Aria Cressclaw didn't know what he expected, coming back into LichenClan territory as their enemy. Ever since he crossed the border, his heart had been racing and paws half-numb. Then, he ran into two cats he knew. Herongaze and Crescentbloom. Two cats who had helped him out when he was at his lowest, and he had to face them as the enemy. The paranoia, the guilt, and the feelings that he wanted put away. They were all back, and he hated it. The mink really wished that he hadn't volunteered now. Keeping his ears open, Cressclaw led Waspsong away from the battle and onto the territory line between RedwoodClan and LichenClan, towards the south. Caterwauls still echoed from the background, likely from the mooncave, but Cressclaw was hopeful that they were far enough away that no one would find them. Besides, they were just a fox-length from RedwoodClan territory, they could back up if needbe. When the duo finally stopped, though, Cressclaw gave a shaky breath and slowly sat down. Finally, he let the tension catch up to him, his front legs shaking slightly and his fur bristling. Why am I back here?"Waspsong." After a moment or two, Cressclaw finally spoke, his mouth drier than he expected. The cat lifted his neck to look at Waspsong, his brow furrowing slightly, ".. sorry." He didn't want to act like this. He really didn't want to. He couldn't, not here. Despite that, though, the tom knew that he would be having some bad dreams tonight, if he even slept at all. "So..." After a moment, he spoke again, shaking his head slightly, "What was with that... that name? You calling me that?"

Waspsong Redwoodclan A queen will always turn pain into power Waspsong wasn't the best when it came to thing like this however she was trying her hardest now. She follow after her dearest but there was a part of her conflicted. She knew very much crush on lichenclanner could mean. He had every right to return to his clan but even now she could notice he was so uncomfortable here even in caves. No difference this his hatred of water however he had trauma with Lichenclan...and there was always the change it was going to do back to hell of place. Removing the idea from her mind her she had sat down reminder herself no to leave his nest tonight.
"It's alright. I know the caves make you unconformable this hell of a place something. I don't think we will have to stay he long through the war will be over soon I am sure of it." The molly looking at the tom with a smile until she mention the name she gave him. Waspsong cleared her throat wondering it was right time to say anything or simply make some kinda of excuse. "It's a petname. I just felt the impulsive to say after Herongaze jumped on you."
"I have a question of my own before I say anything else." Waspsong couldn't let her feelings blind her from the truth but heart last wanted her to ask. "Are you going to stay here? I mean Minnowstar will die- an end to an era of suffering for all of us."

AriaWould he go back? That wasn't something that Cressclaw had thought into too deeply as of yet. They were still fighting LichenClan and the rogues back even now, they might still lose as of yet. They didn't really know how well other battles had gone, did they? For all they knew, RedwoodClan could be beaten back so hard that they'd have to wait for moons to recover. You know how badly LichenClan was left off, though, you know that wouldn't happen..."I don't know." Cressclaw replied after a few moments, shaking his head with a soft sigh, "I haven't even thought of that far, to be honest. Maybe if my brother's there... but I don't know. I'll think of that later. We have to watch our own tails for now." Looking back over towards Waspsong, the tom flicked his ear. He'd heard what she'd said regarding a petname, but chose not to comment. He knew what that implied. He didn't want it to imply that, so for now. It was to be ignored. She'd tackle it at a later date, surely. The tom lifted his head to glance over the surroundings, brow furrowing. The battle noises seemed to be closer, though perhaps that was just the paranoid clouding his mind. Either way, it was a little uncomfortable. "We should move on - find somewhere else. Somewhere - where we could help if needed." Yes, that was why they were here, after all. You couldn't back out of something you volunteered on, even if it was just volunteer. It was a battle, after all.
