Appearance
a Siamese she-cat with blue eyes
Cranefeather carries the usual coloration of a Siamese cat, with dark brown fur around the face, paws, and tail. Her back is dusted with a gradient that darkens toward her tail, while her chest and belly is completely white. Cranefeather's fur is short and easily kept clean with little maintenance. Her most striking feature is a pair of bright blue eyes coupled with a round face, giving her a constantly inquisitive and curious look. Her ears are a dark brown-black and sharply pointed. In stature, she is on the smaller and shorter end. Her body structure makes her appear dainty and innocence, with mostly rounded corners and soft curves.

Personality
sincere - diligent - introverted - anxious - mistrustful
On the outside, Cranefeather appears quite delicate, soft-spoken, and kind. She is a shy cat that tries to keep to herself as much as possible. As a warrior, Cranefeather is a reliable and diligent worker, someone who will get the job done when needed. Her Clan respects her, but few are able to get close to her or understand her. Cranefeather herself is actually quite vain, trying her hardest to keep up a persona. Keeping her fur meticulously groomed and making sure her face was a complete poker face has become part of her routine. She fears losing her Clan's respect and subsequently being an outcast. In fact, she fears losing her loved ones more than anything and will ironically push them away to avoid losing them completely.
Cranefeather currently lacks any religious belief in StarClan or other ancestors. Her apprenticeship and early warriorhood was only plagued by cats demanding and policing her beliefs, which has only resulted in her lack of religion. However, she is a good actor for the most part and has been able to keep this to herself. At the same time, it is a huge source of Cranefeather's anxious and jumpy demeanor. Every small incident causes Cranefeather to stay up for many sleepless nights. She can often be spotted sitting outside instead of sleeping, lost in her own thoughts and wishing for some company.
If any cat is able to get close to Cranefeather, they will find that she is actually a sincere and understanding she-cat. While often passive about her ideals, Cranefeather does not allow others to change her beliefs and will hold on to the things she loves, such as her family, to the end.

History
MOTHER: Warblerpelt - adoptable
FATHER: Patchclaw - adoptable
BROTHER: Sparrowheart - played by moony
SISTER: unnamed - adoptable
MENTOR: Ripplefur - adoptable
Little Cranekit was born alongside two sisters to Warblerpelt and Patchclaw in the height of green-leaf. In her younger days, she knew little about hardships and played with her siblings with all the vigor and energy that kits should have. She loved and looked up to her mother and father as the cats she aspired to live up to.
However, their apprentice ceremony was a shocking introduction to the religious fervor of their leader and much of the Clan. Cranekit had not grown up with such beliefs. Patchclaw and Warberpelt explained in secret that night the real state of the Clan, and Cranekit was dismayed. She could not imagine a StarClan would enforce such strict traditions that stifled cats who questioned otherwise. She had looked forward to growing up in the LichenClan that her parents had spoken of, and was only now realizing these were stories of the past.
To make matters worse, she was apprenticed under the devoted Minnowstar follower, Ripplefur. Under his iron paw, Cranepaw cowered and became incredibly withdrawn. Ripplefur began to surveillance every part of her life, and Cranepaw had to avoid her siblings and talk of politics as much as possible. She grew to fear the large and manipulative tom that was her mentor, and envied the closeness and trust other mentor-apprentice pairs seemed to have.
Throughout her rough apprenticeship, Cranepaw could not bring herself to display the same religious fervor that Ripplefur and Minnowstar seemed to show, and she certainly could not condemn cats who believed otherwise. Her mentor's punishments only drove her further away from StarClan, to the point where she no longer believed these mythical starry cats existed at all. If they did, surely they would help her in some way?
However, she had to fake religious beliefs for her own sake as to not incite Ripplefur's fiery temper. Despite slowly being forced to keep her distance from them, Cranepaw still loved and valued her family, refusing to betray them and the idealistic vision of LichenClan she once had. Cranepaw became a very anxious cat, constantly looking over her shoulder for her mentor's sharp blows and stinging comments. Despite working her hardest, nothing was ever enough for Ripplefur.
Upon becoming a warrior, Cranepaw was named Cranefeather, a name which Ripplefur scoffed at and said it was a result of her soft kittypet-like demeanor. Cranefeather thought that she would be free of her mentor's control once she became a warrior, but she was very wrong. Ripplefur still insisted on checking in on her almost every morning and coaxed her into spending time with him. Cranefeather fears that Ripplefur is grooming her as if she was his own daughter, or worse, his mate. As a warrior, she has tried to reach out to her siblings and reconnect with her family. However, Cranefeather's biggest fear is Ripplefur or Minnowstar finding out about her atheistic beliefs and deeming her beloved family as heathens.
