It could probably start an argument, depicting Sootnose's actual color. She perhaps bears a black overcoat with white throughout, but it's quite the opposite. It's a unique pelt to describe, considering the ebony and alabaster intermix throughout her entire pelage, creating a diverse pigmentation. Sootnose's white coloration peeks through the black mostly in her chest, abdomen, under her tail, and the tip of it. The white and black appear to have grey in between the areas where her predominant colors are expressed. Looking past her colors, the following notable feature would be her elongated, herculean body. Sootnose's physique can be somewhat of a barricade when slipping through small spaces, so she must find more open space. However, she doesn't quite surpass the average size. What sticks out the most, from a close-up perspective, would probably be her distinctive orangish-yellow visage. She sticks out amongst most; there's no bypassing such a feline with remarkable attributes.

Negative Traits: Envious, Misguided, Possessive, Sadistic, Committed, Hypnotic
Sootnose is a very meticulous molly, paying close attention to her surroundings and those amidst her. Anything around her, in general, she must get a good look at. Sootnose enjoys observing and taking notes for herself about others and things. Any information she can gather typically has its importance. She is cautious not to make a mistake by missing anything she might deem necessary. Otherwise, the mission failed. Sootnose finds herself invulnerable, painstaking her assignments and ideas or plans precisely and carefully. She isn't immoral, but more so immune emotionally and mentally. It is challenging to damage the she-cat's fractured brain more than what's been done. Sootnose is a systematic feline, doing everything according to plan and methodical order; planned before present circumstances. She constantly assures her plans are thought out accordingly, making wise and cautious decisions. She's clever when escaping a situation she needs to slip away. She tries to avoid getting herself into anything she can't handle. Believe it or not, she is humble. Sootnose is intelligent regarding possible victims, not that she has any yet. She is careful with her actions, observing movements and expressions to identify possible intentions of another, and then she strikes or she slinks back into the shadows. She doesn't brag about her technique, not approving of giant egos. Sure, Sootnose is confident and can often overestimate her ability, but it rarely happens.
A competitive bachelorette, she is. Sootnose will not go down easy in a fight as soon as it's officially settled. She adores and obsesses over a good brawl, unable to restrain herself once the beast is unleashed from her chains. She enjoys using her mass to her advantage, alongside her heavy paws. Having a way with her words, the atramentous damsel is hypnotic, easing her way in with a mask of charm and persuasive words. The mademoiselle sways others with her melodic, magnetic vocalizations that strike in a comforting yet mysterious way. It may strike curiousness in others, which can be dangerous with commitment. Sootnose is committed to the idea of murder, obsessing over that more than anything else. It fills a satisfaction that she tells others she aches for. Disturbing, that is, she ignores the idea of love, not having a view on love. Is love even worth it?
The atramentous feline is envious of families who can grow and live happily. This is considering the she-cat was never able to enjoy these feelings herself. The she-cat might appear lonely on the outside, but she is genuinely content with her current life, obsessing over the act of murder. However, deep down, Sootnose misses the idea of love, as it made her feel alive and confident in anything. She felt powerful without the urge to kill. Considering Sootnose was raised diversely, she is misguided, taking her beliefs and wishing to ruin others' lives with them. Her morals aren't pleasant ones, knowing her intentions might appear as a disgrace in the minds of others, but to her, it was now a gift and hobby she took on and favored. Yes, a hobby. Occasionally, her confidence can stand in the way, often makes mistakes. These mistakes are made when she's realized a cat is much stronger than she figured. During these moments, the feeling of panic surges through her blood. Sootnose hates having to run but will do so for her life and to enable her to go through with her plans. Her blood lust has become unbelievable, and she is unwilling to risk her life. She doesn't want to die so she can take out others' lives. There are times when Sootnose struggles to fight against these urges to kill, but rarely can she compete against what she ached for, and only time will tell before she snaps. Sootnose is someone who obsesses over things that she labels as hers. It is a rule that she explains to others, if another insists on befriending her, not to touch her belongings.
Sootnose is possessive over anything she claims hers, as she will gladly go as far as murder, especially if it's a significant other. Over time, she has become this way of losing her loves, finding the world unfair. She often puts her emotional needs over others, as she can become quick to anger or upset, rarely meeting expectations from others due to her overwhelming neediness. She sure is clingy, but she wants her particular other to be safe. In her next relationship, she will become more controlling to protect her future lover. Sadism finds its favor in Sootnose, as she's sadistic. She enjoys watching others suffer as she once did, desiring to make the death of others as brutal as possible. Sootnose is always sure to cause pain or suffering, psychologically and physically. She enjoys giving others a long-term situation to remember. Much like her father, Sootnose grew to kill what she despised, which was joyous families who thrived. If someone were to fall for the gal, she'd probably be unable to detect this on her own, as the words would need to be bluntly stated. Sootnose barely understands the concept of love anymore, as her love for the idea of murder is increasing. After the death of her mate and kits, it might be challenging to steal this she-cat's heart, but not impossible.
History
Kithood:
Sootnose was born into ThistleClan, named Sootkit, by her parents, Nightwhisper and Shadepool. Her parents were a diverse pair, sticking out amongst the rest. Her father, Nightwhisper, was a mysterious, secretive tom, while Shadepool was a delicate and brittle feline with a good heart. A cold-blood and warm-blooded pair. Sootkit was born alongside Volekit and Dapplekit, with who she quickly grew fond of her siblings. As soon as her eyes were opened, she was quick to enjoy a brief tussle and roll with her siblings. Volekit, her brother, was the one he typically stuck around, considering Dapplekit was always off with other kits. Sootkit was hardly interested in baring a relationship with his siblings, being despondent to the world, almost lost in his feelings.
