Fox claw
thistle clan
calico tabby she-cat with amber eyes
warrior
female
16 moons
Appearance
Compared to the average Thistleclanner, foxclaw is no different. She stands beside her peers with a typical build, proportionate, and unassertive. In her posture there is reluctance, feet dragged and body swaying with a lackadaisical mosey.
Foxclaw's pelt is one of calico blaze. Her fur is a short, downy foreshadow to the long, feathering pelt of her future. The texture of the fur is slick and silky as opposed to fluffing plume. Deepening coals of burnt sienna dance in the ruddy earth tones of other orange dustings. Grays and charcoal pepper her pelt to make way for the rivers of white which trail from her nose, to graze her maw, and fall onto her chest. Her tabby markings burn brightest to carve their way against her more muted cast.
The head of Foxclaw is broad and square. Her cheekbones are defined and angular, while in contrast the arches beneath her eyes are soft. With a face that rests of skeptical discontent, she is far from approachable while lost in the musings of her mind. Almond shaped amber eyes are lined with ebony. The she-cat's ears and pink and angular, parallel to that of her nose and jowls, with feathering whiskers that too, mirror the sporadic, white wisps of her ears. Her nose is button-like.
Foxclaw's voice is low and sultry. She smells of nutmeg.

Personality
attentive, daring, sangfroid, candid
wry, crass, lazy, apathetic, pleasure-seeking, self absorbed, gloomy
wry, crass, lazy, apathetic, pleasure-seeking, self absorbed, gloomy
Though she might be under the veil of snoozing, Foxclaw will always have one-ear up. She can't help it. This cat is a great listener and attentive, remembering details well.
There is very little that Foxclaw fears. She apathetically conforms to any dare, waltzing into the darkest of caves, and taking a fight with a much bigger cat (if goaded). Her daring nature will lead to successes, though she will disregard their accomplishment. In Thistleclan, Foxclaw's independence is a quality well praised. She doesn't need any permission or validation to make decisions. Foxclaw has a mind of her own.
Foxclaw is more apathetic and lazy than the average cat. She will look for short cuts in efforts and quickly becomes bored with arduous tasks. Foxclaw hates making an effort and even more so, showing her effort. Caring isn't cool. She'd rather be caught dead than acknowledged. However, this attitude can be a blessing, sangfroid, under the heats of pressure.
This young cat is crass and wry. Foxclaw swears and is quick to insult. She'll pick up the rope to goad others and get a thrill out of watching them rile. These qualities though are often done in a candid fashion, as she is not interested in manipulation and willingly speaks her mind.
To fill the void and stall some time, Foxclaw is very pleasure-seeking. Activities like sunning, indulging in good meals, herbs, and comfort satisfy her values before long-term goals and aspirations. If given the option between hard-work and honor, she'll take a few 5 seconds of fun.
Foxclaw is absorbed in her problems. She is not perceptive or empathetic towards others' realities, even if she can remember them. A lot of her chaos and dissatisfaction is self-fabricated and will solve through growth and humbling maturity. She is generally gloomy in demeanor.
After Foxclaw's fights with her family, she becomes much more flighty and evasive towards conflict. Often, Foxclaw will dismiss feelings or genuinely not invest time or energy into problems; she worries little.
History
Foxkit was born to Blazingstorm (wish ) and Cinderfeather (Silverfire ). It was a relationship kindled not of love, but misperception, and mistake. Foxkit did not know any different or better. Together she and her brother Fernkit (Egotistic ) shared the warmth tucked against their mother's doting belly.
But as the kits grew older, they experienced the turbulent love between Cinderfeather and Blazingstorm. Family outings often turned into fights, their values in stark contrast and rarely seeing eye to eye. Their parent's were so different, and young Foxkit gravitated towards her father while her brother Fernkit, to Cinderfeather. Foxkit looked up to Blazingstorm like a hero; He taught her battle moves and prepared her for the life as an apprentice. When the time finally arrived, Foxkit was assigned to the warrior Owlfang (Raven~ ).
Foxpaw and Owlfang had a cordial relationship... though her laziness was a perpetual problem in training. Foxpaw still respected Owlfang, finding a distant father figure in him and often entertaining the mentor with one-sided, playful banter. It was also during her apprenticeship that Foxpaw met one of her few friends, Black-kit (wish ), who challenged her to a brawl in camp over a piece of fresh-kill.
Towards the end of Foxpaw's apprenticeship, Foxpaw's understanding of family was broken. In the middle of ThistleClan camp, Cinderfeather and Blazingstorm had a public meltdown over Blazingstorm's unveiled infidelity. After, Foxpaw wanted nothing to do with her family, and the guilt and shame which came. Foxpaw also grew further from Fernpaw during this time. The worst of their conflict reared after Cinderfeather revealed to be carrying another litter with a new tom. Disgusted by the concept of her new "replacement" family, Foxpaw demanded that Fernpaw disown them. Their heated argument grew into a brawl. After, Foxpaw was never quite the same.
Foxclaw received her warrior name on time at 12 moons. She joined Owlfang in the island battle against Lichenclan.
