Sleek, dusty brown-grey tabby tom

Parsnippaw is smaller than other cats of his age, though is still the average size of an apprentice. His muscles are dense under his coat, but his fur is nowhere near as long or fluffy, instead being closer to medium length, and sleek, close to his body. Aside from this, the tom displays much of the same qualities of other RedwoodClan cats, with rugged and sharp claws, and thick pawpads that make tree climbing less painful, and a longer tail to help with balance. He seems to be more mature in stature, with a thinner face and long legs - longer than average. His pelt markings are similar to his father, with mackerel stripes crossing over the fur, broken up by gaps to give an almost spotted appearance. His fur colour also resembles his father more than his mother, being a lighter version of his father's brown colour.

✔ Kind
Much like his mother, Parsnippaw has a soft and kind heart, and a drive to help others who may not be happy. She isn't as self-sacrificing as her, though, and will help others without sacrificing himself too much. It pains him to ignore cats who may need help, though, but he understands that he does need to think of himself first, because if he isn't in a good condition, how is he supposed to help others when he can't help himself?

✔ Sensible
Parsnippaw has a mature and sensible head on his shoulders, allowing him to evaluate things in a rational way. The ability to put his emotions temporarily aside when looking at certain scenes allows him to be efficient and quick with his reactions, and figure out what is best for every party involved.

✘ A bit 'too' sensible
While Parsnippaw is generally easy to get on with and good to have a laugh alongside, he will not get caught up in anything that he might deem as rule-breaking or risky, even if it isn't against the code or even that dangerous. He is very careful with what he get involved in, which sometimes leads to others leaving him out due to his hesitation.

✘ Evasive
Parsnippaw has a tendancy to avoid any topics he finds difficult or struggles to confront, instead finding any way to change the topic. He'll keep doing this until directly confronted, at which point he'll usually cave due to the stress. He can't handle such topics, not knowing what to say or speak in such situations.

Parsnipkit was born to Beewing and Bumbletwist of RedwoodClan, with two siblings - Chervilkit and Chivekit. He was always the odd one out, with his grey fur carrying tints of a dusty brown, striking as odd against his mothers dar, grey pelt and his fathers dark brown one, although it prevented any rumours about him not being his father's kit. He still heard many whispers of his mother being suspected as a half-clan cat, although Beewing herself disputes this.

When he was around two moons old, Parsnipkit was the only one of his litter to avoid catching kittencough, which developed further. While his sister survived, Chervilkit perished when his case of kittencough developed into greencough. He doesn't remember Chervilkit that well anymore, but tried to be strong for his mother. 

The rest of Parsnipkit's kithood was relatively normal, if a bit sheltered due to Beewing worrying that her other son may fall victim to something or other, like his brother. Nothing befell him, though. Though apprehensive about his apprenticeship at first, Parsnippaw grew into the role when it was assigned, happily taking on the patrols that others didn't seem so keen to do - he liked just walking around and taking things in (and also, he wasn't too comfortable in his hunting skills, so that made sure that that remained hidden). Overall, though, Parsnippaw has always tried to be there for other people. He's quieter than his sister, and more understanding.
