Mousesong
Redwoodclan
long-haired calico she-cat with green eyes
warrior
she-cat
15 moons
Appearance
Size wise Mousepaw was named perfectly. Barely hitting most apprentices shoulder, she is a tiny little thing that could get lost in just about any crowd,or bush for that matter. She doesn't seem to mind though. This smaller size allows her to slip into nooks most warriors can't get into, so if she needs to hide for any reason she had plenty of places that she can go.
Mousepaw's fur is a mix of oranges and brown with a white patch located on her chest. Mixed into the browns if one looks close they will notice brown tabby stripes that makes her coat even more mesmerizing to look at. On top of the blend of colors, Mousepaw follows in her ancestors heritage of having long fur. Sometimes this is the bane of her existence as since she likes to hide it will often get caught in branches or she will escape with leaves and briars stuck in the hairs.
Her eyes are a beautiful mix of green and yellow and sometimes she swears that they change depending on what light she is in. Usually wide with wonder, these little orbs seem to follow anything that moves around the camp.

Personality
Being young, Mousepaw is full of wonder and amazement by anything that happens around her. She is quick to chase after anything that gets her attention (be it a leaf or a warriors tail) and she is always ready for a new game. It's a bonus if she gets to learn something new along the way. She knows she is getting older and must be serious eventually, but while she is still young she enjoys playing in the sun as much as she can.
Although she is young, Mousepaw is very observant of what does manage to catch her eyes. If an apprentice is stalking a leaf or another unsuspecting cat, she will try to mimic them. However, most of the time she usually falls into a tumbling ball of fur as she doesn't have the patience quite yet to sit still. She loves trailing after cats and trying to copy their movements.
Overall, Mousepaw is just a happy cat and she wants those around her to be happy as well. She will go above and beyond to make sure there is a smile on each cat face that she runs into. Sometimes this makes her seem annoying to older cats as they don't understand how sometimes so small can have so much happy energy. But even when she is finally told to go away, she doesn't let it get her down. Everyone needs a little bit of happiness in their lives.

History
Vipergaze and Berrytail were your typical Redwoodclan couple. They had trained together as apprentices and as they grew older they grew closer. They loved each other dearly and were often the bane of other couples. If they could just be as happy as they were....
But under the loving gazes and moments spent together, there lied a deep sorrow. Both cats for as long as they could remember had wanted kits. However, each time Berrytail got pregnant, something would happen and the kits would be lost. Season and season, Berrytail had to push the anguish of another lost kit away and Vipergaze did everything he could to keep his mates hopes up. They were good warriors. Starclan would see that and bless them when they deemed it was time.
And eventually the time came. However, nearly until it was too late did they realize it. Unlike the other times before, Berrytail had not felt the sharp pangs of growing kits. She had not suffered the swollen belly of an expecting mother. In the heart of leaf-bare, in the middle of the night, she suddenly felt a pang of pain move through her abdomen. Scared and concerned, Vipergaze rushed to get the medicine cat. Upon looking her over, the medicine cat began scolding them both for not informing them of Berrytail's condition. Both cats stared at her in confusion before the medicine cat ordered Berrytail to the nursery and called for another queen.
Just as the sun was rising in the east, a small mewl escaped the nursery. A new member was now in Redwoodclan. The kit was tiny, barely bigger than the starved mice they had been hunting that leaf-bare, hence her new name. Berrytail and Vipergaze, though surprised were ecstatic about their new daughter.
As she grew, Mousepaw loved spending time with her family. She quickly learned that no matter what happened, you could always find a way to smile. Now six moons, Mousepaw is ready to see what else she can learn on her way to become a great warrior just like her parents.
