Opinion of Finchstar... When Finchstar was first named deputy as Finchtail, Drizzlepelt didn't know what to think... or if she had very much faith in the nervous tom. He proved her wrong during the famine, where his efforts saw to it that the queens and their kits were fed as often as their Clan could afford to... She kept him up-to-date with the happenings inside of the nursery during this time, letting him know who was lost during the previous night... one day, when she confessed that she was worried that her daughter wasn't going to make it, Finchstar (still Finchtail at the time), gave his own rations to Drizzlepelt in an effort to help her. Ever since, she has held respect, gratitude, and a familial sense of love for the younger tom and has come to view him as the younger brother that she never had. Presently, she does her best to support him in all things - even if, at times, she disagrees with the decisions that he makes.
Opinion of Redfox... In the beginning of their relationship as adults, Drizzlepelt held some manner of respect for Redfox. She was tenacious and duty-minded... something that the Clan needed. She managed to maintain her positive opinion of the other molly even through her kitting and for a short time after... but then things began to change. As Redfox began to struggle with managing her full-time duties as both deputy and mother, Drizzlepelt began to wonder if there would ever be one in Redfox's mind that was more important than the other. She's worried that the answer to this has presented itself... Rather old-fashioned in nature, Drizzlepelt disagrees with Redfox's determination to maintain both her role as mother and as deputy and worries that the long hours spent away from her litter may have caused irreparable damage to their spirits. Following the death of Flarepaw under Redfox's rare moments of care, Drizzlepelt finds the small molly to be utterly reprehensible.
Opinion of Orchidshade... While they are not particularly close interpersonally, Drizzlepelt and Orchidshade have maintained a respectful working relationship - particularly after Orchidshade stepped up to serve their Clan as medicine cat when her brother removed himself from the position. She recognizes and holds the utmost respect for the sacrifice that the more warrior-minded molly made for their Clan, and does whatever she can to support Orchidshade in her new role, including midwifing for Queens as necessary and assisting in gathering nursery-related herbs for Orchidshade whenever her duties present the time to do so. If Orchidshade were to ever ask for her help, it is without question that Drizzlepelt would do whatever she could to help her.
Opinion of Smallpaw... Drizzlepelt is of the opinion that Smallpaw is a bright young molly full of potential, and that she may very well grow to heal her grandkits in RedwoodClan's future. Due to her mother's paranoid sense of protectiveness, Drizzlepelt was unable to interact as much with her during her kithood as she might have liked; instead doing her best to try and settle her mother and convince her that things would be OK so that Smallpaw, Smallkit at the time, might have had something of a chance to interact with others in the nursery... Drizzlepelt finds herself gladdened by Smallpaw's continued growth and relieved by the knowledge that with each moon, perhaps the young molly finds herself farther and farther away from her life underneath her mother's paws.

Relationships...
Opinion of Creek. A young but prominent hunter of the Tribe already by the time Creek was born, Rowan has always held some healthy level of skepticism and relatively high standards for Creek to meet. For a time, he grudgingly felt that the younger tom cat was doing well enough at leading their Tribe following in their previous Teller's paw-prints even after such little training... but then the sickness swept through. He knows in his heart of hearts that it's unfair to blame Creek for the deaths of his children, but it hasn't stopped an overwhelming sense of bitterness to surge inside of him. Things could have been different. His children didn't have to die... perhaps if other decisions had been made during their plague, his family might have still been in tact. Due to Rowan's recent and nearly complete loss of faith, he finds it even more difficult to trust Creek's judgment.
Opinion of Sunrise. Where so many others lost Rowan's respect during the illness that swept through the Tribe, Sunrise gained some. Rowan still finds it somewhat challenging to be around her for extended periods of time if the two are not focusing on their work due to her sometimes overly jovial and boastful (by his standards) nature. Out of respect for her talent, her work ethic, and her actions during the plague that helped see the Tribe fed, Rowan does his very best to simply put up with it whenever Sunrise seems to be feeling particularly spunky. He feels that ultimately, she was a good choice to lead the Tribe's hunters and strives to do what he can to ensure that she can continue to lead their hunters for many moons to come.
