GREEN-LEAF WRITING PROMPTS
Members are encouraged to engage with the seasonal writing prompts, available in each prospective tab above, to help integrate their characters into the current setting and plot.
Seasonal writing prompts change each season and are completely self-paced, and you can engage with them all season long. There are no deadlines, timed-posts, or prizes* available for creating and/or completing a prompt. They are a simply a tool to help create "topical" threads. You can follow a prompt word for word, or change it up and use it as a springboard.
*Seasonal writing prompt threads count toward a New Year's Sun Path if you chose that path.

REDWOODCLAN
RedwoodClan characters can engage with the following prompts:
- Spark tension by highlighting the new privileges of full-blooded RedwoodClan warriors: Only full-blooded RWC warriors can mentor apprentices and/or lead patrols. Play it out in a thread where a full-blooded warrior leads a border and/or hunting patrol with half-Clanners/former outsiders.
- Explore the growing anti/pro rogue/outsider tension in the Clan through an argument and/or discussion. Why has RedwoodClan let in so many outsiders? Why are they so altruistic? OR Why are rogues the problem all of a sudden?!
- Patrol those borders! With new leaders in ThistleClan, LichenClan, and the Tribe, nobody can be trusted right now, especially ThistleClan! Border skirmishes with TC and rogues are encouraged!
- Enjoy the fleeting warmth of green-leaf by strengthening bonds in the Firefly Glade during dusk (when the Fireflies are at their peek), or by meditating in the Redwood forest.
- Help Asterstorm and Blossomstep by stocking up on herbs or gathering fresh lavender for Finchstar's den. Ps. Finchstar wants the camp decorated with pretty flowers to keep up morale!
THISTLECLAN
ThistleClan characters can engage with the following prompts:
- Take out any frustrations on a den-mate by challenging them to a duel! With the sudden and unexpected leadership shakeup, ThistleClan is growing testy, and den-mates are getting shorter with one another because of the change. Claws are flying, so watch out!
- Patrol the new terrain and/or border with RedwoodClan following the reclaiming of Bear Stones, and report any conspicuous findings, particularly the faint scent of a Redwoodclan patrol leading into rogue territory. What does it mean?
- Patrol those borders! With new leaders in ThistleClan, LichenClan, and the Tribe, nobody can be trusted right now, especially RedwoodClan! Border skirmishes with RWC are encouraged.
- Finish final efforts on restoring the Vale to its former glory, such as re-digging their elaborate underground dens, reconstructing the medicine cat's den, and removing any remaining debris from the flood.
- Notify Meadowshine of any strange encounters or experiences within or around the tunnels and continue to search for Shadepool.

LICHENCLAN
LichenClan characters can engage with the following prompts:
- Seek counsel from The Council on personal affairs: Quickstar regarding LichenClan traditions and its future, Emberscorch on warrior and queen concerns. Deadeye about any traditionalist concerns, and Ghostface regarding any neutral issues and/or apprentice/youth concerns.
- Request training from Emberscorch and/or receive a training recommendation (paired with another warrior). This is particularly for former queen's wishing to learn how to fight and/or warriors who want to learn how to fight while impaired.
- Guard the MoonCave and/or tunnel entrance from den-mates and advise them to turnaround or proceed with extreme caution, or vise versa! Try to sneak into the tunnels and/or MoonCave and ignore the guards! Experience the true horrors by going into the tunnels themselves!
- Assist in healing (poorly or successfully) a den-mate using limited herbal/healing knowledge due to LichenClan's current lack of a medicine cat. Former queens are encouraged because of their nursing/husbandry knowledge and training!
- Argue and/or discuss current Clan politics with a like-minded den-mate (or not!): Quickstar's rise to leadership (is it legitimate), Yarrowstar's and Briarfall's disappearance, Lilacmist's death, the guards posted at the MoonCave/tunnels, and Emberscorch ordering all warriors to go on patrols, including queens.
TRIBE
Tribe of Floating Stones characters can engage with the following prompts:
- Whisper about Foxtail's strange predictions with a Tribe-mate following the events at the Estuary. Are they real? Does the new teller have a gift? Did you receive a prediction from Foxtail yourself and did it come true? Ps. this means you can thread your character receiving a low-stakes prediction from Foxtail, such as falling ill or catching elusive prey!
- Volunteer to help train Foxtail! With Fog retiring due to his injury, Foxtail will need all of the training she can get! He will be supportive of his tribe-mates helping her train. Offer to teach her about Tribe customs, history, prey-hunting techniques, stone-guard techniques, and herbal knowledge!
- Fumble a prey-hunting duty and report your mishaps to Sunrise and hammer out a solution! Be it a hunt of a protected prey, neglect of a hunting ground, or anything in between, we all screw up and that's ok!
- Challenge another hunter to a run, hunt-off, or other feat of fitness, or team up together for a big game hunt! Anything to get those muscles movin'. Sunrise wants her team to not only look good, but feel good enough to tackle the coming season.
- Practice caution while exploring the the estuary, and do not engage with any predators or strangers (Clan or rogue), who may try to stake a claim to the land. Help Talon reinforce their borders by setting traps and creating bramble barriers.

TUNNEL CATS
Tunnel Cat characters can engage with the following prompts:
- Search the tunnels for any unusual activity and experience a deeply unsettling presence. What really lies in the dark depths of the island?
- Pray at the lagoon and seek StarClan's wisdom but find no response. Instead a disturbing darkness lingers...
- Use the observatory to find peace, either alone or with a friend. One must keep the mind stable deep underground, especially now as darkness lingers and war threatens above.
- Venture into the drop offs, where many passageways exist below the ground, filled with danger and adventure. All manner of things end up here, see if you can find one!
- Take a trip above ground to share the lessons you've learned about peace with another faction! Lessons need practice to become skills.
CELANDINE
Celandine characters can engage with the following prompts:
- Prepare for battle by training at the northern cliffs with another rogue.
- Hunt on the peripheries of ThistleClan territory and goat about their newfound confidence—just don't get too cocky around the wrong ThistleClanner.
- Provoke conflict at RedwoodClan and LichenClan's accessible borders. Border skirmishes are encouraged!
- Explore the estuary and make friends or enemies with members of the Tribe.
- Escape the hot weather by relaxing by the rocky shoreline or taking a dip in the chilly waters of the lake.
