Rippleflower
Lichenclan
Blue classic tabby with mid white and hazel eyes
warrior
she-cat
14 moons
Appearance
Rippleflower is a bit on the smaller end of cats, though still larger than her sister. But her build is distinctly different, leaning towards the stockier cobby side than a lean elegant one. Her legs are a bit shorter, and her body is longer, thicker, and rounder, though its not as obviously as it might be if she had long fur. Her tail is similar to her sister's at least, long and slim, a lovely counterbalance to lend to her more stout appearance.
In contrast to her body, her face is fairly small, almost perfectly round, with a dainty muzzle and slightly larger (by comparison) ears. Her eyes are a lively green-yellow color, bright and warm like spring leaf buds. They fit well with the colors of her pelt, the warm gray-tan undertone of the base of her coat, cover with the darker gray swirls of classic tabby for which she was named, like ripples spreading across the water. And in keeping with her Lichenclan heritage, her neck, chest, and belly are white, as well as her muzzle and different lengths of her legs.

Personality
+ Dedicated
+ Passionate
= Maternal
= Zealous
- Bitter
- Proud
Rippleflower is the perfect example of the most devout Lichenclan cat. She firmly believes and Starclan and their power, their ability to influence and affect the daily lives of her and her clanmates. She also is a firm follower of Minnowstar, seeing her cause as just and necessary. This unfortunately puts her well into the territory of zealoutry when it comes to her faith, as she believes it so strongly it takes precedence over everything and shapes her life.
But perhaps that is because she is a passionate cat. Rippleflower doesnt do anything by half, its either all in or nothing at all. She cares deeply for those who are important to her, and shows her dedication in every way. Ride or die would be the perfect way to describe her. Someone who really just doesnt know how to dial it down.
Unfortunately this also means if her feelings and her efforts aren't reciprocated, she feels betrayed. And her sister is chief among her list of traitors. In fact her strong emotions make her easily bitter, and she holds her hurts close to her for a long long time.
To make up for those feelings, she convinces herself she is above those other cats, better than them. She became a warrior before her sister, before her peers, apparently skilled enough to warrant the recognition of Minnowstar herself. And clearly she is a very devoted cat! he just must be the best of the younger warriors.
But she isnt settled, she still feels like something is missing, and no matter how hard she prays to Starclan, their only answer is silence.

History
Ripplekit was born to a pair of devout Lichenclan cats, with a single sister, Briarkit. From birth they were taught about Starclan, raised in the ways of Lichenclan, to respect and even fear the awe and might of Starclan. Starclan was always watching, always judging, always looking for the pure of heart and purpose. Ripplekit soaked it up. She saw herself as the one to inherit the great burden of Starclan's light, that she would be the one to spread it to her drifting clanmates and the other clans in general. At first she wasn't sure how, until she realized she knew the perfect way. Ripplekit wanted to become a medicine cat. So she began to find excuses to visit Cinderface's den, shadowed her, tried to engage her in discussions of the might of Starclan and the honor of being a medicine cat. It didnt work very well, she found herself being gently pushed aside for being in the way of work. But she didn't care, and she continued in her persistence to prove she would be the perfect apprentice for Cinderface.
She might have managed it too, if it weren't for her meddling sister. One day out of nowhere her mild sister showed up claiming she had had a vision from Starclan about the medicine den. And with that, Ripplekit's dreams of being a medicine cat went to dirt. Her sister, who hadnt even really wanted to be a medicine cat was now Cinderface's apprentice! Ripplekit was furious, betrayed, hurt. For a few brief days she had a crisis of belief, was it Starclan who had betrayed her? But no that was too much for her to handle so she settled on the obvious other choice. Clearly it must have been her sister lying!
With her sister as new medicine cat apprentice, she was apprenticed soon after to a devout warrior. They saw her potential and her zealous desire to serve the clan and decided to shape and temper it. At first Ripplepaw fought and drove herself to be the best, to be better than all the apprentices. She desperately wanted to prove that Briarpaw wasn't better than her, that she had lied about the vision from Starclan. But as the moons went on, Briarpaw settled into her role, and eventually so did Ripplepaw. Sure Ripplepaw was still bitter and angry, but she had moved on from the idea of being a medicine cat, now she wanted to be a warrior, but also... to be a queen. After all what better way to ensure the future of the clan than to raise its next generation in the proper way? So along with her training she spent time in the nursery when she could, helping out with watching the kits.
Her dedication was obvious and very vocal, and she spoke up loudly in clan meetings in support of Minnowstar's policies and plans. As the time came for her apprenticeship to end, she made sure she was visible to Minnowstar, despite her leader's obvious busy schedule, and how she sometimes seemed to uh misplace Ripplepaw's name. But Ripplepaw's dedication and pestering (cough bootlicking cough) paid off, as Minnowstar at least realized that she was old enough (and moderately skilled) enough to be a warrior. Rippleflower had her warrior at 13 moons, before several of her peers, and she beamed in pride and just a little gloating because of it.
But then, when it counted most, she wasnt chosen to fight. Frustrated, dejected, she waited at camp to hear the news of the great battle, to know that despite having been made a warrior first, she wasnt even asked to fight for her clan. So now she finds herself conflicted, hurt, and lonely. More lonely than ever before.