Opinion of Talon. In his youth, Rowan did not hold a positive opinion of Talon. As a to-be, he believed that Talon was coddled and spoiled. On a deeper level, one that Rowan prefers to never acknowledge, he was also jealous that the younger tom cat had parents that cared for his safety and loved him... even if it was too much, at times. He did not hold any measure of respect for Talon until the other tom cat broke from his parents and began focusing on his training. From that point, his opinion has grown over time to what it is today. Rowan admires dedication above all else and has seen this both in the way Talon preforms his duties and in how he interacts with his quickly growing family... He is beginning to wonder exactly how long Talon will 'let' his injury hold him back, however.
Opinion of Fern. While he holds a notable respect for Fern's self-assigned calling as a mentor to their Tribe's to-be's, he often feels that the other tom can be too soft in his teachings, as the two hold polar opposite approaches to training the Tribe's youth. Unused to such gentleness in life, Rowan struggles to see how coddling their youth could ever hope to benefit them... but despite his personal feelings on the matter, he has seen for himself the positive impact that Fern has had in the lives of their to-be's, and by extension the Tribe as a whole. At times, Rowan can become particularly frustrated with Fern's disorganized nature if it effects work and duty. Despite holding a nearly constant sense of underlying aggravation sparked by Fern's 'soft' nature, Rowan has thus far managed to hold his tongue and mind his own business...
Opinion of Cloud. Rowan holds a general distaste for Cloud due to her vanity and arrogance. He does not believe that her priorities or heart are in the right place at times and is also annoyed by any attempts at cheerfulness. All in all, Rowan does just about everything that he possibly can to avoid having to be around Cloud in any capacity whatsoever. If he does have to be around her - he makes sure that he has at least a few days worth of dirt clinging to his pelt... some small, spiteful part of him hopes that his rustic approach to hygiene might offend her sense of vanity.
Opinion of Shadow. Though he would be intolerant of Shadow's mischief from any other cat, a sense of pity and a familiar sorrow prevents Rowan from becoming too irritated by her pranks. Having lost his own family in recent moons, Rowan struggles to see how Shadow can remain as kindhearted and involved with the Tribe as she is. It could be said that he admires her for being able to continue on as she has. Despite their similar griefs, Rowan remains as private and quiet about his feelings on these matters as he is with most things.
Opinion of Firefly. Rowan has never been particularly fond of this young tom cat, and he ensured that his children (who were roughly the same age as Firefly) didn't, either, to the best of his abilities. He holds a particular disdain for Firefly's boastful and flashy nature and detests it whenever the young tom cat begins to strive for the attention of others. He does his best to avoid being around the young cat because of his distaste for his nature, but if forced to linger in the same area as one another... Rowan would only be able to prevent himself from issuing some humbling quips for so long.
Opinion of Cardinal. If Rowan had it in him to love another tom, he would have loved Cardinal. As it is, he has a nearly boundless respect for the other tom's work ethic and general nature. Where others might find Cardinal prickly and too stoic to stand being around for too long, Rowan finds him to be pleasantly private and work-minded. Though Rowan is tight-lipped when it comes to praise, he has nothing but good things to say of Cardinal and has made his opinion of the other tom cat clear to others in the Tribe more than once.
Opinion of Blackbird. Rowan has come to find that he has a lot more to say about Blackbird than he probably knows how to or could. He admires her work ethic and dedication to her duties to both the Tribe and her family; he finds her stubbornness to be an attractive yet at times somewhat frustrating quality... and as a result doesn't seem to mind it very much whenever they butt-heads professionally due to occasional disagreements on how to go about certain things. He is not entirely comfortable with the new light that he is beginning to see her in, but finds himself drawn to her nevertheless.
Opinion of Bear. An enormous idiot - but a dedicated one. Rowan would never seek to hold a conversation with Bear (though that hardly seems to matter to the other tom), but holds enough respect for his loyalty to tolerate his jolliness. He does appreciate that Bear is able to make decisions rather quickly, but he is critical of the fact that these decisions don't always lead to beneficial outcomes. He pities the tom for the loss of his family, and his pity is where most of his tolerance is drawn from.
Opinion of Iris. Rowan often finds himself in even quieter spirits than usual when around Iris. She reminds him greatly of his own daughter. He feels that if there was any cat among the Tribe that deserves to have survived their time of plague, it's Iris. Being around the young molly soothes some small part of the pit of grief inside of Rowan, and so he never objects to shared work or space... even if he is nearly silent whenever she's around. He feels as though it would be a betrayal of sorts to his departed daughter to foster any sort of paternal relationship with Iris and sometimes struggles with guilt that the urge to do so it still there.
