At first glance, it’s easy to mistake Falconpaw for a small version of his father. With a narrow muzzle that ends is a gray nose, long ears, and amber eyes the exact same shade of amber as his father’s, looking into his face is almost like looking into Falconfire’s face.
At second glance, however, you’ll realize how… different he is. While Falconfire’s eyes were harsh and judgmental, Falconpaw’s eyes are soft. Kind. His ears are long, like his father’s, but his are expressive. Drooping and perking and wiggling with every emotion.
His coat, while the exact same shade of blue-gray as his father’s, sports swirled classic tabby stripes instead of the mackerel striped of his father. It’s extremely soft, thick, and well groomed. His cheeks are quite fluffy, though it does little to disguise his narrow muzzle.
Situated on his chest, is a small, elongated spot. One that looks almost like a small raindrop. Besides this, the only white he has on him are his soft, snow white paws, ones that look incredibly similar to his mother’s white paws.
At six moons old, Falconpaw is almost completely grown, though he still has a bit more growing to do. When he’s done, he’ll stand at about 9.5”. Slightly smaller than his father, and definitely smaller than his mother. He is deceptively tall, however, as he tends to keep his head lowered and his fur flat in an attempt to appear as small as possible.

Personality
+ Accepting - While Falconpaw may look like his father, his personality is anything but. Nowhere is this more obvious than his unwavering acceptance for anyone. Unlike his parents, he couldn’t care less where you come from or what you believe in. He thinks of everyone as a friend. It doesn’t matter what Wavefrost tells him, he doesn’t believe in anyone being “evil” or a “sinner”.
+ Kind - Further separating him from his father, and his mother for that matter, is his kindness. He likes seeing cats smile, so he does his best to make them happy. He does everything to make others happy, and if often complimenting others on how their pelt looks well groomed or how he likes seeing them around camp. If you look sad, he’s the kind of cat to bring a flower to you to try to cheer you up.
+ Helpful - Coming from the same reason as his kindness, Falconpaw is helpful because he likes seeing cats happy. He’ll fetch you prey, nest material, herbs, a pebble, a shell… anything you might need, he’ll get. Just so long as he doesn’t have to fight that is.
+ Pacifist - Despite never seeing an actual battle, Falconpaw despises the idea of fighting. Even the play fights in the nursery make him very nervous. He doesn’t like the idea of hurting others, and he’d much rather talk to them than actually fight. It doesn’t matter if they’re hurting him. He’ll still try to talk to them.
+ Forgiving - It’s hard to get Falconpaw to hold a grudge. He’s exceptionally forgiving, his pacifist nature causing him to avoid as much conflict as possible. You could beat him up, steal his food, or threaten him, and he’ll most likely try to apologize to you for it. To not forgive is to invite conflict. And conflict is bad.
- Cowardly - Falconpaw… isn’t exactly what one would call brave. He is actually quite the opposite. It’s extremely easy to scare him. Shadows, thunder, the dark, stories of his father… they all scare him.
- Clingy - Falconpaw is desperate for attention from others, to the point where he’ll beg them not to leave or will drape himself over them in an attempt to stop them from leaving. He’s okay on his own, but he is desperate for love from his family and friends. Perhaps too desperate.
- Meek - It’s extremely easy to walk over Falconpaw. He’s very meek, unable to stand up for himself. He will bend to the other cat’s wills with ease, even forcing himself to do things he despises just to keep the peace with them. It makes him an easy target of bullying, as he will just take it quietly instead of standing up for himself.
- Insecure - Falconpaw is an extremely insecure cat. He feels like everything will fall apart without any notice, and it will all be his fault. His family. His clan. Himself…. Everything. If he so much as takes one misstep, it’ll all be gone.
- Haunted - Despite how young he is… Falconpaw is haunted. Haunted by the shadow of Falconfire that hangs over him, he feels as if he must follow in his father’s every pawstep. He feels as if cats see him as his father, and are judging him for everything he does. He feels as if Falconfire is always there, watching him from StarClan. Ready to cast him to hell for not being able to follow in his footsteps.
History
For all intents and purposes, the family Falconkit was born into should’ve been perfect. A mother and a father, both more than willing to give their lives to serve StarClan. A brother and a sister blessed by StarClan.
It should’ve been great. Wavefrost (spotty) and Falconfire (c a n n a) loved each other. They were both highly respected in the clan. They fought tooth and claw for both the clan and each other. His sister, Holypaw (c a n n a) is being mentored by Tidechaser, an extremely well respected molly in the clan. His brother, Sacredlight (Egotistic) was mentored by Yarrowstar. He should have been born to a happy family.
Except… Falconfire never made it to his birth. Never even knew he was conceived even. He lost his life in a border skirmish with RedwoodClan, saving Sacredlight from a battle that was caused by his own hatred.
When Falconkit was born, his mother saw his father within him, which made sense. After all, he’s the spitting image of his father. The eldest of a litter of three, it is extremely clear to him from the beginning that he is supposed to be Falconfire. He’s supposed to fallow him in every. Single. Fashion.
So that’s what he’s trying to do.
Despite this, he’s not really good at doing so. He knows he should be strong and prideful, he’s not. Instead, he’s a meek lover. He adores his brother Floodkit (Storm) and sister Fireflykit (captain), and would love nothing more than to spend more time with them.
His kithood was hardly remarkable, as he really only spent time with his littermates and mother, barely leaving the nursery. Despite the many other kits on the nursery, he always found himself sticking to his family, too afraid of doing something to make the other- powerful- queens mad at him. This changed one night, however.
When he was five moons old, he and his siblings were woken up int the middle of the night by Wavefrost, and were taken to the Mooncave to see Lilacmist. There, she baptized them in secret.
The next moon, Falconkit became Falconpaw, and was apprenticed to Shimmerscale (Kazuko), a choice that gave him immense relief. He had expected a fierce mentor like his older siblings got, but instead found himself with a more supportive one.
Now free to start training the young tom hopes to start walking in his father’s pawsteps. Hopefully, that odd call to the nursery he feels will go away soon.
