Arrogant: His clan lost. There's talk of Rebellion. LichenClan is weak. So now, more than ever, Falconfire is convinced he is the most important cat in LichenClan. History
0 - 6 Moons
Unable to recover from her injuries, Cinderfoot dies soon after naming her son and daughter Falconkit and Stoatkit. Without a birth mother, the siblings find themselves shared between several queens in LichenClan. Falconkit feels a determination early on to stand out amongst his slew of littermates. Falconkit hears that he has a father and is saddened by the fact that whoever his father is, he doesn't want to meet him.
---
A specific elder takes an interest in the siblings. Falconkit is enthralled by the tales she tells of StarClan and mighty LichenClan warriors. He internalizes the folklore she shares and comes to believe that the greatest warriors are the brightest stars in the sky. But when the awestruck kit inquired about which star was Cinderfoot's, the elder hesitated, and knew naught what to say. Falconkit understood then how necessary it was for him to not only be great, he had to be infamous.
---
Determined to prove his worth and garner the attention of their absent father, Falconkit convinces his meeker sister to sneak out of camp with him. When the kits are confronted by an owl, the kits panic and run back to camp. Falconkit pins the blame on Stoatkit immediately when a warrior asks where they had gone. He can't risk his legacy, his place among the stars, and the kitten does what he has to do. When Stoatkit is held back instead of him, Falconkit is relieved, but a rift in their relationship is sown.
6 - 12 Moons
Falconkit is named Falconpaw and is assigned to the reserved Stormtalon. After the ceremony, Cranestrke introduces himself to his son for the first time. Falconpaw is joyed to finally meet the only other family he has aside from Stoatkit.
---
Cranestrike is only around Falconpaw to pity and warn him. Stormtalon wasn't to be trusted, having been caught loitering around the border with a RedwoodClan molly. A respected tom himself, Cranestrike was well aware of Minnowstar's intention to pair the traitor with an apprentice who would report his sins without a doubt. Falconpaw was furious! The leader was just using him to keep some heathen in line, sacrificing his chances of actually learning anything. However, that didn't mean he wouldn't do as Minnowstar wanted. He'd gladly report the tom and maybe then he would get the recognition he deserved.
---
Falconpaw hates Stormtalon and spends the next two moons chastising his mentor about his past treachery. It doesn't help that Stormtalon barely teaches him things of actual use. Falconpaw can't stand watching his peers surpass him and finally demands his father's training Cranestrike obliges but not without a cost. The tom's training is constant, intense, and merciless, but Falconpaw is joyed to be that much closer to becoming the cat he dreams about becoming.
---
Falconpaw befriends Cranestrike's apprentice, Sorrelpaw. The russet molly is able to stomach Falconpaw's constant boasting, favoring their shared ambition to become the strongest warriors in LichenClan. Sorrelpaw isn't like other apprentices who Falconpaw has come to see as less than. She's passionate and insanely witty. Cranestrike's training is a lot less intense with her beside him.
---
Near the end of his training, Falconpaw starts to seek out risky challenges that could propel his status. He begs to be on border patrols in hopes to meet the other clans with claws or is extra weary of any predator sightings. Falconpaw knows he is meant to take on these creatures and prove his worth.
---
For Falconpaw’s hunting assessment, the apprentice is tasked with leading his own hunting patrol. Falconpaw is ecstatic to finally have a chance to prove himself. On the excursion, Falconpaw isn’t satisfied with just catching a decent amount of prey; he wants to show that he isn’t like any of his regular peers. Falconpaw convinces a younger apprentice to follow prey past the border and into RedwoodClan territory. When they are inevitably caught and drama ensues, Falconpaw uses the opportunity to plan the perfect counter attack. With the help of his mentor and the other warriors on patrol, Falconpaw shows that he has a knack for planning battle strategies. While he feels nothing for the young apprentice who is later punished for such a mistake, Falconpaw is delighted to now be seen in a grander light for stopping a RedwoodClan patrol.
12 - 23 Moons
Falconpaw is delighted to be named Falconfire. A fierce name for a fierce tom, but apparently not enough for his father who can't even be bothered to shout his name at his ceremony. Determined to prove himself to both his father and clan, Falconfire spends most of his early warriorhood overachieving. When he isn’t on as many patrols as he can muster, the tom is still honing his fighting skills. He finds himself under the tutelage of many practiced warriors.
