The Apostles is a warrior cats roleplay based in northern Wisconsin. On Lake Superior, the wild cats have made the Apostle Islands their home. It is on these islands - Rocky Island and South Twin Island - that the clan and tribe cats have lived in a peace and harmony that ebbs and flows with the tide.
But as the tides turn, so does the truce that binds them to one another; and as the water raises, a darkness follows, an evil that will end in bloodshed and violence.
Silverfire, I like the direction you're taking Patchclaw! You can have him. As long as the bio is up and accepted in a month's time I don't mind a short wait! After a month without an accepted bio I put the adopts back up, and then after a month with out a member signing into the site unless they notify me about their absence I put the adopts back up.
c a n n a, I love that idea for Warblerpelt and would totally be okay if you change the suffix. You can definitely have a light hold on her if you want, I hope you take her because I would love to see these family dynamics play out between them all!
And then FYI for both of you, I think now with the aging up that Sparrowheart has done it makes the best sense for the mom and dad to be early to mid 40's in their age! possibly late 30's if you want them to have been very young parents when Sparrowheart's litter was born.
Also, since it's been about a month since Captain has been on both of Sparrowheart's sisters are available again

Loudstorm's sister is back up for adoption! Her name is open to change as well. Also be sure to check out Sparrowheart's two sisters and mother in LichenClan!

hello hello moony i am making eyes at one of sparrowheart's sisters (also apologies in advance for this essay of an infodump pfft)
i would like a cat who could be on the rebellion's side, but more quietly and not start out as a hard and fast rebel. given her father (and brother's) involvement with the rebellion, i think she would have good reason to see more of their viewpoints as she interacts with her family. even if she is neutral or traditional aligned when i create her, she could pretty naturally turn onto the rebel's side due to her predetermined relations.
she'd be much more mellow than sparrow, oftentimes overshadowed by him and his outspokenness. i'd love for them to be close, maybe he's a little pushy and talks over her sometimes but she wouldn't mind. she'd really like him regardless, despite knowing that their mother favors him... she understands why and doesn't hold grudges (at least outwardly). she has a little bit of those tired but amused sister vibes of "oh, here we go again" whenever sparrow gets himself going. i'm not sure if she would ask him to stop, mostly nod and idly listen along (she's heard it all before) as long as they weren't around others where it may be unwise to share too much. eventually his "outspoken ramblings" could start to strike true with her? and if Silverfire is okay with it, i'd love it if she and her father were close too! (i'd chat with silv and we can plot their relationship further).
i'm playing around with her being a bit of a slacker (contrary to sparrow), as she either easily fades into the background or is good enough at hiding it to get away with it. mostly she wants to just cruise along and not cause waves... something that's likely to change as she becomes more involved with that darned rebellion. i'd like her to struggle with apathy and connecting with others, making her more of a loner even in the usually keeping-to-themselves lichenclan. she has the reputation of being almost ghost-like, just quiet and solemn and alone much of the time. maybe she'll have an easy time being manipulative too? or at least have more of a silver tongue than she initially seems—since she doesn't talk a lot—and because manipulation is a fairly common tactic in the clan. overall she reads like just another mysterious lichenclan warrior, but will do more than she says on the tin as a rebellious attitude starts to seep in.
i was actually thinking of egret- for a name when i first took interest in the adopt, as i think a bird theme would be cute and i have a soft spot for the prefix. but that was before i knew such a big figure in lichenclan plot was named egretfeather xD so i'm not sure whether it would be confusing, or whether the family/clan wouldn't accept her being named that. depending on what you think (and whether silv thinks that patch would be okay with it), she could have been given the name in honor of egretfeather, and has to both live up to it and bear the weight of it. it would put her in the limelight sometimes, where she doesn't particularly want to be. given that their families fall on egretfeather's side it's plausible? but it could also contradict with warblerpelt wanting to shelter her kits from clan politics. if egret- wouldn't work, i also really like the prefixes loon-, osprey-, and tern- (goose- is cute too). i'd have to get back to you on suffixes, off the top of my head i'd consider -cloud, -bloom, and -wing for her. depending on what your vision of warblerpelt is, i can definitely swap faceclaims around—to stay along the colorpoint route i have izzy, shunso, and tasha picked out c:

owl these ideas make me really excited! I love the dynamic that such a personality would bring to Sparrows family and would be happy if you wanted to play one of his sisters. I could see them being close in their own way, and Sparrow would definitely be the type to talk over her unintentionally. But he would also be protective and caring of her as well.
I think based off of Warblerpelt's concern she would fight tooth and claw to not have any of her children named after Egretfeather since that would automatically bring eyes to their family that she would not want on them. Out of the other options you listed I really like Osprey- but I'd been fine with any of them that you listed.
I'm pretty flexible with face claims and always envisioned their family being one filled with color points. I love the unique coloring and markings on Izzy and so that is my favorite, but again I'd be fine with you using any of those three!
Feel free to plot out how her relationship with Patch would be like with Silv, and if you want to work out more details with Sparrowheart we can certainly do that as well!

woo i'm glad you like my ideas for her!! she and sparrow would differ in many ways but their unbreakable sibling bond keeps 'em together (thus far and hopefully forever). it'll be interesting to see how they play off of one another, since they definitely care about one another despite their different personalities and opinions currently.
that makes total sense for egret-, maybe it was suggested by patch and warbler went "no way, absolutely not" (again, something i'd have to ask silv about). i'll go with osprey- for her prefix, i like the contrast it has with sparrow- and it's a bird that most are more familiar with over loon and tern (it also fits the appearance of a seal/tortie point best, even if she would have been mostly white at birth). i'll be deliberating a little more on the face claim since i like all three of them equally. and i'll reach out as i get started on her bio since i'll probably need to to work out the family relationships a little more! silv if you see this i will be hitting you up sometime in the near future xD

Hey moony, wanted to ask if I could snatch up miss Warblerpelt! Here are my ideas for her!
She's a perma queen and a closeted lesbian, not even realizing it herself. Patchstrike is her best friend but she's not in love with him (even if she doesn't realize it) And is just trying to live her life as a quiet queen. But she can't bc she's "falling" out of love with her mate and is having a hard time connecting to him, along with the rebellion going on which is stressing her out. She's the type to have her own thoughts be too scared to voice them. This coming from a family who was VERY religious and wanted her to be perfect, so she pretends to be perfect when she's not. She'll eventually fall in love with another queen, owls gorl Morel and it'll just cause Havoc in the family!
I hope you like these ideas! I also wanted to know if I could change her suffix? I was thinking something more to fit her personality?
jinxy go for it! I'll be curious how this plot will affect the family as a whole. Feel free to change the suffix. With age ups Warbler will be around the 60 moon mark now to match with Patchstrike but otherwise everything should be relatively the same as listed in the adopt listing.

I'd love to snatch up Sparrow's other sister if she's still up for grabs!
here's what I was thinking for her ^^ I'd go with this fc and I was thinking Merlin- for the prefix to keep the bird theme and -tail for stealth/good hunting. (and to match the rest of the family with their traditional suffixes ;})
Merlintail is a very likable cat, she's good-natured, mischievous. Maybe she has a tendency to be impulsive. And it’s no question why she’s been overlooked for mentoring thus far when the older warriors catch her more than once passing on interesting ‘advice’ to the newer apprentices. Irresponsibility aside, Merlintail is an overall decently-respected warrior.
I think her beliefs in Starclan are very... light. She believes, but not anywhere close to her clanmates. She's more apathetic to the stars. What use are the dead to the living ? In her eyes, they're no more able to change things than the living. She lives in the moment and that much is obvious.
I see her as being light on her feet. Though her strong point is hunting, she's a good, endurance-based fighter. She shares that same lithe build with Sparrowheart, though she's got a bit of height to her, like Osprey.
I imagine she and Sparrow could've been very close as kits, with her having a knack for getting into trouble and his eagerness for adventure. Maybe they drifted apart as apprentices, but could reconnect once she's persuaded to join the Rebellion. I think she and Osprey get along fine, but she’s always been closer with Sparrow due to their like-mindedness.
Warblerpelt’s favoring of her elder brother could have made her resentful, but it only manifested as her becoming a cat who seeks approval and praise like air.
I think it would be fun at first, if she was a Minnow-supporter and then later joins the rebellion, for the sake of family drama if nothing else. I picture her thinking that Minnowstar is a strong cat and that leaders sometimes have to make cruel choices for the benefit of the group.
Going to go ahead and say she doesn't know her family's full involvement with the rebellion, maybe she has suspicions, but I'd like it if she was unaware for plotting potential. Maybe she chalks Sparrow’s rambles up to just that until Osprey and him seem to be in on something she isn’t and that leads to tensions and such ?
Let me know what you think, I’m very flexible : ))
soot, merlintail is yours! I really love the ideas and dynamics you have thought out for her and I’m excited to see how her differing views can bring some drama to the family! We’ll definitely need to have a family thread once all the bios are accepted!

