got my greedy eyes on Crux; here are my ideas
name change to Axel—meaning father of peace
new fc
Plot plans: Crux has lived the avoidant lifestyle of a loner since leaving his neglectful mother at nine moons old; however, his true potential lies not in solitude, but in the company of others. Having been known to aid clan cats before, Crux would disregard his mother's advice to "never trust a clan cat" and try his best to offer support to Thistleclan in their battle against Lily's rogues. I hope, at some point, for him to have assisted enough to be considered for entry into the clan; while this would definitely prove difficult, I believe it to be possible—Crux could help turn the tides in favor of the clan cats because, due to his standing as a loner, he could be used as a spy to infiltrate Lily's ranks.
If eventually granted access to Thistleclan for his services, I'd like for Crux to be apprenticed—both as a kind of hazing ritual and to teach him how best to conform to clan customs. After receiving a warrior name, I'd hope for him to find love and possibly even have kits of his own, or at least be trusted enough by the mothers of Thistleclan to be allowed time with their kits. It wouldn't take long for him to become extremely loyal to his new clan, going so far as to risk his life for them.
Personality ideas: gentle, kind, romantic, reserved, resourceful, sensitive, timid
I see Crux as a reserved cat, keeping to himself out of an interest in preserving the integrity of his soft heart and sensitive feelings; he is kind, gentle, and an absolutely hopeless romantic—a familial cat who was left to fend for himself against the cruel clutches of solitude. Living alone may have taught him how to be resourceful and inventive, but has also left him stunted socially, which manifests in his extremely timid nature around other cats. Now make no mistake, Crux is more than capable of defending himself—after all, he's managed on his own for this long—but he prefers to avoid conflict whenever possible; perhaps if he had something more meaningful to defend, this would be different.
