Frostkit was born runty and small. Easy prey for the frost the clung to his pelt to carry away. But despite the odds, the young kit survived. Over time he will keep his small runty physic. His thin frame will enable him to fit where others cannot, giving him the advantage to hide and explore places others have never been to. A thin, long tail trails behind him. With age and training his frail looking muscles have potential to gain strength and bring a since of firmness to the currently delicate appearing kit. Smooth black fur blankets Frostkit's pelt. Not a hint of pale white streaks his fur. 

His face is round and soft. But his pale blue eyes reveal a fierceness in him that his stature and face do not. The perceptive blue orbs are constantly roving across his surroundings, observing everything and constantly on edge for danger. All subtle signs of the kits deafness revealing itself.

Observant: Frostkit is highly observant. Not only does he pick up on changes in the environment or the approach of others faster, the tom also sense the social and emotional feelings and changes of those around him. With his deafness he has learned how to read faces and body language better and at a young age than other cats.
Hardworking: Due to treatment of others, Frostkit has learned he is different. Although he does not understand the concept or word of 'hearing', he knows that there are some things other cats notice that he does not: sounds. With others treating him differently, Frostkit with age will come to be a hard worker, dedicated to proving himself a capable warrior and member of ThistleClan.

Dedicated: To those who can break through Frostkit's defensive walls, they will find a friend truly dedicated to them. Those who are willing to meet Frostkit where he is in order to communicate with him will learn that he cares deeply for those who gain his trust. 

Defensive: Because of his deafness, Frostkit is very defensive. When others sneak up on him or surprise him, he lashes at them with claws unsheathed. This defensive nature of his comes out highly aggressive. If cats are unwilling to realize what triggers the young tom (such as coming up from behind where he cannot see), they would find him irritating and unmanageable. A part of this defensiveness is also reflected in his behaviors toward others. If he notices a cat is being shunned or treated differently by others, he will treat them the same way, hoping to gain better acceptance in his Clan.

Easily Frustrated: With his deafness, at first Frostkit might have a hard time figuring out how to complete tasks. He gets frustrated trying to understand what his clanmates may be trying to communicate, and frustrated with trying to figure out his place in his Clan and family as well.

Born in frost and snow, Frostkit and his sister were unwanted by their mother. Brought to the warmth of a loving heart, they will be raised believing themselves to be the kits of Morningmist and Yewthorn. But with age and time, their true heritage will be discovered, and life as Frostkit understood it will be forever changed.