Around three moons, her father, Nightwhisper, had decided to have a short talk with the molly, explaining that friendships will be meaningful in the future, as loneliness and misery can come from significant independence. The she-cat's freedom was unbearable to witness to her parents, wanting to see their daughter flourish and become a respectable, dutiful warrior. Sootkit was quick to retort, complaining that she didn't want friends and couldn't see herself making any. Nightwhisper would scowl and occasionally bop her on the crown when no one was around to see. Sootkit wasn't appreciative of her father's actions toward her, wishing she could do more.
Sootkit's kittenhood was not the most impressive thing, as her father had to knock sense into her literally, which didn't work all that well. Friendships wouldn't ever become easy for Sootkit as he aged. She didn't enjoy the nursery very much, slipping out of it as much as possible, even though it occasionally caused some scolding when escaping at the wrong times. Nightwhisper would be the one to mostly scold her, leaving a few bruises now and then. At five moons, Sootkit began to wonder why the other two were never punished, starting to learn what the feeling of anger was.
Sootkit hadn't paid much attention to her surroundings in her beginnings, seemingly solely recalling the foxes that had barged through and terrorized ThistleClan. Sootkit was told by her siblings that the deputy, Foxshade had been mauled by a pack of foxes, creating apprehension within the small feline.
Adolescence:
Sootkit had been excited about her apprenticeship, wondering who her mentor would be. The damsel wasn't keen, as her kithood had stressed her. Sootkit was renamed Sootpaw in honor of her apprenticeship, assigned to Yewbelly as her mentor. Yewbelly was a battle-scarred she-cat, about fifty moons or so. She was an excellent fighter, excelling in just about anything she learned. Sootpaw felt her mentor would be challenging to please, and she certainly wasn't looking toward attempting to do so. The last thing she wanted to do was disappoint her mentor, but how hard could it be? After all, her parents wanted her to establish a successful life. But what if that's not what she wanted?
By the first week, Sootpaw knew the territory as if she's been alive for various moons as a senior warrior. The atramentous feline was trained to track down Yewbelly within the vast region within minutes, failing the first few times she attempted. Yewbelly counted everything, taking notes in her mind about her apprentice. Sootpaw was being broken down, and she hadn't even known it. Yewberry was intense. Her gaze always sent a shiver down Sootpaw's spine. The she-cat learned how to track quickly, that skill coming naturally to her, hence her future name. Sootpaw's following focuses were agility and stamina. Yewbelly was sure to keep Sootpaw on her toes. During Sootpaw's apprenticeship, she showed disinterest in any affairs, whether in the direction of friendship or love. The she-cat didn't understand love, thinking it was ridiculous to fall in love, especially when the feelings didn't reach her. She would continue to keep to herself, typically minding her own business within the clan. This concerned her parents, especially her mother, Shadepool. Her mother would force her to find friends, scolding her if she noticed Sootpaw sneaked away. Occasionally, bursts of anger would cause fierce arguments between the she-cat's mother and the apprentice herself. These arguments between her and her mother would utterly enrage her father, Nightwhisper. With this came more punishments, as the whacks became harder and caused more physical pain to the young molly. Occasionally, her father would even make her skip meals for being "an insensitive mouse-brain." All behind closed doors. Nobody ever noticed.
Redwoodclan attempted to cross ThistleClan's domain to reach the sandbar. Nonetheless, a Thistlelcan warrior scrutinized the situation and warned Hawktail. She and a patrol quickly assemble and meet the Redwoodclan warriors, where a battle transpires. During this time, a lot had ensued within ThistleClan, occasionally stalling the damsel's training sessions. Eventually, the opposing clan kidnapped Nettlepaw to draw ThistleClan out to the abandoned campground. The plan works, and the brute takes one of her lives and severely impairs the apprentice.
In contrast, the tomcat reveals that he had belonged to the Tribe. Hawktail ordered a rescue patrol once Nettlepaw made it back to headquarters, hardly vibrant. Three rogues, including Curiosity, meet the patrol, and another skirmish occurs. Both Cederflame and Crowfrost lost their lives in conflict, while Hawktail is horrendously injured. Blazingstorm and Harechaser are competent enough to take Thievingstar back to camp safely. Hawktail decided to step down as deputy due to losing her sister, friend, and injuries, leading Firfoot to become Hawktail's successor. Sootpaw was concerned for her clan, keeping close to her parents' flank during this period. A month of drastic downpour terminated with a forceful gale, which resulted in tremendous flooding. Thistleclan's camp ends up demolished, exceeding repair, resulting in a few warriors and apprentices' deaths. In its aftermath, Thievingstar demoted Firfoot out of frustration and anger. Locomoting to more elevated ground, Thistleclan relocated to the Great Owl Tree, but the motherland is stony and intolerant, furnishing no natural refuge. Stagflight, Froststar's grandson, is then promoted to deputy.
When Sootpaw was around ten moons, she had started to spend more time around other apprentices with the force of her mother on her rear. Sootpaw had barely begun to make a few friends (more-so acquaintances), but none of them interested her further. One evening, Sootpaw snaked away from camp. An unfamiliar aroma struck her nostrils; who she ran into wasn't an Eagleclanner. The tomcat was a young long-furred siamese that appeared to be a loner. Sootpaw couldn't help but smile, feeling bashful at the sight of such a pulchritudinous cat. She hadn't been interested in anyone until she bumped into him, quickly jumping into a conversation with the loner. They had begun to converse, asking questions to one another. This loner's name was Badger, his colors somewhat representing that of a badger. The way her heart skipped beats when he gazed over her was a new feeling she would grow to adore.
After some time, Sootpaw would offer a goodbye and return to meet again sometime. This started to happen for moons, even until Sootpaw was named a warrior at thirteen moons.
