WILDHEART
REDWOODCLAN
long haired flame point tom with blue eyes.
warrior
tom
33 moons
Appearance
Wildheart is a handsome tom for those concerned. He has an air of regal quietness to him, despite his words being more friendly than what some perceive him to be. He was named Wild- due to his often unmanageable coat as a kit. It would oft stick up in different directions and be quite hard to tame for his mother.
Since he has grown, Wildheart has stuck to a religious grooming schedule to make himself presentable to other cats. Though he can miss some stray fur, he is typically well groomed. Tall and broad shouldered like many of his Clan, he doesn't stick out. His thick coat helps him survive during leaf-bare. His eyes are a light baby blue, while his actual colors are a faint orange to dark orange.
He is a flame point with the darker areas being his face, ears, legs and some of his tail.

Personality
- BENEVOLENT; above all else, Wildheart is a well-meaning individual. He is kind toward others, even if they are not to him, and wishes them well in their own pursuits. He typically does not judge - and if he does, he does it quietly and in his mind. Partly why he was given -heart, he does his name proud. Warm, albeit a bit distant from others emotionally, and able to sympathize deeply with others. He never wishes ill for them; even if they had done something to inspire such actions.
- DUTIFUL; it can be easy to say a cat is loyal, but the tom is more than that. He is loyal by choice, not by what Clan he happened to grow up in. RedwoodClan has treated him well so tries his best to be his all for them. A hard-working warrior, he abides by the code before himself. This leads him to long patrols before he feels justified to taking food to keep him going. Wildheart prefers to work over lazing about, often leading him to the medicine cat's den where he's told to slow down.
- SOLEMN; not really a bad thing, but Wildheart is rather formal toward other cats. Though a good nature exists, he tends to keep other cats at arm's length. Not deeply emotional, nor the loudest spoken cat out there, he can be considered cold. He is serious and dignified, taking his job as a warrior with great pride. But therein lies that he isn't particularly close to anyone by choice. It'll take a bit to break through - for him and others.
- FICKLE; deep down, his loyalty can be swayed. should his Clan stop being what he thinks they should be, or rejects the code or even their own personality, Wildheart can begin to doubt them. His loyalty is, so far, earned by his fellow cat. If you add in complications such as his own feelings, he will start to question where his heart truly lies. He isn't a clog in the machine. He is alive, and has doubts like any other.

History
- KITHOOD; Wildkit was brought up typically for his Clan. Two warriors met and fell in love, resulting in his birth. Both were RedwoodClan cats, but their age difference - a good twenty moons apart - did turn some heads. But as long as they didn't break code, the Clan didn't scoff for long. His mother was a good queen, albeit a bit overworked with three kits. His father helped out between his duties, him being the more senior of the two with more responsibility. Wildkit, Flamekit and Redkit were healthy and happy.
Being the oldest kit, it fell to Wildkit to reign his siblings in. Flamekit was an impulsive she-cat, while Redkit was a shy tom. Unfortunately, his sister had managed to get out around her third moon. The Clan searched desperately, but she was never found. Redkit felt it was his fault for not alerting their mother and retreated further into himself. Wildkit tried to balance his time between playing with other kits to his brother and his guilt. He felt torn and responsible for his brother, caught between kit-like anger, grief and being a good sibling.
- APPRENTICESHIP; In the end, Wildkit did forgive Redkit. Both of them managed to get their apprentice names when it was time. Wildpaw was given to a senior warrior, while Redpaw was paired with a newer warrior. His mentor was a big influence on his life; the cat was reserved and patient, leading Wildpaw to pick up a few habits. Redpaw's training was more erratic, ever questioning and his mentor was always asking to train with Wildpaw and his. Not that either brother minded.
It was clear from the get-go that Redpaw was never going to be a good warrior. He was too skittish, always fumbling and questioning himself. This behavior didn't go away, even as they both neared their apprenticeship ends. The stress got too much for the young cat, and he simply disappeared one day during training. The Clan assumed a fox got him, maybe even a Twoleg, but he too was never found. Wildpaw assumed his brother left and was insulted he wasn't informed. Whatever Redpaw's fate, the clan moved on.
- WARRIORHOOD; He believed this was normal, but grieved in his own way. His parents tried to focus entirely on Wildpaw and make sure he reached warriorhood. The stress was often too much, but the young cat did his best to meet expectations. He was a good fighter, a decent hunter. He was the hope for his family. Some whispered that his brother did leave, not being loyal to his Clan... Wildpaw ignored the rumors and tried to make sure his mood didn't sour. He was never going to be a popular cat, but he did treat others with the respect they deserved.
Always helpful to the younger apprentices, always listening to his mentor... Wildpaw was a good cat. Nothing remarkable stood out except his kindness and sympathetic views. He was named Wildheart due to this, and his actual life began at that vigil. Now a warrior, he began to get more involved with his Clan. Patrols had more meaning. Socializing was done with grace and class. He was mindful of other Clans, though he was looked at with respect from fellow warriors. It was, however, clear that Wildheart was more reserved than his fellow cats. He made no meaningful connections outside of casual acquaintances.
In fact, he had no goals toward having kits of his own or even finding a nice she-cat to settle down with. At least, not yet anyway. The tom always felt he was pressured to do so. He focused entirely on his duties, trying to be the best warrior he could be for RedwoodClan. In the end Wildheart was just another warrior. He could only do so much, and often worked himself to exhaustion. Spending time in the medicine cat's den was met with quiet impatience. Orders to rest earned an irksome flick of his tail. But he always obeyed. How could he not? RedwoodClan was his life, his home.
So no, not much had happened during his warriorhood until this point. He did try to be available to mentor, though that hadn't happened yet. He waits with his usual quietness, hoping to make a difference.