Opinion of Sun. Before the deaths of his children, Rowan held a generally positive opinion of Sun. Despite her frequent bouts of illness, she still worked her hardest and strove to be the best that she could for the Tribe... Following the deaths of his children, Rowan can't help but resent her survival. Why should she, a cat that was always falling sick, survive where his healthy, capable children hadn't? He bites his tongue and keeps his resentment to himself as best as he can, but hasn't been able to prevent the occasional withering glare from following after her.
Opinion of Rain. Rowan finds Rain to be frustratingly whimsical in nature and difficult to understand as a result. He is prone to disregarding her thoughts and opinions when it comes to just about every matter due to her naive seeming nature and lack of a sense of grounding. He does not view her as being very capable and is very unlikely to trust her to execute her duties in any sort of effective manner.
Opinion of Fog. Rowan is of the belief that there is a great deal of potential in this obstinate, sometimes lazy seeming young cat... if he would only apply himself more. Fully aware of exactly how quick Fog is, Rowan has little patience for any displays of laziness and is quick to try and round the young tom cat up for a hunt in an effort to keep him constantly improving. Boredom is a choice as far as Rowan is concerned; one that he aims to encourage Fog to not to choose.
Opinion of Hemlock. Usually sporting an expression that makes it seem as though he's smelled something unpleasant whenever he's around Hemlock, Rowan believes that the young tom cat is perhaps too ambitious for his own good. He recognizes that his skills are improving as he grows and that he does have potential to be a great asset to their Tribe... but Rowan can't help but find all of the talking absolutely annoying, especially in regards to its contents. He holds very little gratitude for Hemlock's part in bringing help to their Tribe and has never issued any sort of word of thanks or acknowledgement of his actions during that time.
Opinion of River. Rowan views River as a troubled and at time frustrating young cat, but one that he believes holds potential despite her stunted size. While she may never be capable of taking down the larger prey that the brawnier hunters were more suited for, he recognizes her perceptive abilities and drive to succeed. The fact that she isn't one for conversation makes being around her easier for Rowan; he remains unbothered by clipped responses and even seems to prefer the fact that she's quieter than her peers... even if pricklier at times. She is one of a pawful of to-be's that he finds himself more invested in the success of than others.
Opinion of Primrose. Primrose makes Rowan deeply uncomfortable to be around for many different reasons. While he could and has gotten past other cats' runty afflictions in the past, he can't with Primrose. She is simply too odd, too helpless because of her oddities. He does not believe that she will survive much longer now that she is expected to leave the safety of the nest for training... the thought troubles him. Not for her sake - but for the family she will leave behind.
Opinion of Falcon. Originally, Rowan did not expect much from Falcon due to his missing limb. These days, however, he's begun to see that in most circumstances, Falcon is fairly agile in his own right - even with only three legs. He is fond of Falcon's drive to prove himself and to succeed, but can become impatient with Falcon if he becomes melancholic following his failures instead of learning from them and adapting to them as quickly as he can. Rowan would like to see Falcon grow into a capable young tom cat that knows the true value of his worth and doesn't feel the need to show-off or become morose following personal failures.
Opinion of Song. Though her youth frustrates him at times, like most of her litter - Rowan believes that Song has the potential to become a prominent member of the Tribe. He feels that she is on the right track for the most part and needs only time to mature in spirit as well as skill. Rowan does his best to help put Song's endless energy to use through training. His biggest point of contention with her is her optimistic outlook on situations; he may soon tell her that, "Sometimes a bad thing is just a bad thing and there is nothing good in it."
Opinion of Amber. There is, perhaps, no to-be that Rowan is stricter and harsher with than Amber. Due to his hatred of Amber's parents, he finds it incredibly difficult to tolerate being around the young tom cat for very long. He tries his best not to blame Amber for the choices that his parents made, but it's hard for him to look at the young tom cat without seeing the two deserters that scurried away like water-bugs during their Tribe's time of need, only to return in times of plenty. He aims to do what he can to discourage Amber from being anything like his parents at all.
Opinion of Maple. Rowan is reminded uncomfortably of his mother and her softness and gentleness whenever he is around Maple. Were it not for the fact that she was Talon's mate, it's likely that Rowan would have less to do with her than most in the Tribe. Part of him is concerned that what he perceives as her soft nature may hold her children and her mate back at times. Despite this, he remains cordial when around her out of the respect he holds for Talon.
