Sundewpaw
Thistleclan
Small brown ticked tabby with hazel eyes
Apprentice
Female
6 moons
Appearance
☀ Tiny for a clan cat, when full grown she will only weigh 6 lbs and will be about 7 inches in height. Despite this, she is pretty muscular beneath her short and fine coat with a pelt that is often described as silky in texture. Her ears are large, slightly pointed, and deep cupped; and her eyes are also large and almond-shaped. Her tail is slender, slightly shorter than the length of her body, and has a blunt tip.
☀ In detail, her pelt is described as "dark brown ticking on a warm old ivory ground color" with lighter cream-colored fur providing contrast along the belly, chest, muzzle, and chin. Her large round eyes are a warm and friendly hazel, a lovely mix of light honey brown with green more concentrated within the center.

☀ Curious, Playful, Passionate, and very stubborn; Sundewpaw is a very easy molly to get along with. Loyal to almost a self-sacrificing degree she loves her clan and her friends to death and would easily lay down her own life to protect them and the values she holds dear. Also known for her hot temper, her anger reminds many of a flash of lightning; intense, striking, and searing; but gone in a blink should you know how to appease her. However, she is very good at holding grudges; and this becomes even more intense if it is someone she cares about who has been insulted. She loves socializing and has no issue walking up to a stranger and becoming friends with them with terrifying ease.
☀ She tends to be quite nosey and while she would never outright gossip about any cat, that doesn't make her immune from wanting to at least hear what others are saying about clan dramas and rumors; if only to make sure it's not one of her friends being slandered. Sundew tends to take things very personally when insulted, ignored, or when she feels she is being replaced, and while she is friendly most of the time she isn't above using harsh words to inflict pain on others. Sundew also tends to be restless on calmer days, with the constant feeling that if she is not contributing something her friends will grow bored with her and abandon her at the drop of a whisker. As such, she has a bad habit of perhaps becoming overly clingy to those she loves; the constant fear of being replaced by someone better always looms in her mind.
☀ It's hard to overstate just how much she cares about finding love. As a passionate, warm, open-hearted molly – one that brims with hopes and dreams, ideas and experiences – Sundew brings every ounce of this vibrant energy to her romantic relationships. When she is interested in someone, she will rarely hold back, and as such she falls in love easily – and falls hard. She will shower any cats who catch her eye with affection, trusting that the devotion and passion that they feel are real. However, if her crush's enthusiasm doesn't seem to match her own, Sundew will end up feeling insecure or needy. And when the puppy-dog crush phase starts to flicker she might worry that her devotion has been misplaced and the match isn't meant to be after all (which usually leaves her feeling heartbroken or as if she may truly be unworthy of true love).
History
Kithood: Sundew's kittenhood , in short, chaotic. With her birth seem to come a fierce blizzard that made providing for her and her littermates. Her parents, in a fortunate twist of fate, were madly in love as well as deeply respected and strong warriors within the clan at this time. Her mothers' kitting was a difficult one, and being the only surviving kit of their last litter, it’s not too far-fetched to say that Sundewkit was perhaps a bit too coddled, always being told by her parents that she was destined to be strong.
She was barely two moons when the floods ravaged her home, she grew up knowing only the Bear Stones that Thistleclan had to retreat into for safety.
While her mother and father spent their time hunting and doing their part to evacuate the camp during the floods, Sundewkit spent a fair amount of time around the elders, fascinated by their wild tales of glorious battles and epic love stories. Oftentimes when her parents and older siblings worked late into the night to ensure the clan was fed and protected, she could be found to have dozed off in one of the elders’ nests, carried back to the nursery by her father or sisters once discovered.
Her extroverted personality was clear to see from the get-go. A stark contrast to her more brooding and melancholy clanmates, she was constantly chirping hello’s to any cat passing by the nursery, sneaking out of her mother's nest whenever she could to chase bugs or fireflies around the temporary camp or to try to simply go exploring. She made friends incredibly quickly, her competitiveness never stepping over the line of arrogant boasting. A skill that has carried over into her apprentice-hood.
Adolescence: The day of her apprentice ceremony was one of the most exciting days of her small life. Sitting beside her family, her leader spoke promising words about their futures as her family watched on, their chests puffed out and beaming, none more so than her father who it was rumored had bribed the leader into giving his daughter a mentor that would turn her into a fierce fighter.
She was given Blazingstorm as a mentor, and she follows him around like a burr stuck to his pelt. She watches everything her mentor says and does, absorbing every piece of advice as if it were the air she breathed, her eyes large and round and full of exhilarated awe. She will become extremely attached to her mentor, viewing them as a familial figure, and should any cat speak badly about them or to them, they can fully expect an angry little furball to pop up out of nowhere with biting words and small pointy teeth aimed for their ankles.
Adulthood: TBD
