Chicorypaw is a petite tom, but also lanky and long, with wide green eyes and dainty little paws. His cheeks are round and chubby, and he is very expressive with his emotions. His pelt is medium-lengthed, feathery, and snow white, and he always kept pristinely clean.

He has an air of superiority about him, despite his small frame. Everywhere he goes, no matter who he is talking to, he does his best to hold himself higher than others, and to appear more regal than his natural appearance would allow him. His voice is squeaky and high, and this is something that will follow him into his warrior days. Despite the way he acts, he is largely unremarkable in appearance.

Chicorypaw believes wholeheartedly that he is one of the best and most capable individuals in his clan, or at least will be by the time he is a warrior. He has absolutely no issues letting others know his superiority. He is rather chatty, especially if it is about his successes. He is a perfectionist and will not finish a task until it is absolutely perfect. He will even go to the lengths of taking chores away from others if they are not performing as well as he thinks he could. Because of this, Chicorypaw can be very easy to take advantage of. If someone else purposely messed up their task, Chicorypaw would whisk it away without a second thought.

Unfortunately for the tom, he is unremarkable. Even if he ‘knows he is better than everyone else, in actuality, most of his abilities are lackluster at best. His fighting skills are not above par, nor are his hunting skills. Physically, he is painfully average. Luckily, he is very clear-headed otherwise and is a good problem solver. He tends to solve problems rationally and sometimes fails to do the more sympathetic option. This can sometimes cause him to make choices that, technically, are not bad, but still get him into trouble.


Chicorypaw is very sensitive but does not deal with it like a shyer cat with lower self-esteem. If any cat dares criticize him or made fun of anything that belongs to him, the grudge that would form could last a lifetime. He becomes defensive easily and is not afraid to snap at anyone who he thinks deserves it, a habit that could become dangerous depending on who he is lashing out at. He has sworn to himself to make sure that everyone knows that he is not a punching bag to be pushed around. He has no problems disagreeing with others, because he knows, in his heart, that he is right and they are wrong. He talks to most cats casually, even those in higher ranks than himself. He can also be very emotional, and often lets them slip out. He hates how expressive he can be, and wishes that he could be more stoic.


Despite all of his flaws, Chicorypaw truly does care. He wants the best for his clan and will do anything in his power to help them achieve a world in which LichenClan is safe and able to prosper. He has a lot to learn about how to achieve his goals, being a young apprentice, but his drive to succeed and fulfill his duty to his clan will push him forward.

Morelmask was thrilled to be having kittens. She had hoped to have a full litter of kits to fawn over and love but was just as pleased with her single kit, Chicorykit. The young tom's father died before he was born, and could not find any de facto friends in siblings, so his main companion was his mother. She was kind and gentle with him, and definitely put him on a pedestal. She knew that her kit would be the best warrior in the whole clan one day, and this attitude definitely informed Chicorykit's personality. He would frequently play games with his mother, most of which involved pretending to have the duties of a proper warrior.

Luckily for Chicorykit, his more extreme personality has only been on display within the nursery. He has yet to face consequences for his more chatty and boastful personality, as his mother has never thought to discourage it openly to him. She did often tell him of StarClan and the wonders it held, and his devotion to it is strong. When he was baptized, he held his head high and reveled in the experience of becoming closer to both his clan and the stars above.

The day that he was named an apprentice was the highlight of his life thus far. Finally, he could begin on his journey of becoming a powerful warrior, capable of protecting those he cared about. Surely, nothing could go wrong!