Opinion of Orchid. As she is a mere kit so far, Rowan holds next to no opinion of Orchid, and most of his thoughts towards her are in regards to her parents rather than herself as an individual. He holds high hopes that she will take after her father as far as his work ethic is concerned, but practices a very paws-off approach to both of Maple's new kits and will continue to do so until they become to-be's.[/li][/ul]

- (C) Honor is for the Dead || Over fifty moons ago, Raggedthroat brings Beaverpaw to a grim understanding after saving his life. He chastises Beaverpaw for his attempts at honorable combat and demands that he use the claws in all of the terrible ways he had been taught to. Beaverpaw objects at first, then finds himself shaped and molded... reformed and repurposed.
- (C) If You're With Me || Raggedthroat follows proudly and casts his hateful shadow upon the gathering that Beavergaze calls together. As the senior warrior tries to teach them defensive tactics that could save many of their lives, anxious cats begin to fret and worry about what it means for the state of their Clan to be called to action by someone other than their wounded leader. Enraged by their fear and unwillingness to put paws to action, Raggedthroat summons pain and anguish from the past in an attempt to force them to see reason. Grief reacts strangely among those gathered - prompting Beavergaze to demand a cease to the fitful bickering.
- (IP) A Day Long Remembered || Raggedthroat casts his shadow over Cinderpaw as he reflects on the less than desirable outcome of Beavergaze's patrol. Determined as ever to steer his beloved Clan as far from weakness as possible, the ancient grizzled cat poses a question to Cinderpaw... and offers a solution.
- (IP) Hey Old Man, How's that Barbeque? || Following the torrential rains, Raggedthroat and Blackbriar work together to clear out sodden nesting from the elder's den and to prepare a new nest for its most recent and entirely too young occupant. The pair exchange words and thoughts on the state of their Clan and those living within it and cherished memories are summoned.
- (RETCONNED) Too Many Thoughts || Summoned to provide his ready perspective on RedwoodClan's state, Raggedthroat joins Redfox alongside Beavergaze and quickly comes to resent the presence of a fourth participant to their meeting - Shrewfur. His tongue and tone sour and lash their bitterness on those gathered as he makes his opinions on everything unapologetically known.
- (C) Drowning Dreams Mercilessly || Despite the sodden state of their lands following the rains, Raggedthroat and Beavergaze maintain their usual training routines... but new memories are made this day as over fifty moons of rage and resentment swell inside of Beavergaze. Unable to bear standing in his mentor's consuming shadow any longer or to listen to his hateful spewings on everything Beavergaze holds dear, he sets the record straight with his claws and tears down a legend in a single crippling blow. Pride and anger for his prodigy consume Raggedthroat as he's left with his blood and Beavergaze's warning.
- (IP) A Legend's Fall || Forced to seek medical treatment for the terrible wound given to him by his prodigy, Raggedthroat steams and seeps as he suffers through the even greater wounds inflicted to his pride.

- (C) Lets Get Down to Business || Drizzlepelt gathers with others of RedwoodClan as Redfox calls their attention to her. Her worry grows as it becomes clear that their Clan is far from off of the warpath. During the meeting, she notices the shattering effect of the Clan's dissatisfaction on Finchstar and resolves to seek him out later to check on him. Her son, Gullystorm, does his best to assure his mother that this time everything will work and that RedwoodClan would finally be safe... she draws what comfort she can from him.
- (C) Deliver Us || Kept awake with worry long into the night following their Clan's meeting, Drizzlepelt eventually gives up and decides to stretch her leg and enjoy the nighttime air as best as she can. As she looks to the stars, Beavergaze is relieved of sentry duty, and the pair settle down to share tongues... and their thoughts. Drizzlepelt shares her worries for the future and implores Beavergaze to keep an eye out for her sons as times become more dangerous; Beavergaze reveals that he has been devising a plan that might help their war efforts - Drizzlepelt implores him to share such things with Finchstar and speaks of a future in which they would know peace... perhaps long enough to have grandkits of their own.
- (C) A Bit of Borage and a Lot of Heart || With a new and particularly young queen in the nursery expecting kits, Drizzlepelt uses the need to help gather borage leaves for Orchidshade and Smallpaw as an excuse to draw Finchstar away in private to check on the tom cat following the negative outbursts during the Clan's most recent coming-together. Finchstar confesses that he doesn't wish to lead RedwoodClan any longer; Drizzlepelt tries to think of ways to ease her friend's burden.
