minute every day. While it does not look as if she is afraid of the world from the outside, a few moments alone with her will certainly show that her mind is racing. She never seems to be able to focus on a thought, and she apologizes for simply existing to the point where it causes her more anxiety wondering whether or not the other cats think she is annoying. Nightingalepaw has a lot of opinions and is willing to voice them, but she does not seem to have any set beliefs. She will change her opinions to suit the opinions of those around her, and has a hard time standing up for what she really believes in--or even knowing what that is.

KITHOOD
Nightingalekit was born to a family who valued and respected her views. They were all a little eccentric, in a way. Nightingalekit's mother liked collecting feathers and other pretty rocks, her father was obsessed with clan history, and her sister was spiritual to a point that was considered strange. It was no wonder that Nightingalekit grew up a little eccentric herself. Her kithood was filled with love and exposure to various cats' views and personalities, so that Nightingalekit would be well-prepared when the time came for her apprenticeship. She knew, of course, that she would grow apart fom her family when they had their own lives, but she didn't realize quite how quickly it was going to happen.

APPRENTICESHIP
While she is a new apprentice, Nightingalepaw is already losing touch with her family. Her mother has returned to her warrior duties alongside her father, and her sister has settled into her own group of friends. Nightingalepaw is struggling to find her place within the community, and the tensions within the clan and her own family are making things more difficult. Due to both of her parents being pacifists, Nightingalepaw is able to find some patience and understanding for the LichenClan refugees. However, her sister is more of a militant, and has already become hardened and separated from her family due to the views of her friends. Nightingalepaw is struggling to maintain any sympathy and respect for them because of the violence. She is afraid of her family being torn apart by these political issues,and she is afraid to pick a side, believing that if she does, it will be the final thing that tears her family apart.