---
Falconfire still finds himself longing for something more. Is he really gong to become the brightest star in the future just by mastering some moves? Deciding that his future should involve the continuing of his legacy, Falconfire begins to spend more time with his longtime friend Sorrelstrike. However, at the mention of kits, Sorrelstrike completely freaks. Falconfire, not understanding why his favorite molly wouldn't want to start a family with him, finds himself bombarding the molly for the next few moons. Anything to assure he has the perfect family. The two break up and the tabby is enraged to see his ex immediately stir a relationship up with his sister Stoatstripe, someone who he hadn't even thought of in moons. After a devastating argument, Falconfire vows to make his sister pay.
---
At a gathering, a tribe cat is uncovered and Falconfire is both infuriated and perplexed by the intruders presence. To think there's another group of cats across the waters, another land, another group of sinners. Falconfire hates to admit that it may have been in Lichenclan's interest to take the sinners for themselves for their own interrogations. Instead, the heathens in RedwoodClan would have information that they didn't.
---
Bent still on his legacy, Falconfire goes for an easy molly. Skypetal. The silver tabby doesn't even hesitate when he offers his courtship, and seems to agree with him on the same sentiments. The two court immediately and Falconfire can't help the excitement he feels getting to raise strong LichenClanners of his own.
23 - 48 Moons
Falconfire is given his first apprentice. Merlinpaw is mischievous and impulsive but Falconfire welcomes the challenge and doesn't hesitate in using her approval-seeking nature to his advantage. He vows that one day Melinpaw will be just as strong as him.
---
Raising a family wasn't as easy as he thought it would be. Especially when the tom was hardly allowed to be a father in the first place. Skypetal gives birth to two daughters--Rootkit and Mallowkit--and rarely lets him in to train them. Falconfire does everything in his power to get to his daughters, but there's only so much a furious father could do in a den full of nursing queens. Falconfire gives up, and is devastated by his wasted blood.
---
When war returns to LichenClan, Falconfire is adamant about being one of the warriors to help make sure the Moon Cave belongs to LichenClan. In the midst of their conflict, the tom is allowed on battle patrols and utilizes the opportunity to show his real prowess. The swift tabby makes a name for himself, he’s quick on the battlefield and his enemies never know what’s coming. Falconfire uses these opportunities to help train his apprentice who grows impassioned by the cause and earns the name Merlintail after a particularly challenging skirmish.
---
Falconfire attempts a relationship with his daughters when they are named apprentices, however Mallowpaw is much too delicate, her interest solely on the nursery just like her pathetic mother. Rootpaw doesn't even give him the time of day. Aside from forcing Rootpaw into training once or twice, he comes to see all his ties to Skypetal as failures and breaks up with her. Though after their argument, Falconfire learns that Skypetal is pregnant with more kits but Falconfire refuses to be the father of another pair of weak, useless kits.
---
Cranestrike dies fighting in battle. Falconfire feels mocked by his pathetic death. Even as life seeps from him, Cranestrike still can't acknowledge Falconfire for how great he is. Burying the tom, Falconfire's ambition to become the strongest, fastest, most respected cat in the forest festers and grows. No one will ignore him. Not his father, not his sister, nor his kits. No one would doubt him again.
---
Sorrelstrike dies to infection from her woumds. Falconfire reluctantly mourns her death, but is subtly delighted that Stoatstripe doesn't get to have her either.
Falconfire catches his sister sneaking out of camp and confirms his suspicion of treachery when he finds her chatting with a RedwoodClan tom. Falconfire doesn't hesitate in reporting her, letting her sins be known when Stoatstripe doesn't admit to them during confession. While he intends to use the information to gain Minnowstar's trust, the tom is thrilled to finally have his revenge on his sister after she betrayed him those moons ago.
---
Falconfire is an active participant in LichenClan's war as their feud with RedwoodClan intensifies. When the Hemlockheart, the deputy disappears, Falconfire is convinced that after his moons of service, he is the most deserving of deputy. Instead, Bristlefur is named. The seasoned warrior is furious, and he takes that anger out on RedwoodClan warriors as the tabby continuously fights to prove himself.