- (A) See Right Through Me || Drizzlepelt and many others of the Clan split off into their designated groups in the days following Redfox's demand for increased battle training. While gathering a bit of cobwebs to treat the inevitable scraps and cuts that Acornpaw, Crescentpaw, and Flamingpaw were likely to suffer during their training that day, Drizzlepelt notices that Finchstar has not left with the patrol he was a part of. She does her best to inspire some bit of confidence in her friend and invites him to come along and assist with the training of the trio assigned to her care. She departs to rejoin her assigned apprentices, wondering what mischief they've managed to get up to in the meantime.
- (IP) Full & Empty Paws || Concerned following recent events for Acornpaw's training, Drizzlepelt elects to take both the young molly and Ottercloud out for a hunt. While catching a few pieces of prey for the Clan, Drizzlepelt takes the time to check in with Acornpaw and see how she's doing lately. Ottercloud puts his ears to use. Drizzlepelt and Acornpaw discuss Finchstar's present state and that of her mentoring; Drizzlepelt offers Acornpaw an outlet.
- (IP) Roll It, Bop It, Pounce It! || Drizzlepelt, Ottercloud, Barkpaw, Cinderpaw, and Cloudcatcher work together to clear old nesting material from the nursery. A competition is conjured and deals are struck - though some remain ever serious.
- (C) What is Warmth? || A changed and determined Beavergaze approaches Drizzlepelt, hungry for her time and for privacy. He asserts that he has become aware of his new and truer purpose in life and that it simply demands her presence at his side as not only his mate but the mother of his kits. Before she agrees, Drizzlepelt insists that he promise her two things... He does without question.
- (IP) Precautions & Preparations || Successful in his hunt for queen seeds, Beavergaze returns to a relieved Drizzlepelt. The pair share their concerns over LichenClan and the war between their Clans; Drizzlepelt implores Beavergaze to train the queens and to teach them tricks that would turn each of them into vicious fighters. After some deliberation, Beavergaze agrees and plans are made for training.

Bear that Bellows by Boulders stops by to check on the recovering Talon of Owl Who Hunts at Dawn, but gets distracted at the prospect of being able to meet the newest members of the Tribe and asks Maple if it would be alright to meet her kits.
- (C) To Move Forward || Sun that Shines Above continues to recover from the illness that decimated the Tribe in recent moons; Bear that Bellows by Boulders stops by to check in on her and to give updates on happenings within the Stone-Guards. The conversation is awkward and weighted with the troubles of past misunderstandings and present grief... despite this, Sun invites Bear along to fish with her for breakfast. Unfortunately, this does not go particularly well. After growing frustrated with his tip-toed attempts at socialization, Sun tells Bear to speak candidly to her. He falters and wavers, blurting out his insecurities regarding how useless he felt to the Tribe during their period of illness... the two part ways on a less than positive note; one dead fish between them.

Blackbird orders Bear and Iris to check the southwest while she and Cardinal check the northwest. While he and Iris aren't as successful in their search as Cardinal and Blackbird, they do find that there's an easy feeling friendship between them. Cardinal is torn apart and his corpse forcibly abandoned mere moments after Iris and Bear rejoin Blackbird.
- (IP) Feathers & Bone || Bear hunkers down with a shrew to try and smother his worries for the coming cold season and the troubles their Tribe may face by stuffing his stomach full. He finds his thoughts wandering and a sense of guilt creeping in as relief for the continued life of his friend invades almost every memory of their encounter in the woods.

- (IP) Red Lined || The afterglow of a successful hunt is quickly dashed when Rowan is approached by one of the cat's that he finds most annoying... along with Song.
- (IP) Istanbul (Not Constantinople) || While out hunting, Rowan comes across the familiar lazy form of Fog. Known for dragging the youth into task after task in the moons before the plague that decimated their Tribe, Rowan makes short work of resuming old habits and returns to Fog's new bachelor den to make him move.
- (IP) dusk never ends || Two troubled hearts find that the sweet embrace of sleep won't come to them. Blackbird and Rowan greet one another on the moor; their thoughts quickly miring in similar pits of grief as the reality of burying that which one gave life to becomes all too real for more than just Rowan.
