Appearance — Smoke, fire, it's all going up
Tawnypaw is a cat who holds herself up with pride, and she has a lofty bearing with a slender physique. This feline stands at least a head taller than most of her peers, much like her sister. Everything about her communicates that she is unwilling to back down, a perfect compliment to her strident and outspoken persona. Her eyes and ears are pricked and alert, showing constant attentiveness. Her body is slender and graceful, with lean legs and a narrow tapered body. Tawnypaw possesses a pair of piercing bourbon-orange optics, commonly described to hold a world's worth of confidence and pride within them, blazing with the intensity of a fire.
Tawnypaw's pelt, like most thistleclan cats, is short and dense so as to provide protection from the sharp brambles that line their home. However, Tawnypaw's pelt is shorter than those of her brethren, the hairs rather coarse to the touch. Her pelt is vividly ginger-hued, like fire, with darker brownish stripes running across it. In this way, she is very much similar to her father than her mother. Tawnypaw is not a cat who worries much about vanity, but her pelt is generally well-kept. Her whiskers are thin to the point of being nearly invisible, coming off of her face like the silk threads of a spiderweb. Her mother gave her her name after the tawny owl.
Tawnypaw's face, just like the rest of her body, is whip-thin, bony, and angular. As a rather outspoken and expressive cat, it's easy to read emotions right off her face. There is no hiding any feelings, which is something that she has struggled with.

Personality - Don't you know I ain't afraid to shed a little blood
+ loyal, hardworking, protective, independent, brave, ambitious
-- bossy, loud, opinionated, mistrustful, fierce, suspicious
Tawnypaw is a force to be reckoned with, and sometimes called 'spitfire' for her fiery personality by the other apprentices. When she is faced by opposition or obstacles, she barrels through them with all the subtlety of a bull in a china shop. She will bend for no one, and can be quite the headache at times due to her rather brash and insensitive nature. Needless to say, sometimes she finds it hard to keep in line, more than willing to defy authority and go on her own path in order to solve problems. Tawnypaw is not a submissive cat, in fact, she is far from it. The ginger apprentice is easy to rile up, and tends to make for a strong-willed, smart-mouthed companion. She enjoys sparring, sometimes too roughly, with the other apprentices, and has even had the gall to challenge a full grown warrior to a friendly spar. A molly with a loud voice, she has very little hesitation in voicing her opinion, sometimes interrupting others to present her point.
Tawnypaw has a lot of trust issues, and sometimes, can be reluctant to open up to others.