Name: pappy Character Applying For: Loudstorm's sister
Relationship with my Character/their family:
Roseclaw - Every night after she initially broke her leg, Wolfpaw would sleep by her mother's side, often comforting her about her early retirement. Wolfpaw was near warrior age when this occurred and it led to her to spend more time helping her mother adjust to the new way of life than practising. Regardless she gained her warrior name with her siblings and was named well for it.
Blacktail - Although she never knew him personally, the stories of her father has helped her through having a lack of a father figure. She grew a strong independency through her mother's injury and father's death.
Loudstorm - She secretly blames Loudstorm for their mother becoming a young elder. She blames his arrogance and prideful apprentice self. A better, smarter or wiser cat wouldn't have went into a bear's den. Wolfbriar doesn't find ignorance a reasonable excuse for crippling their mother and has always held resentment against him for it. With age that resentment has eased but hasn't been forgotten. If the past could be forgotten she would find herself to be very fond of her brother.
Crowheart - Deep in her heart she knows Crowpaw is really to blame for their mother's injury.
Reedtail (nephew) - This tom. Needs. To. Never. Speak. Again. His voice irritates her at this point. Reedtail and Wolfbriar do not get along. The arrogant attitude oozing from him urges Wolfbriar to scold him anytime she can regardless of the fact he is a warrior now. She's made her opinion of him very clear but would still give him a chance to talk about anything important if he really needed her. She loves him from far away.
Honeyblaze (nephew) - Wolfbriar's favourite nephew (although she'd never show it). She has all the time in the world for her adopted nephew and would entertain the gossiping nature the tom insists.
Hailheart (nephew) - Wolfbriar is fond of Hailheart (can flesh this out more when he's adopted!).
Dawnlight (Sister-in-law) - Her brother's mate has all of Wolfbriar's respect. Dawnlight's personality never fails to cheer Wolfbriar up and she loves spending time with her, even if it's keeping each other company, or gossiping about Loudstorm. She's very fond of the warrior Loudstorm partnered with and was overjoyed when they had kits. Wolfbriar was aware of how unsure Loudstorm was about becoming a father but was extremely happy for Dawnlight getting the kittens she deeply wanted. Wolfbriar would give her life to the mother of her nephews in a heartbeat. Perhaps there was some tension due to Wolfbriar overstepping her aunt duties (telling Dawnlight how to parent).
Gale (Whitepaw) - Once she gets to know her, Wolfbriar will likely love Whitepaw. Having a niece will endear Wolfbriar.
Plot plans for family:
Loudstorm - Perhaps have a point they argue out their past?
Reedtail - Perhaps an argument about how he needs to grow up and have the two cat fight it out
Gale (Whitepaw) - Initially, Wolfbriar may try to persuade Loudstorm away from adopting Gale, due to how he was unsure about becoming a father. As Whitepaw progresses, Wolfbriar might push her to grow independent too early and encourage her that parents and mentors are more to guide than to actually 'parent'. She'd be the cool liberal auntie (which may have consequences?)
Plot plans for Clan:
I'd like to get a better feel for the clan before plotting anything!
Any changes you would like to make:
Her main characteristics be: + Independent, carefree, wise (diplomatic) and sees potential in all cats - Bossy, quick to scold (critical), gives unsolicited advice and can be a gossip
Have her have a twisted perspective on her early independence. She was a mature youth so adapted well. She was well-adjusted due to her mentor's strong parental instincts but she remembers it as her just guiding her through the hard time. As awful as it was she was too blind to realise the effort and true parenting her mentor did for her. This will influence her character and how she treats other cats (eg expecting too much from younger cats and being critical of warriors)
