Pinepaw
Thistleclan
Blue somali with amber eyes
apprentice
female
7 moons
Appearance
Stature
Much alike her sister and father, Pinepaw was graced with long legs at birth. Often more than not, she peers through the space between ears of the rest of those close to her in age, but it does not make her any more graceful. She is also quite thin in build, her figure only impacted by puffed fur that only slightly fattens her.
Pelt
Pinepaw's pelt is much unlike her other surviving family. It is a bordered duo of bluish gray and soft beige, painting a contrast of highlights and shadows around her legs and especially her face. Her fur is short in length, though still fluffy around her chest and pluming feathery tail. It is not desired during the coldest winter months, but it is pleasantly soft to touch.
Face
Pinepaw's face is more narrow than it is round, and while her muzzle is certainly not smashed, it is not long. Her chin is rounded in a delicate slope that accentuates her round eyes, much alike an observant owl. With the fluffs of fur on her cheeks, her face appears wider than it actually is. Her eyes are a deep amber in color, similar to the leaves of Leaf-Fall.

Personality
+ Kind
Though she might be wary of trusting strangers, it doesn't mean her first thought is violence. As one of the more generous cats of Thistleclan, she is always keen on remembering that there a multiple sides to a story, and that it's always best to make a benevolent first impression on others to appeal to their best interests. Ever the observant one, Pinepaw knows when a kind heart is needed and when it isn't. Most of the time, it is.
+ Resourceful
Do not underestimate this cat's ability to figure things out quick. Even from a young age, Pinepaw showed promise in the area of brains, even if she wanted to be the brawns. She is efficient in using what she has around her in emergencies, and she prides herself on at least that much. Often her favorite chores are helping fix any imperfections in their dens, where she can put her thinking to use.
- Insecure
Much unlike her sister's arrogance, Pinepaw is one of many insecurities and self-reflection. She often worries herself to the bone that she might not be trying hard enough, which reflects in both her efforts and anxieties as an apprentice. It is her biggest downfall, not believing fully in herself.
- Mistrustful
Her mother's death took a great toll on her in her kithood, and it left Pinepaw with a sense of wariness around those outside of her clan. Even the other clan-cats can make her uneasy, more often than not, leaving her to remain quiet and anonymous whenever the opportunity arises.

History
Pinekit
Pinekit's kithood was uneventful at best. Starting out, she didn't even have a father. Despite her loving relationship with her mother and sister, it never came about who exactly her father was. If anyone knew, they never spoke of it, especially not her mother. It was quite cynical to her in her young age, to be lacking in the father department. However, the little cat had to make the best of it! In her blind youth, she'd been oblivious to the notion that usual life involved a father. Her life was supposed to involve a father, but she did not have one. Was that so bad?
As it turns out, it was. In her blindness to the outside world despite the nagging of Shadowheart's tone, she'd been fooled by the simplicity of childhood. The reckonings brought upon her mother were catastrophic and unfathomable to the little kit, and at the time, she hadn't understood. Why wasn't her mother going to come back to them? After all, she'd only gone out for a short moment, and what then? She was blissfully unaware of the horrific situation, much alike to her sister, though that didn't mean it didn't take its toll.
Pinepaw
The appearance of her father was jarring. One moment, she was alone with only her sister, and then in the blink of an eye, there was someone else. Not that he was very consistent in their life's endeavors. Though, she supposed she'd give him a point for trying. That didn't mean she wasn't angry, frustrated, or even just a little bit depressed. However, it seemed that her sister was taking it much worse. There were plenty of times she'd rage on about her frustrations with him, and the fact that he wasn't even there for them. Pinepaw couldn't blame her. After all, why wouldn't they be angry?
She struggles around him at best, though she does attempt talking to him, even if it might just be to talk about the weather. Perhaps, eventually, they would all get along. For now though, she knew well that they had work, and a lot of it.