Falconfire contemplates challenging Bristlefur himself when he isn't chosen to ambush the heathens in RedwoodClan. He isn't surprised when they lose, but still finds himself livid at LichenClan's lackluster display. The warrior pins the blame on both LichenClan higher ups. After Minnowstar changes the plan last minute, Falconfire wonders if the molly is truly fit to lead. LichenClan is made a mockery of, and the tom becomes bent on fixing his clan.
48 - 55 Moons
After the failure with RedwoodClan, Minnowstar begins to spiral into insanity. Rife with paranoia, she hosts another confession where the devout tom earns the leaders trust, confessing to selfishness. Falconfire asks StarClan to help him bring LichenClan back to its former glory. When Minnowstar--to his shock--punishes and banishes those with shameful confessions, the warrior is eager to help make sure the sinful know their place. Falconfire personally believe that those who go against the stars deserve The Dark Forest, but the tom is content with personally ensuring traitors like his former mate, Skypetal, never walk on LichenClan territory again. Now known for his devotion, the leader bestows Falconfire with the responsibility of guarding the heathens in The Catacombs. The tabby joyfully obliges.
---
The confessions had been the perfect way to root out some of the sin within their ranks, but it had also been a way to hear out felines who thought just like him. Falconfire learns of Emberscorch's unwavering devotion, and finds comradery with the scarred molly. Both holy warrior's agree that their ranks are rife with sin and go to Minnowstar to gain permission from the leader to work as her eyes.
---
Falconfire's approval of Minnowstar quickly dissipates when the insane molly leads an entire band of rogues to LichenClan territory. Claiming that Briarfall received a prophecy, Minnowstar insisted that the demons were sent to StarClan to aid them in their war. It didn't make sense, and it infuriated the tom. It was sickening how his clan had fallen so far, so weak, so tainted with sin, that they needed rogues to step in and fight for him. Or at least that's what the tom told himself.
---
The rogues immediately get a chance to prove themselves, RedwoodClan invading their camp the following night. A traitor leads the enemy clan straight into their camp, and it's a horrific sight, having to watch rogues step up to defend them. In the midst of it all, Falconfire teams up with Emberscorch to send RedwoodClan sinners to The Dark Forest. Forcing the heathens out upon the shore, the brutal tabby uses the lake to advantage, holding the battered Beewing under the surface while Emberscorch finishes the job.
---
After RedwoodClan's ambush and learning that the enemy clan harbors LichenClan traitors, Minnowstar calls upon her most loyal warriors to help plan their demise. Having finally earned the respect he deserves as a senior warrior, Falconfire is delighted when the leader is obviously drawn to his plan. They would simply use the rogues, sending to invade RedwoodClan from the north as a distraction. And then he'd lead LichenClan's strongest warriors straight to the heathen's camp in the midst of it all. Finally, he could picture a life without having to worry about the faithless sinners at their border.
And then it happens. Again! Just like last time, their foolish leader changes the plan last minute. LichenClan's forces are halved when Minnowstar suddenly sends the rogues to ThistleClan's border, ruining what could have been a concentrated effort to end RedwoodClan once and for all. Instead, Falconfire is forced to lead what's left of his patrol to face the whole of RedwoodClan. Falconfire faces a devastating loss from Tigerpool, but blames Minnowstar for his broken nose. It's clear that she can't be trusted, but trapped in The Medicine Cat den for a moon, Falconfire finds himself alone in his thinking. After all, LichenClan had won that battle, it was just him that had lost. In one night, they had killed two leaders, but like always, the senior warrior saw the future. With nothing else to dwell on, the tabby was sure that the worse was yet to come, and that Minnowstar had finally awoken what once had been dormant.
---
Falconfire feels his weakest when he doesn't stand up against Minnowstar's next audacious decree. No matter how many heathens the rogues have killed, they're still rogues. Yet the leader decides to let them move into their camp. For the first time in his life, Falconfire isn't proud to be of LichenClan.
