Brightflower, despite her unassuming name, is a cat of substantial height. She stands just as tall as the huge males in her clan. Her body is large and robust, and underneath her mass of thick long fur are trained muscles, which the molly is more than willing to use in combat. Along with the molly's muscle is a fine amount of fat. All of this serves to make the feline look huge in size.
Due to Brightflower's Norwegian Forest Cat origin, she shares a lot of physique with the angular felines. Her face seems to be smaller than her body. And unlike huge cats like Maine Coon's, her face is wedge shaped, almost like an oriental cat. She has strong, long legs and her tail stretches out far behind her. Her long muzzle ends in a brick red nose, and her small lemon shaped eyes are a splendid pale green.
Lastly, Brightflower's pelt matches her name--bright. Her fur is mostly a bright red color. However, unlike the standard red tabby, her fur also boasts a pale silver color underneath her mackerel tabby stripes. Her fur is extremely long and thick. While it does a great job as a shield to claws and the cold winter air, it performs poorly in water. It takes hours for it to get dry again.

Personality
Brightflower has always been bent on making sure her clan-mates are always properly cared for. Calling Brightflower caring is an understatement. Most of her actions are aimed towards aiding others. And with the recent death of her youngest son, the tabby molly can't help but be unhealthily cautious. With anxieties of her current comrades ending up like her dead family, Brightflower goes out of her way to make sure that those she cares for are always safe - almost to an overbearing extent. It isn't rare to find the substantial feline listening up on conversations in the clearing. She wouldn't be herself without her nosiness. Nothing is a secret to Brightflower. She just has to know if everyone's okay.
Brightflower's will to protect those she loves has recently shaped her into a controlling molly. While completely subconscious, the mackerel tabby thinks that she knows what's best for other cats and often tries to get others to do and see what she thinks is right. She's more than willing to go behind the scenes to change the things that happen in a friends life. And with these notions, Brightflower can be extremely impulsive. She never really bothers to think of the future and is usually stuck in the present or the past. There really isn't anything she wouldn't do to make sure that what she thinks is right will happen. She has good intentions, definitely, but these actions certainly aren't appreciated by the victims of her controlling nature.
Despite Brightflowers's aptitude to dictate other's lives, she's still a very approachable feline, her social confidence being more than enough to draw others in. She's never struggled to talk and say what's on her mind. Brightflower is opinionated, always saying what she believes without thought. She will never hesitate to fight for her morals. However, because of her authoritative behavior, she can be extremely domineering and intolerant to others ideas. Again, she tends to think she knows whats best. Still, Brightflower's will to help others shouldn't be ignored as she will always aim to make sure her clan is safe.

History
Amber-rose and Embernose became incredibly aware of their daughter's tendency of loving too much when the large Brightkit came running into the nursery with tears streaking her face. The couple had never seen a kit sob so much before. They were quick to press their daughter for answers, in which Brightkit swiftly explained that her best friend, Heatherkit, didn't want to be friends with her anymore. Sure, the 2 had fought over something completely absurd--and the 2 would be comrades again a few days later--but the idea of losing a cat Brightkit cared about was enough for the young RedwoodClan kit to handle. The parents assumed their kit would learn to cope with her immense emotions in the future, but they seemed to only grow worse.
Brightkit and Heatherkit earned mentors together. They were elated to receive a pair of siblings to mentor them each. The 4 trained together often, and the friendship between the 2 slowly grew. However, Brightkit found herself clinging more and more to her pale colored comrade as Amber-rose found himself at the mercy of green-cough. The thought of losing her father was far too much for Brightpaw to handle and the red feline often used Heatherpaw to distract her from her fathers mortality.
It only took a moon for the illness to take her dad. Brightpaw was devastated. Suddenly, she couldn't look at her clan-mates without fear. What if they died? These few moons after Amber-rose's death, left the loving Brightpaw in a shell of depression that not even Heatherpaw could erase.
Brightpaw didn't start to come out of that hole until she was in her final days as an apprentice. While tending to the elders one day, she couldn't help but crack a smile at the thought of helping the decrepit elders with their issues. Sure, she was only ridding their pelts of ticks, but they seemed happy with the little things despite the fact that they were growing older by the day. In a matter of days, the large molly found herself in a better mindset. She could be helping the cats she loved.. Instead of worrying about their deaths... She could protect them!
Suddenly, Brightpaw was bright again. She found solace in helping her clan-mates and she began to flourish in the battle training she formally hadn't cared about. She loved her clan-mates, and now she was excited to show it. The change in Brightpaw's attitude inspired the clan and the leader was quick to name her -flower when she turned 12 moons. The name represented the sudden growth in her nurturing nature.
The name fit. After all, the first thing on Brightflower's mind upon becoming a warrior was kits. She wanted nothing more than to have a family, and the only cat on her mind was Heatherpaw, who had earned the name Stormstriike beside her. She loved every cat in the clan, but she loved Stormstrike most. However, the 2 had never talked about romance, and the idea scared her. Suddenly, she was a kit again, crying over a petty squabble that the two had had. But she couldn't just sit and ignore her feelings. One night, she brought the white ctom to the waterfall, where she confessed her feelings. Stormstrike shared her feelings, and the 2 quickly courted.
Two moons later, Brightflower was hollering in the nursery as she birthed 4 kits in whom she named Shadowkit, Ghostkit, Spiritkit, and Cloudkit. She and Stormstrike had chosen unique names, but Brightflower figured she'd use names that matched just how unique each kit was.
The red queen did her best to raise her litter the best she could. And she thought she had been a good mother, but the trials she would have to face as the quartet became apprentices would prove otherwise. It started with Shadowpaw. Greencough clenched him tightly, and he never made it past his first leaf-bare. Cloudpaw lost her life in a skirmish and Spiritpaw drowned. The death of 3 out of 4 of her kits left the molly traumatized, but she tried to stay strong for her remaining son. However, Stormstrike's death broke her, and she found it hard to hide her hurt. Why was StarClan doing this to her?
Brightflower is still grieving all the lost in her life, but she has once again found solace in frequenting the nursery. She loves helping the queens through the process of kit birth, and the queen's definitely appreciate a molly who will keep a careful eye on their kits as they take their breaks. But it can't be denied that Brightflower is definitely a different cat now. She had once been carefree and resilient, but now her mind is riddled with anxieties and she is anything but resilient.
