Sage
loner
Silver-and-white torbie molly with dark yellow eyes.
loner
female
forty-seven
Appearance
Despite her fluffy fur, Sage has a tall, somewhat slender physique. Her body is decently toned now that she's been hunting and fighting for herself, but it's still not very well-conditioned since she was not expected to do much of that before. She does make up for that with her agility and long, balancing tail. Being a very supple and well-balanced cat, she is often able to get to places that other cats can't - or won't even try to.
It's hard to tell just how slender Sage is because of her medium-long, thick fur. Her fur is also usually fluffed out due to being a bit unkempt. It gets longer, softer, and thicker around her neck and tail. That gives her neck a mane-like appearance.
Sage is a mostly silver mackerel tabby. She has a white underbelly and white paws. The most identifying trait about her is the unique, light ginger marking on her muzzle, like a big blaze. There are some splotches and spots of the same color on her legs and hindquarters.
Her triangular face is angular and sharp-looking. She has narrowed cheeks, a box-like muzzle, and a smallish pink nose. Her ears are slightly big and tall, but not so much to the point that it offsets her face. In stark contrast to her lightly colored fur, she has intense, dark, mustard-yellow eyes.

History
1st year - born in an abandoned barn, left home at 6 months old. at 8 months old found a rogue group in the outliers of a city that took her in.
Rogue group was led by a merciless, battle-hungry jerk who viewed his followers as pawns and became corrupted by his power. There was a lot of turf wars, taking over other rogue groups. His goal became to take over the other strays in the city. 'Outposts' and several camps were set up throughout the city. Eventually, all of the cats in the city feared the rogues. If an outsider ever stepped up to them, they were not heard of again.
2nd year - Sage formed a close group of friends with a few cats who, like her, didn't agree with their leader's actions but were too afraid to stand up to him for fear of what would happen. Rowan, one of her friends, started to court her. They fell in love, but Sage didn't want to have kits in the city. She feared that they would become something they weren't, or worse - die for an unjust cause. Rowan agreed, but instead of deciding not to have kits, he promised that they would make an escape. They had to be careful, though, because if they were found out - they'd be called traitors and killed for it.
3rd year - They told their other friends about it, and started forming a plan slowly over time. Little did they know, Foxglove was in love with Rowan. Upon finding out that Rowan and Sage were mates and planned to leave so they could have kits, she started to create her own plan. The day that they were getting ready to leave, Foxglove exposed them. She labeled them as traitors, and falsely accused them of working with another group that they were currently at war with.
Ghost and Sage were the only ones who made it out, none of the others did. Foxglove herself had delivered the killing blow to Rowan.
Sage found solace in her friend, Ghost, and they ran far away. Foxglove remained hard on their heels for a long time, never letting them rest.
4th year - Foxglove found them. A brutal fight ensued. Even though Fox was outnumbered, she was a powerful fighter driven by blood lust. Sage and Ghost managed to escape, knowing that the fight would not end until someone died, but they were separated.
Ghost was the one out of the two them who had any knowledge of herbs or treating wounds. Sage struggled to clean her wounds and keep them from getting infected. A fever took hold of her. That, combined with lack of sleep, caused hallucinations that frightened her. She kept seeing Foxglove, bloody and snarling; images of Rowan, his throat ripped out and eyes glazed over; the kits they never got to have.
Delirious and fatigued, Sage jumped into a lake on a dark, stormy night and prayed for it to take her life.
She came to her senses on a shore, an island she didn't know, but she decided to stay. Foxglove would likely not find her there. The cat Clans she discovered chased her away from their territories, leaving her to a somewhat secluded corner of the island. She didn't want to join them, anyway; she'd had enough of corrupted power.
