Hawkpaw
ThistleClan
a tall black and white she-cat with amber eyes.
apprentice
female
7 moons
Appearance
Lean, tall, and slender, Hawkpaw is far from the quintessential ThistleClanner. However, Hawkpaw being elegant is far from the truth. She is lithe but has the poise of a twig. Her ThistleClan blood breathes through her patches of black and white, reminiscent of the white pines and dark nights that she dwells under. Her name pays homage to her pelt, the black cape akin to the deadly predators who she was named after.
Her coat and whiskers are immaculate, with not a hair or whisker out of place, owing to her tidiness. Her paws and nose are a rosy pink, and equally soft and unblemished due to her undemanding youth in the nursery.
Hawkpaw’s face is enhanced with youth, but even so she is quite good-looking. Her dainty snout, medium-sized ears and pretty amber eyes harmonize and make a pretty she-cat. However, her eyes are often blazing in an amber glower or awash with embarrassment. Despite her best efforts, emotions are present and forthcoming on her face, allowing even the least intuitive to know her emotions even if she tries to hide it.

Personality
Known for her sullen glower and withdrawn disposition, Hawkpaw’s reputation is marked by her awkwardness and unfriendliness. The she-cat keeps to herself, only exchanging an envious glare with other apprentices or nervously deferring to her superiors.
She has no interest in befriending her peers, only believing that she is in her clan to learn and provide, not mindlessly prattle. Her lack of socialization has rendered her socially inept, although the main issue is not that she does not really know what to say, she just does not know when to say it. Not only this, but she is quick to misread others, either believing that one is black or white in their motives... although she often does lean on the darker side of things too often.
Her mean-spirited attitude towards her peers is a result of jealousy, deep-rooted in insecurity, although it would take time for Hawkpaw to ever admit it. She sees herself as a clumsy individual that constantly causes problems for others which causes her to drown herself in embarrassment. Despite her apparent dislike from her peers, deep down she yearns for acknowledgement and love. Give her attention, whether it be from a handsome tom or her clanmates and she will relish in it ignorantly.
Her nasty attitude and reserve are not the only factors that shun her; her devotion to the warrior code isolates her even more in ThistleClan. She has been called a goody-two-shoes since she was a kit, always telling on others and never playing with her food. Even though she is quick to point out the faults of others, when her mistakes are pointed out, she is quick to blame others, displaying her emotional. Upon reflection, she may admit her faults, but it would take a while for her to even acknowledge that she has done anything wrong.
Contrasting Hawkpaw’s envy, she is altruistic as she would rather suffer than have other suffer with her. This is one of the reasons why she spurns friendship, as she believes that she will drag the other with her, as she has done many times throughout her life… or she really hates them.
Hawkpaw is also quite the clever cat, as she is quick to come up with solutions, but she is not as quick to share them unless attention is involved.
her devotion to the warrior code and what is right makes her ethical and principled. Logic and ethics come as easy as breathing to her, she is able to understand what is happening, and who is right and what is wrong… at least according to the warrior code. However, even though she bases her moral compass on these teaching, she herself does not truly know what she believes is right or wrong, although she might be outraged at certain sins.
As evidenced from her immaculate appearance, Hawkpaw is tidy. She grooms once a day, every day, every moon, and every season. She is never late, always punctual, maybe even excessively so. Not only this, but Hawkpaw is methodical, planning ahead to the to the day, to the hour, and to the minute.
History
Hawk-kit is born in the aftermath of the war. Her mother's maw, eagerly full of love and affection, was scarred by the ravage of rogues during her pregnancy. Even though none could see or smell it, blood and the ravages of rogues stained the nursery. Still, Hawk-kit knew the warmth of her mother's teat, the tenderness of her mother's tongue, and the companionship of her brother. Not long after her eyes open, her brother's cries were washed out by the deluge of rain, and her mother's purrs were replaced with pandemonium. While the flood ravaged the ThistleClan, Hawk-kit was taken under the protection of Squirreltail, while her brother Snailkit is guarded by their mother, Possumface. During the chaos, Possumface and Snailkit go missing. They were not found until days later, appearing to have been killed by an uprooted tree. Hawk-kit is unable to truly comprehend her only family’s death.
After Hawk-kit is weaned, she began to find disparities between her and her peers. While they had mothers, fathers, and siblings to play and talk with, she remained relatively lonely in that aspect. Despite this, she accepted their requests to play, even though she might have fell twice on a good day.
When she was barred from playing with the other kits after an embarrassing fail, she spent the days chatting with the elders. She even learned about the warrior code, which the elders regard with disgust. She hears their stories ut then she gets sick after hanging out with the elders too much and even gets a tick. She spends time in the medicine cat den andmeets a young warrior who injured his leg grievously. He becomes a mini-dad for her and he likes the warrior code. He died due to an infection and she is very sad and has nobody to talk to. She then gets bullied by other kits for liking the warrior code. She is sad, and barely talking to anyone because she is too nervous. She becomes an apprentice.
