PATH GUARDED
BY STONE
Tribe of Floating Stones
mostly dark gray and white tom with green eyes
STONE GUARD
TOM
FIFTY ONE MOONS
Appearance
One glance at Path and you will realize why immediately why he is a guard and not a hunter. This cat is massive, his build consisting of packed muscle and a large frame. And he isn't just bulk, he's fur too, just adding to the mass that is this cat. His fur around his chest is longer than his whiskers, almost creating a mane effect, while the rest of his body is about half the length, yet still adding to his size. His tail is even more impressive, being long and feathery, while his paws are about as dainty as a bears. His ears take on the challenge of sharing equal equity, being large and proud up on top of his head, tufts of fur sprouting like weeds.
The coloring of this guy is alternatively a nice relaxing palette compared to his threatening structure. The grays of his pelt and green of his eyes makes for a nice natural yet stoic feel, especially with the pastel, light green hue of his eyes. His gray on his fur contrasts quite well, being more dark and vibrant. What breaks the monotony of the gray is the particular white streaks that invade his face and chest. The white starts from the right side of his muzzle, seeping into his chest where it spreads and melds, only to abruptly stop where his chest fur ends. This, and a little splash of white on his right front paw concludes the invasion of white on his body.

Personality
This big man might be threatening to look at, but unfortunately that might be a bad thing for this guy, because the last thing he would ever want is to scare someone without meaning to. The truth is, this cat is as genuine as it gets. With a constant source of optimism and hospitality, there really is few ways to get under his skin and actually see any threatening side at all. In fact, he's actually quite the pacifist. It was truly only his size that got him his position. Because with how much his paws naturally pack a punch, just the thought of hurting someone makes him uncomfortable. He is all about aiding others, finding humor to be the best medicine.
Although he isn't particularly smart, if we had to be honest, he is dedicated in his passions. He is very artistic and creative, and is usually the first to come to when needing advice on clever ways to repair a den or different camouflage that can be used with different debris. He can be very particular, too, almost in an OCD sense. He has his bed in a specific way, his routine is always consistent, even his fur must be placed evenly across his flank. In fact, if anything disrupts his OCD and there's nothing he can do about it, he will crawl up and get depressed for a while.
Now when it comes to relationships, this is when things get a little less genuine. Let's just say Path has some commitment issues. He has a love for females, and fully respects them, but anything further than a one night stand is rarer than if he found a red whisker on himself. This includes family, too. He is just really awkward when it comes to real emotion or love, and will flake out, even on his own children.

History
Path was born from a loving mother and father that raised him with all the respect and nurturing you could ever ask for out of parents. In fact, he was quite close to them. But they might have spoiled him too much. He definitely grew up being bullied for his lack of backbone and his constantly crazy fur. Yes, believe it or not, his pristine pelt wasn't always a trademark for him. In fact, his mother was always on him for keeping his fur straight, which was always a chore considering his long hair. But between his mother's embarrassing licks and the taunts from other kits and even to-bes, he developed a cleaning habit that trickled into every part of his life, turning him into a neat freak.
Being a to-be is probably the most uneventful part of his life in comparison to his tribemates. Due to his already impressive size and structure, there really wasn't a question on who he should train as. But, as a test run, he was actually designated to prey hunter first. It didn't last long, though, and not even because of his destiny. No, it was actually his docile nature that got in the way of his hunting. He would constantly either purposely lose prey, 'fail' to track it, or wander aimlessly in order to look distracted. Why? Because he felt bad for the prey. Even eating prey gives him the chills. But he wouldn't regret a single moment training as a prey hunter because he would meet the only girl that has ever taken his heart: Sunflower.
Path would follow this she-cat everywhere. And it wasn't even until they were graduated until he finally confessed. Just like that, they were mates. A popular pair, too. Bearing multiple litters though, you would think his children would find him just as popular. But this would lead to the downfall of Sunflower and his' relationship.
Path...wasn't ready for what he was getting into. His responsibilities as a cave guard would be his downfall in his relationship. It isn't like he didn't care, but he was just too much of a coward and didn't have enough passion to take on the fear of ruining these kits lives. So, he distanced himself. And that kept getting worse, and worse, until Sunflower would rarely see him. What would make this situation worse is that Sunflower wanted to dedicate herself in being a kit mother, finding her love of children being the passion she always sought for. But that wasn't his.
Now, a heart full of regrets, he fathers Moth, Buzz, Fog, and Spark, still trying to search for the words to say he was sorry for never being a part of their lives, and never being able to give his mate the goodbye she deserved before passing from sickness.