55 - 67 Moons
That Green-leaf, Falconfire is granted his first apprentice in moons. The seasoned warrior had been overjoyed by what had initially appeared a blessing. The idea of turning a runty she-kit into a skilled fighter excited him, but it did not excite the apprentice. Lilacpaw is among the oddest cats the tom has ever met. And after a failed attempt to get her to train, Falconfire can't help but thank StarClan when the peculiar torite is named Briarfall's apprentice instead. Still, the tom yearns for an apprentice, but finds his attention on something, or rather someone else in the following moons.
---
The moon rises over LichenClan, but instead of painting their lands silver, their territory is painted red. The blood moon is a grave omen after all that LichenClan's has done, and especially against the rogues that taint their land. Falconfire finds comradery in a younger molly under the ominous moon. Beside The Moonpool, he finds that he's not alone in his thinking. This Wavefrost, she agrees with him in thinking that Minnowstar isn't the same. The Dark Forest has tainted her, and something needs to be done about the sin that's rife within LichenClan. Doing what he can to avoid the rogues that now "live" in their camp, Falconfire finds himself spending a lot of time with the sharp molly.
---
Falconfire isn't named deputy when once again, their deputy disappears. And while Lily being named deputy in Bristlefur's place was never official, it may have well as been. With LichenClan descending further and further into chaos, Wavefrost offers to make an arrangement, one that catches Falconfire completely off guard. Together, they would team up to help make LichenClan pure. And together they would raise children who'd brighten LichenClan's future. Falconfire saw the molly in a different light, finding that he respected Wavefrost even more for thinking far ahead of him. Finally, the prized tom would have a legacy he could be proud of.
---
Near the end of Leaf-fall, LichenClan is ambushed and a grand battle ensues. It's not just RedwoodClan, but ThistleClan, exiles, and cats he had never seen before. With Wavefrost's assistance, Falconfire fights to rid RedwoodClan from The Mooncave. Merciless as always, Thornfall falls beneath his claws, and the brutal tabby is bent on killing as many heathens as he can, while he still can. Falconfire is stopped by a friend however, but Emberscorch quickly becomes an enemy when she prevents him and Wavefrost from ending another sinners life. With Emberscorch acting like a traitor, Falconfire had no qualms treating her as such, and intends on killing her until their both forced to stop fighting.
---
When Falconfire arrives back to camp that night, he assaulted with shocking revaluations. LichenClan will never be the same again, nor will his place within it. With a changed Hemlockheart, now named Yarrowstar stepping into power, Falconfire is still left to worry about LichenClans's future that is seemingly filled with peace. He loathed Minnowstar, but now the warrior finds he hates the new leader as well. At least Minnowstar knew that the island was rife with sin. But Wavefrost makes him aware of other news. Knowing he'll be a father, LichenClan's future looks a little brighter.
---
A moon after Minnowstar's death, two lives are lost, but Wavefrost still manages to bring two miracles into the world. Convinced that his small family is the only thing still right with the world, Falconfire insists on bestowing fitting names to the kits who appeared just as divine as their mother. They name the she-kit Holykit, and the smaller son with patches of fur like his, Sacredkit. Despite their unassuming start, Falconfire knew that both kits would grow into their names someday.
---
Falconfire is forced to take justice in his own claws when he catches Chicorypelt fraternizing with his mate and kits across the border. Doubting that Yarrowstar would do anything against such clear sin, the sinister tom immediately assaults the traitor and wastes no time taking his life. With the corpse on the RedwoodClan side of the border, Falconfire crosses back home, but not scotch free. He's seen by Valerianbreeze, and is forced to attack her as well, threatening her life if word ever got out about Chicorypelt's death. And he does the same when he comes across a young Shellpaw as well. Falconfire hadn't been subtle at all, and when he's not with his family, the warrior fears what'll happen if anyone ever finds about Chicorypelt.
---
This season, Leaf-bare is accompanied by a treacherous storm. Layers and layers of snow pile up and trap LichenClan inside their cave. Holed up within the nursery, Falconfire appreciates Wavefrost's warmth, and comes to realize he appreciates a lot more about the molly. His feelings for the torbie are even more intense than the feelings he had for his former love, and the Falconfire struggles to hide it. Wavefrost isn't like any molly he's ever met, so when the molly agrees to be more than just partners in an arrangement, Falconfire finally feels whole. While Holykit and Sacredkit were formed out of obligation, the pair happily agree to bring more life into the world, this time out of their love.
