Appearance
Quailpaw is a medium-sized cat with paws that are just a bit too large for her body size. She has a muscular build with broad shoulders that give her a powerful stance. Her large paws contain thick claws that are more dull than sharp.
Quailpaw is a dark brown tabby. Her base coat is a deep brown and when in the bright sunlight will lighten to a dark golden color with a hint of red around her nose. The tabby stripes are a deep dark brown that almost looks black against her lighter underbelly. Her tabby markings are thinner overall. They stand out on her legs, face, and back. The markings are more abundant on her back, making the area darker along her spine. With a thick, long coat, Quailpaw's tabby markings are less predominant on her sides and chest. When Quailpaw sits or lays down her chest fur fluffs out almost looking like a mane.
Quailpaw's face is angular, more round around her ears, and narrows in around her muzzle. She has a rusty brown nose and, that color extends to the short fur above her muzzle and fades to brown between her eyes. Quailpaw has a white chin that fades into brown at her chest. She has short white whiskers that blend into her face. Quailpaw's ears are dark brown and rounded at the top. She has hazel eyes, that are greener near the iris and a pale yellow around the edges. In bright sunlight, her eyes look more yellow than green.
