Milkblaze is a short tom, a head below his taller peers. But don't take his height as a weakness. Milkblaze more than makes up for it with strong legs and speed. He's known for jumping far and fast, making up the distance his taller peers can cover. Most of his muscle is lean and is hard to notice underneath his fur. You'll take him for a weakling, then get a brutal scratch to the eye.

He's got milky white fur, the same colour as a fresh snowfall. Large patches of black break up the white, that cluster around his head and back. A few spots reach his leg and the end of his tail is black. His paw beans are fully black. While short, his fur is thick and dense, especially around his neck and chest.

While obviously cute and kit-like in appearance, you'll hardly see Milkblaze looking happy. His face is large with wide, green eyes. He always seems to be tensed or looking irritable. His muzzle is short, and slightly pressed in.

Milkblaze is confident. He knows his strength and knows how best to use it. You'll never find Milkblaze doubting himself. This allows him to make quick decisions, and handle tense situations with brutal efficiency.

Milkblaze is not one to stay quiet. He's very proud of his opinions and open about his thoughts. He'll say what's on his mind regardless of the consequences. While this lets him be open and honest with others, it can also come across as rude.

Milkblaze is selfish. He's the type to know what he wants and take it. He often forgets to think about what others want or how they feel. He and the rest of his clan deserve the world (but mostly him).

Milkblaze is manipulative or likes to think he is. He takes on a sweet, meek demeanour in an attempt to appear less threatening. Cats who know him well can see right through the act, but he still uses it to flirt with cats from other clans.

Blazeleap was not one for the nursery. No one expected her to settle down and start nesting, but when Orchidshade tells her she's expecting kits, Blazeleap surprises everyone. She seeks out guidance from other mothers and starts preparing her nest to welcome little Milk-kit and Mintkit into the world. Her mate, Sagepool was the happiest everyone had ever seen. He spent too much time in the nursery, hovering over the two kits and smothering them with licks and snuggles. They were, by all means, the perfect parents.

Milk-kit is born in the middle of the war, taking his parents out of the bulk of the fighting. On his first moon, Icesong is named the newest deputy and harsh training for war kicks off. Blazeleap grows fond of the new deputy, appreciating her aggressive stance on the war. Sagepool is less so. He sees apprentices being trained to fight and worries about the day his kits become apprentices. As the war rages on, Blazeleap takes a dislike to the refugees, a sentiment that rubs off onto Milk-kit.

Milkpaw is apprenticed to Woodfrost, a proud senior warrior. Though harsh, Milkpaw thrived under his training. He became stronger, fiercer and nationalistic. Growing closer to his mother, and more distant from his father, Milkpaw takes on her militaristic ideas and anti-outsider rhetoric. Under the watch of Woodfrost, he gets into border skirmishes, always coming home with a new scratch or two. Often his father tries to seek him out to see how he's doing, but Milkpaw kept shrugging him off. Soon enough, Sagepool stopped trying.


Milkblaze is named a warrior just in time for the next major battle. He's given a name in honour of his mother, and his quick, aggressive fighting style. His brother is named Mintbreeze alongside him. As a new warrior, Milkblaze joins the raid on LichenClan shores. Lionpaw, an apprentice Milkblaze had trained alongside dies to Wispfang's claws. Milkblaze finds out when he returns home, horrified to see what LichenClan is capable of. He grew more enraged, more eager to fight. In the final battle, Milkblaze storms LichenClan alongside his brother. He spares no mercy for apprentices or the injured, fighting whoever is in his path. He returns, bloodied, to a worried father and a proud mother.


A new era of peace comes to the island and while happy they won, Milkblaze can't sit still. He craves fighting and starts to pester former rogues and LichenClan cats who joined the clan. When the blizzard hits the clan, Milkblaze stays safe in camp with his kin. But a young apprentice Bumblepaw is caught out in the blizzard, losing his mentor. As a replacement Mintbreeze is chosen to take over the young tom's training. Luckily for Milkblaze, Sandpaw turned six moons and he was chosen to mentor the young tom. The pair of brothers begin training their first apprentices together, but Milkblaze has plans for his apprentice.
