The runty little brother of Bonekit, Ghostkit arrives with a minor disadvantage in the frame. In contrast to his brother’s regal spots and orange color, the black smoke tom is unusual. Ghostkit is decorated with a wispy white chest and underbelly. A striking white hourglass is adorned above his nose. Ghostkit sports four ivory mitted paws that will one day be pushed to their limits by his father’s strict training.

Ghostkit will grow into a lithe, dashing, athletic build covered by ethereal long furs. His pelt will serve to conceal the innate runty stature that he will truly never be able to correct. No matter how much he eats, Ghostkit will always find his muscular build just short of Bonekit. His face inherits the refined RedwoodClan sharpening and jawline of Hollowheart, his true father. With their most notable similarity being the long, impressive pointed tips that extend upwards from his ears.

As for the rest of him? He is the damning ashes on white wool. He is the twirling color of gasses smoldering from a dying fire. Ghostkit will be a cursed kit thought to be placed upon LichenClan in the aftermath of the battle. Mainly due to his appearance being neither like his mother or his father. His runty ashen resemblance will be in the shadows of Bonekit, who is a more cohesive combination of Duckpuddle and Sootpelt.

As any kit would, Ghostkit will believe himself to be born under normal circumstances and given the same opportunities and love as all kits deserve. But StarClan will have different plans for his curious and social ways. Desiring to learn about the stars and traditions of LichenClan to his atheist mother’s disgust. His relationship with his parents will be as meaningful as a maggot without a corpse to feed on. Favoring the more self-assured and composed Bonekit.

With his parents' bias against him out of his control from the moment he took his first breath, Ghostkit will grow dispassionate. Losing his ability to be affected by passion, maybe finding himself devoid of being able to imagine mutual joy with others. As a result, Ghostkit will be spiteful in enjoying the pain and humiliation of others. He’ll find himself wanting to escape his mother and will become manipulative because of it. Once Ghostkit realizes he cannot escape his mother by manipulating Bonekit, he will become ill-minded and want to hurt her.

When he is able to get past the ill-thoughts plaguing his mind, Ghostkit will have his competitive and power-hungry aspects bounced off of his brother. Even if he swears he will never feel it, there is brotherly love in their competition despite Ghostkit being despised by their mother. And their father doing what he can while still having an obvious prioritization and adoration for Bonekit.

Ghostkit will arrive in the aftermath of the violent multi-clan war where his mother fought tooth and claw not knowing she was so close to giving birth. The black smoke kit will grow as LichenClan struggles with new leadership and division. He is the only son of Hollowheart and Sootpelt to live. With Antkit and Tickkit, his two other true siblings, being still born. He and Bonekit are half-siblings by the blood they share from Duckpuddle. Ghostkit is given his name by Duckpuddle for being born barely alive and rather should have been stillborn like the other two.
